Prologue
"I hate this day!" I cursed as I entered our condo
"Ano nanaman? You hot headed girl. Kailan ka kaya uuwi dito nang walang sumpong?" Graciella asked. She's looking at me while eating her sandwich
"Someone bumped my car! May gasgas sa gilid yung car ko! And that asshole just left his card! Inipit nya lang sa swiper ng kotse ko and he just went away!" Nang gigigil kong anas
"Chill!" Natatawang sabi ni Graciella. "Buti nga nag iwan pa ng card, atleast alam nyang kailangan nyang may pananagutan sya. Baka he's busy kaya di ka na nya naintay para jan sa tantrums mo." She continued
"Nang asar ka pa. I need to call him asap!" I said
"Wait, peram ako ng card patingin muna." I handed her the calling card
"Holy mother of shit! Luke Martin Griffin?" She said wide eyed.
"What the fuck Gracey?! Ano ba?" I was shocked by Graciella's sudden reaction
"You didn't know who's this guy, aren't you?" Nakangisi niyang sagot
Graciella is kinda creepy sometimes. Lol. She's my best bud since I was a kid. We live in this condo for about 3 or 4 years I think? We're really not from Manila, but we both moved here when we entered college. This condo was a gift to us by our parents since they know that even if they bought us separate condo we'll still live together. Eew
"Huh? You know that asshole? And please stop grinning like an idiot." I hissed at her
"Well he's Luke mother fucking Griffin, the CEO of LMG Industry, the hottest bachelor in town and the richest bad boy of all" she proudly said
"And so? Ginasgasan nya ang kotse ko and he can't get away with that, ang mahal kayang magpaayos sa casa no!" I said to her
"Uhh okay. Goodluck in negotiating with him. You know how business men do their job ayt?" She said
"This is not business Gracey, let me remind you. It's just I don't have any money left para ipaayos pa yung gasgas na yon." Sagot ko
"Gasgas lang ang OA mo." She sounded irritated
"OA? Try mong tingnan yung nangyari sa kotse ko baka pati ikaw uminit ulo mo." I answered
"Sige na tawagan mo na nga lang nang di na uminit ulo mo jan." She said as she finish her sandwich
Tumayo na ako at kinuha ang phone ko sa bag. Sa terrace ako pumwesto to breath some fresh air. I don't know why but I'm nervous with just a thought that I'll call that Luke.
I dialed his number nervously. After 4 rings he finally answered
"Hello. Who's this?" said the voice in the other line.
"Hi. This is Sophie, the o-owner of the black car you b-bumped into earlier." Why am I stammering?
"Oh hi! I thought you wouldn't call, so what can I do for you?" His baritone voice gives me chills
"Uhm I just wanna ask if your planning to pay for the damage since you left your card at my car." I said in a nervous tone. What the fuck is happening to me?
"Yeah yeah, I'm willing to pay. How much do you need?" He asked
"Uh I don't know yet, I still need to go to the repair shop to know the price. I'll call you again if I already know." I said
"Oh so you wanna talk to me again? Hahaha" I shivered with the way he laugh
"What the fuck?! Sabi ko di ko pa alam kung magkano kaya I still need to ask someone! Mayabang ka rin eh no?" Nag iinit na ang ulo ko hindi lang sa kanya kung hindi dahil na rin sa nararamdaman ko habang kausap siya
"Chill babe, let's meet tommorow at Café Andradé. I'll escort you to a casa. 9am sharp." He ended the call immediately. How gentleman he can be. I sighed at that thought
I stayed there a little longer after that call but I felt hungry so I decided to eat something.
"So tinawagan mo na?"Gracey asked
"Yep." I shortly answered
"Ang detailed mo mag kwento friend huh. So ano nga?" She said irritably
"Di rin sya mayabang no? Kung may pera lang sana ako pang paayos di ko sya sisiputin bukas!" I blew a dip sigh
"OH MY GOD! YOU'LL MEET TOMORROW? SHT! MAGPAGANDA KA!" She sounded like a high school girl
"I don't need to do that. Baka isipin nya pinag handaan ko pa sya."
"If you say so. Pero wag mo ako sisisihin sa huli ah." I just shrugged in what she said
