"The Knock"
You: "What the hell.. Its already 12am ....what the fuck's taking him so long!!!!"
You cant help it but to go to your room and take your phone to call him.
His number has always been out of reach.
So you thought of calling his bestfriend, maybe he's with him.
But just as you were about to hit the call button.
Someone came knocking on the door..
You were already mad at your husband for coming home late then theres that knocking on your door that seems to irritate you more, you lower your arm and turned into the door with a sharp gaze.
"WHO IS IT!!!!?"
You screamed fiercely.
"Jagiya... Open the door please..I'm so sorry for running home late. There were things i need to----"
"SHUTTHEFUCKUP!!# DONT YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS!? I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU LIKE----"
"jagiya.. please.. I'm so sorry. Please, let me in, can we talk when I get inside? Please. I'm so cold.. Please. Let me in."
You snorted angrily as you heard him pleading with a shivering fading voice.
It was snowing outside and its late night so, it must be really freaking really cold outside.
"Tsss.."
you clicked your tongue while staring at the door..
"Ja...gi...ya.. please. Open.....the door? I'm so sorry pl....p...please. Let me come in.. i need you right now.."
You felt pity hearing him plead as he knocked the door in a hurry..
"Jagiya...?"

"Ja...jagiya? Please..."
You crossed your arms as you smirked looking at the door, having fun of listening to him plead as a revenge for making you wait.
"Okay...I...I understand. I'm going home now.. I love you. Please take care.Yeongseohe. I am very sorry my love."
Then the knocking stopped.
You finally given up and felt mercy towards him knocking outside.
"You are so going to regret this when you came inside...FINE!! Wait.. I'm opening the door." you murmured.
You held the cold door knob and twisted it. Then a bit of a blizzard came in, so you shivered.
You opened the door widely and stood while crossing your hand infront of you.
"Alright get inside..."
but when you opened the door.
No one's there.
You called him so many times, but no one's answering.
You finally went out and run outside, despite of you only wearing your pjs, you run into your frontyard and called him again.
Foggy breath came outside of your mouth as you called him. Rubbing your arms to keep u warm.
You saw a guy walking across your home. You aked him.
"Hey... hey.. have you seen a guy---*you describing him* who just came here or might rode a cab just like a minute ago????" you shivered.
But the stranger just shook his head and said he saw nobody even before he was walking this way.
You sighed. "Uh.. okay. Thank you."
Then the guy walked away.
"____„WHERE ARE YOU????"
u talked to urself.
You felt the snow has been falling on you and you already felt the chill. You went inside and about to call him.
But your phone was already ringing inside.
You rushed to it and looked at it.
"Huh??? *His bestfriend* ???"
It has 9 consecutive missed calls and in a second, it rang for the last time..
You quickly answered it.
"Yoboseo?? Oh *his bestie*, whats with the--"
"Y/N!!!...."
you flinched as you heard him crying on the other side of the line.
"Hey.....HEy... Wh--whats happening? Why are---"
But he cut you with his crying.
"HEY!! WHY ARE YOU CRYING!? SPILL IT OUT!? ARE YOU WITH *Your Bias*? Is he okay?? Where are you??"
But he didnt seem to answer, all you could hear is him crying and talking with somebody and you heard him screaming in pain.
"NO!!! NOO!!! DOCTOR!!! PLEASE!! SHIT! THIS IS NOT---THIS IS NOT REAL!!! NO! ______!!!! BRo!! Dont leave me bro!!!"
then the call ended.
You were left shocked as you still froze with your hand holding your phone in your ear. You were confused on why he is crying and screaming.
A tear fell into your eyes. And your mouth dropped hang open..
Suddenly your phone rang.
It's his bestfriend again.
You clumsily took your phone that it almost fell to the ground just to answer it.
You became speechless.
"Come to the hospital Y/n... Please.I dont know how to say this" his voice is cracking.
Then. *beep*. The call ended.

A few moments later you arrived at the hospital.
You froze as you stepped inside and breathed hard before walking.
"This is not what I think it is.. This is ot what I think it is..."
You spoke to your mind.
You saw his bestfriend all bloody and leaning to the wall looking shock and devastated.
You run towards him and shake him.
"_____!!! Where is he!!??? Where is my HUSBAND!?..."
You almost screamed while clenching his polo.
"WHERE IS HE!?!?! WHY ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING ME!?!!!"
You cried screaming.
His bestfriend shook his head and tears coming out of his eyes as he slowly raise his hand pointing to a room across you.
You slowly turned to it,
He's pointing the emergency room.
You ran inside but the nurses stopped you from coming in, you pushed yourself but youve been pushed outside.
His bestfriend hugged you tight..
"Please Y/n... Please calm down... Please. He will be fine. He will be---Y/n!? Y/n!?"
his voice seems to fade in disortion and so as your vision, until everything went black.

