(F/N) reread the document pulled up on her laptop, eyeing the page carefully. This was the third paper this week she'd have to turn in, the third time she'd stressed over a document that was worth 25% of her grade, and the third time she'd rain-checked her boyfriend when he'd asked to hang out with her.
High school wasn't the end of the world right? So why did it feel like it. (F/N) leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes in hopes of quelling the lingering headache. All hopes of finding peace were dashed in front of her as the annoyingly loud ringtone of her phone went off. She'd grab the phone off her desk, clicking the glowing green button and bringing it to her ear.
"This better be good Jaeger," (F/N) grumbled out.
"Dude, did you and Levi break up or something?" Eren spoke from the other end of the line.
"No? Why, did he say something to you about me?" She'd replied, sitting up to focus on what her friend had to say next. A million things were racing through her mind.
"He didn't say anything, but Petra has been hanging around him more often. Like more often than normal. I saw them leaving the coffee shop by school not too long ago." Now this was slightly alarming, but (F/N) knew Levi. He was probably just in a project group with her and their other friends. It wasn't uncommon for him to study with that bunch, especially when (F/N) was busy doing something else.
"They hang around each other Eren, they've been friends for a while so I don't think it's something we need to be worried about," She replied, trying to calm her wild thought down. What if he was doing more than just hanging out with Petra?
"When was the last time you guys hung out?" She could feel the growing fury through the phone.
"I don't know, maybe early last week? We see each other at school all the time though so it's not like I've been no contact with him this entire time," She'd replied. It was true, they'd eat lunch together most days and had one class together so they'd seen each other.
"I think you should call him," Eren basically ordered. Before (F/N) could protest, the line when dead and she was left with a growing headache and some very unpleasant feelings growing in her mind. Levi was a good guy, Petra is just a girl in his friend group, there is nothing to worry about. (F/N) scrolled through her contacts, clicking on her boyfriends contact info before pressing the call button.
Ring!
Ring!
Rin-
"The number you are trying to reach is unavailable and has not set up an answering machine. Please leave a message after the bee-" (F/N) hung up the phone quickly.
"Alright, he's probably just busy," With her.
"There's nothing to worry about," It only rang three times.
"I'm sure I'll see him tomorrow at school," He sent you to voicemail.

The next morning, (F/N) rushed through the halls towards Levi's locker. She couldn't help but let nasty thoughts overwhelm her the previous night. Why had he sent her to voicemail? Why was he with Petra yesterday? Was he still with her when (F/N) called? All these thoughts swirled in her head as she rounded the last corner.
She'd finally caught sight of his dark hair in the crowd. As she'd went to call out to him, feeling all giddy, she was silenced by a mop of strawberry-blonde hair quickly coming up beside him. The girl placed a dainty hand on the back of Levi's arm, smiling brightly as Levi turned to greet her.
"Shall we head to class?" Petra spoke, voice laced with silk. Levi nodded, shutting his locked and heading off in the other direction. (F/N) watched as Petra left her little hand on the back of Levi's arm. She watched as Levi allowed her to hold his arm as they walked side by side to class. She felt like her heart had sunk into the pit of her stomach.
"They're just friends walking to class, it's fine."

(F/N) finally met Levi during lunch. However, instead of sitting alone, Levi had led her to a table with all his friends, including Petra. (F/N) was familiar with all of them, having dated Levi for nearly a year.
"I still can't believe we won yesterday," Eld spoke, earning some laughs from around the table.
"Right! I meant to ask how the game went, sorry I couldn't make it." Petra apologized, perking up at the mention of her friends game. Eld continued to explain the highlights of yesterday's basketball game.
"You didn't go to watch Levi?" (F/N) asked quietly as to not disturb the rest of the group. Levi glanced at her before shaking his head.
"I didn't feel like watching a bunch of sweaty boys run into each other, so I went home." Levi explained. Before she could stop herself, (F/N) blurted out another question.
"Did you do anything after school yesterday?"
"No, I asked if you wanted to go out but you had that paper due. Honestly (F/N), try to work on managing your time better so you don't leave important papers for the last minute." Levi advised.
"I didn't leave all of it for the last minute-"
"You shouldn't leave any of it unfinished until the day it's due. Maybe then you wouldn't be so stressed and skip out on plans," (F/N) furrowed her brows at him, growing more frustrated and hurt as the conversation went on.
"I'm sorry that I care about doing my school work-"
"Obviously not enough if you keep procrastinating all of your work-"
"Hey, you two doing alright down there?" Petra asked from the other end of the table. The rest of the group looking down as you and Levi glared at each other. You exhaled sharply through your nose before standing.
"It's whatever, I need to get to class anyways," (F/N) spoke, hopping out of her seat and leaving.

"What the fuck is up with your cousin?" (F/N) was fuming as she sat with a certain ravenette and her boyfriend in the coffee shop by her school.
"I wouldn't know, we don't talk often," Mikasa replied, taking a slow sip of her hot chocolate.
"He's a jackass, always has been," Eren grumbled, leaning his cheek against one of his fists.
"Like why was he one my case about the whole school thing? I finished the fucking papers so why did it matter?" (F/N) complained before her mind wandered to his friendship with Petra.
"-and what was that with Petra? What kind of boyfriend basically escorts another girl by the arm to class? And why did he lie about being with her yesterday?" (F/N) brought up both hands to rub at her temple. Regardless of how angry she was at him, this was still a boy she's know for years. He'd never do something to hurt her. He'd never betray her trust, right?
"Why don't we head to my house? Uncle Kenny is out and Levi should be home. I think you two need to talk this out in person," Mikasa suggested. Eren nodded.
"Yeah, and Mikasa and I can still around the house for moral support if you need us," Eren spoke, causing Mikasa to nod in agreement.
"Alright.. yeah, you guys are probably right."

The walk back to the Ackerman household was long and dreadful. Every step (F/N) took towards the house, she'd couldn't help but feel more and more anxious. Maybe Levi was right. She basically been ignoring him outside of school for the past week in favor of doing homework alone. He just missed spending time with her.
With a new outlook on their little argument earlier, (F/N) trudged up the stairs towards Levi's room. She'd waved down towards Eren and Mikasa, smiling as she continued down the hall towards Levi's room. Once at the door, she turned the knob and opened it with a soft smile on her lips.
"Hey Levi, I was..." (F/N) immediately went silent as she watched Levi and Petra sat at the foot of his bed, kissing. At the sound of (F/N)'s voice, Levi pushed the strawberry-blonde to the side. He's stood up quickly, looking at (F/N) with wide eyes.
"(F/N)- just wait a second-"
She'd wanted to scream at him. Wanted to berate him for what he had just done. She wanted to fight them both, freak out and cry hysterically.
Instead, (F/N) turned on her heels and walked towards the stairs. Levi followed, walking a bit faster to keep pace with her. (F/N) just continued on down the stairs, walking past her very confused friends.
"Just listen to me (F/N)-" Levi grabbed her wrist, causing the (h/c) girl to turn around and slap him harshly across the face. This caused Eren and Mikasa to stand up quickly, getting between the two lovers.
"Hey, take it easy. What happened?" Eren asked, staring confused.
"Why don't you go ask the bitch upstairs!" (F/N) screamed. It was growing harder and harder to stop herself from crying right there in the living room. Eren and Mikasa shared a look, before staring down Levi harshly.
"Come one (F/N), we'll drive you home."
