"This has to stop, Lexi. Paige will be here any minute." I growled at the face that would irritate me so. Lexi pouted her lips at a failed attempt to look adorable, as another failed attempt to make me give in to her.
"If you don't, then I'll tell her."
"Then tell her! I'm sick and tired of you black mailing me, Lexi!" My voice boomed throughout the villa. She seemed unphased by my anger and it only caused her to smirk. I opened my mouth to speak until a slam caught my attention.
Paige.." I whispered to myself.
She entered the living room where me and Lexi were currently at each others throats. "Paige." I tried, she held her hand to silence me.
"I see someone is thirsty again." Paige placed her hands on her hips, showing her attitude that I loved dearly. Seeing her was a breath of fresh air, but it would have been better if it were just me and her.
"Dehydration is a problem, Lexi. You should see a doctor."
Lexi scowled towards her and moved closer to me. "Cris here, relieves my thirst."
"Shut the fuck up, Lexi." I growled low enough for only her to hear.
"What's that, Cristiano? Tell Paige?"
"Tell me what?"
I hung my head down. I couldn't look her in the eyes, her hate and her hurt would break the remainder of my heart.
"Paige..I-I wanted to tell you--"
"You really impregnated her..." her voice trailed off and her eyes were moist.
"No! I didn't!"
Lexi started laughing and looked between the two of us. "I didn't even have to say anything to make Paige think something negative."
Anger blinded me and it took all my might not to back hand her then and there. I've had enough. Lexi was gone and I will make sure to ruin her in the future.
"Fuck you Lexis! You need to stop this shit! You ruined everything!! First you took advantage of me when I was drunk, you tried to frame me for knocking you up, which I didn't!"
Lexi took a few steps back, avoiding my spew of venom.
"That night was special to me! I've finally decided I wanted Paige in my life forever! That ring cost 45 thousand dollars!"
"Wait." Paige put her arms in front of her. "Ring? Forever? What are you talking about?"
"Paige." I sighed and made my way in front of her. Hesitately, I grabbed her hands in mine and looked deep in her eyes. "Marry me."
"Cristiano." Her voice was soft but sadness. Just hearing the tone of her voice shattered my heart. "I...after everything...I-I can't. "
"Paige please. We can fix things..we are strong."
"I have to go." Without listening to anything else I said, she stormed out of the villa.
My eyes darted to Lexi who held a large smirk on her face. "Get out of my house before I ruin you publically. This is a warning. "
She rolled her eyes at me and grabbed her bag, hopefully for the last time. "I'd like to see you try." She grumbled.
"Is that a threat?"
"Bye, Cristiano. "
Once the door slammed shut, I collapsed on my couch and felt the need to crawl in a hole. My heart was now non existing caused my chest to ache. Another fight. Another one for the books. Frankly, if this was all to test me and Paige's relationship, I'd fail. Obviously since the test results were a rejection to my proposal.
So what do I do now? I lay here. Laying in my own remorse and depression.
