This is a busy day for the Film Studies students dahil may inaasikaso silang activity sa isa nilang major subject.
"Part, what do you think? Saan magandang magshoot?" Reid asked.
"Part, someone texted me." Lustre blurted out. Tila hindi narinig ang sinabi ng binata. "Are you familiar with this digits?" dagdag pa nito. Habang ipinapakita 'yong cellphone nito.
"Akin na nga 'yan!" Reid said, and with that, inagaw nito ang cellphone ng dalaga sa kamay nito.
"Part, ano ba!"
"Distance!" galit na asik ng binata.
"Ibalik mo muna 'yang phone ko. Akin na nga 'yan!" Pagpupumilit pa ng dalaga.

"Hello?"
(Alexis. I'm so happy na tumawag ka. Tatawagan pa lang sana kita, eh."
"Who the hell are you?"
(Ah, ikaw ang sino ka? Bakit boses lalaki, ninakaw mo ba 'yong cellphone ni Alexis?)
"I asked first. Who the hell are you? And for the record, this is Nadine's bestfriend. You are not allowed to call her or even text her. So, back off!"
(Wh---) before the other line can utter a word, binaba na ni Reid ang telepono at ibinalik ito kay Lustre.
"And you, young lady, I want your full attention on me!" seryosong sabi ng binata.
"Look, Part! Ano bang ikinapuputok ng butchi mo diyan?"
"I'm just asking for your full attention, is that too much to ask now, huh?"
"Para 'yon lang? Pwede mo naman akong kalabitin o kung ano man hindi 'yong mang-aagaw ka pa ng cellphone ng iba."
"You're asking kung sino 'yon diba, kaya tinawagan ko."
"You don't get my point. It's MY cellphone. I just asked you kung kilala mo, kaya kong magtype at tumawag, pero nangengealam ka dyan!"
"Marami tayong ginagawa, pero your attention is elsewhere as if you're not interested sa kung ano ang ginagawa natin dito." Sabi ni Reid.
"Walang pupuntahan 'tong usapan na 'to."
"So now, pagmumukhain mo pa kong masama? All I'm saying is, may ginagawa tayo dito. Kailangan mong magfocus, pero kung anu-ano ang ginagawa mo diyan!"
"How many times do I have to tell you, nakikinig ako. I was just multi-tasking! For Pete's sake, Part, pati ba 'to pag-aawayan natin?" sabi ni Lustre.
"We are not fighting! Para ba sa'yo, away na 'to? That low, Part? May nagtext lang sa'yo na kung sino, nawala ka na sa ulirat?"
"Don't you dare brought that topic up, that's another story to tell. That was very rude of you, hindi nga natin kilala kung sinyo 'yon, tapos pagsasalitaan mo ng ganun? Geez."
"I was just trying to protect you, Part. You don't just talk to strangers."
"Really now, huh, Part? Protecting me? The last time I checked, you're not my knight and shining armor. You don't have a horse with you."
"Very you, Part. Very you. Right choice of words, by the way. Damn it!" with that, Reid felt a bit pain in his chest. After hearing those words from her, it hit her and he came back to his senses. "Sorry." He added and immediately makes his way out of the picture. Out of Lustre's sight.
Hours later...
"That guy!" sabi ni Lustre, out of frustration. Kanina niya pa tinatawagan si Reid pero hindi ito sumasagot, ilang beses na rin siyang nababaan ng telepono. "Konti na lang, iisipin ko na na nagseselos yung mokong na 'yon! Napaka-arte, eh!" dagdag pa nito. She was in the right corner of their gymnasium, alone. Talking to herself.
"Then so be it. Jealous, it is." a voice said.
It was Reid. And Lustre lost consciousness.
