Valerie (Val) Blythe and Dean Pinkette have always been, not just friends, but just enemies. They don't talk.

That is, until fate throws them together as partners on their school's Valentines 'Week' planning committee. Now it's up to two enemies to get everyone in school bitten by the 'love bug' in time for Valentine's Day Dance.
It's unbelievable that Ms Fitz let Val go ahead with her idea. But now the whole school is signing up for an app that will match them with some random and anonymous person that shares their interest.
Their match will be revealed the day of the Valentine's Day dance. Meanwhile they get to communicate with their match only via messaging.
Her idea seemed brilliant at first, but now Val's terrified that she got matched up with her arch-enemy Dean, who's working together with her on the Valentine's Week planning committee.
