*3 months later*
"can I see now" I asked as Nate pulled me by my hand.
"just a few more minutes"
it's been three months since I forgave Nate and honestly I've never been happier. me and jack worked it out. we are just friends and he's completely okay with that. I met Madison and she's a really sweet person.
we walked a little farther and I soon felt sand on my toes. I guess we are at the beach. we stopped and Nate took the blind fold off my face.
I looked infront of me and saw written in the sand "will you marry me?"
I looked at Nate and he was down on one knee holding out a diamond ring.
"aspen, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I know we've been through a lot but we worked it out and I'm the happiest I've been in months. because I have you and I wouldn't want anybody else by my side for the rest of my life...will you marry me?"
I nodded my head as the tears happily ran down my face. he slid the ring on my finger and lifted me off my feet.
after all we've been through. the breakups, the fights, the yelling, all of it. we still end up together.
I told him "don't leave" and he said "I'm not going anywhere"
