chapter 27:
*rowen's pov*
I walked up to kayla's front porch and walked right in. I developed that over the year. Her lazy butt never wants to get up and answer the door so she tellsme to walk right in.
I close the door and turn around and freeze. Keegan is sitting on Kayla's couch looking down at his hands deep in thought. I cleared my throat and he looked up startled. I saw sorrow in his eyes when they landed on me. I could tell he was regretting everything he had done. Just like he had deserved. I walked past him and his eyes stayed glued to me with a longing feeling it tore at my heart a little more.
I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the bat stools and choked down my tears. that's when reality kicked in. we were never going to last like I had hoped. Even though we had our perfect moments and our hopes we fell apart. That's when I realized I wouldn't forgive him for shoving reality into my face at my wreakest moment. For getting my hopes up and for most importantly bringing back the memories.

*kayla's pov*
I sat on the floor of my bedroom with kaylee and Zach sitting around me trying to get ne to calm down. I burst and lashed out at him but the thing is that I don't feel bad. He needed something shoved in his face. He needed reality.
"You okay now?" kaylee asked me. I only nodded scared that I will say something that will hurt someone again. I know it was wrong but someone had to say it. I knew the moment they met something was bound yo happen. Look where we are now. Who's right? oh yeah me.
"we should probably go back before rowen gets here and sees Keegan." Zachary said and I got up. I walked out of the room and into the living room. I saw Keegan sitting there sobbing into his hands. that's when I realized I was too late rowen was already here. I ran into the kitchen and saw kaylee rubbing Rowen's back as she cried also. Damn. what's up with the crying today. oh yeah nevermind.
"Rowen I'm sorry." I finally decided to speak. she looked up ad anger flashed through her eyes. and thats when the rampage started.
"HOW COULD YOU SEND ME HERE WHEN HE IS CLEARLY SITTING ON THE COUCH!" she screamed getting from her seat. I started to back away now scared for my life. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SET US UP TO SEE EACHOTHER AGAIN! THAT IS OUR BUISNESS. OUR PROBLEM." she huffed and turned around. She walked out of the kitchen and through the front door. I stood frozen and so did everyone else.