You woke up in the waiting area sleeping in the benches. You quickly rose and turn your head anywhere searching for his bestfriend.
You saw his bestfriend talking to the doctor, you saw his face becoming gloomy and devastated. The doctor tapped him. He noticed you looking at them and so as the doctor turn to you.
The doctor talked to him for the last time and he nodded.
You looked at them in confusion.
The doctor went to you.
But your sight was behind the doctor, his bestfriend punching the wall and cried as he breaksdown pulling his hair back.
Crying.
And screaming.
You felt scared.
Tears starting to come out from your eyes too.
"Are you the patient's wife?" the doctor took your attention.
You nodded.
The doctor sighed and held your hand.
"Darling, your husband was strong but seems he didnt make it, the operation. We did everything but---"
You covered your mouth with your hand and starting to shake your head in disbelief..
"No......no.... he just... he just.. came home like a while ago! Its impossible---"
Then a flashback strikes your mind.
Him: "Okay...I...I understand. I'm going home now.. I love you. Please take care.Yeongseohe. I am very sorry my love."

Upon remembing his last words, you brokedown into your knees and dropped your head like the whole world came crashing down on u.
"He is a dear friend. And a loving husband too. Atleast he is now going into a better place... please..Y/n. We have to accept it."
His bestfriend held you up. You were lifeless, just like the person who had your heart has been taken away from you.
You called his name weakly in the wind as your tears falling into the the ground.
"I should've opened the door...."

You were a widow for 70 long years, leaving alone.
Without him.
You tried to replace him but your heart has been buried along with him.
You wanna forget him but all these years, the more you wanna forget him the more he is coming back in your mind.
You still love him.
You still have him.
Inside your heart.
You were now old. Has a soggy skin, grey hair, sitting in a rocking chair.
Waiting for the moment that you'll finally met him...
You were on your chair, holding your last photo together.
Looking at the sunset. Waiting for your time to come.
Humming the song that when you and him first met and the song that become the theme song for your wedding. And what he sang to you whenever your mad.
You miss those days.
Those youthful days, when you two were wild, and crazily inlove with each other.
Memories from your past might slowly be disappearing in your head because of your age.
But his lovely face still be shining and clear as you could still feel his embrace.
You looked at your photo together, kissed it and hugged closer to your heart.
Looking at the sunset from your window.
You closed your eyes.

"Oh how I really missed you my love, its been so long I've been waiting for the moment that I'm going to meet you again. You were always been my love. Always and always be. I love you. We should've grew old together and watch the beautiful sunset.

Tears starting to comes out from the old woman's eyes.
Suddenly there's a knocking on the door that interfered the moment.
She wiped her tears with her wrinkled hand and slowly stood up from her chair.
"Never I had a visitor for such a long time..who could that be?"
Then you slowly and carefully walked to the door.
But suddenly...
You felt a pain in your chest. You clenched your chest as you hardly breath.
"My....my... time has finally come...*breaths hardly*, I am going to finally meet you my love."
The knocking on the door is still knocking, but your vision becoming blurry.
You fell into you knees and held the head of the sofa.
You were breathing harder and harder.

You whispered his name.
Your senses were slowly coming off, and for the last momentthe knocking on the door is the last thing you heard.
Then everything disappeared.

You were awakaned by a loud thudding on the door, you looked at your watch and saw its 12am.
"A dream??" you held your head, sit up and looked at the door.
"*his name*???" you called.
"JAGIYA!!! JAGIYA!! ITS FREEZING HERE.. IM SO SORRY I CAME HOME LATE. PLEASE LET ME IN.. IM SORRY....ILL EXPLAIN INSIDE.."
As your husband seems to scream his lungs out, shivering outside.
You run to the door opened it.
His figure surprised you upon opening it. Covered with snow.
It was him, bringing balloons, box of cake, him wearing a shirt that has written:"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MY MRS. _____…"
He smiled nervously as the snow has been powedering all over his face.
"SURPRISEEEEE!!!! I LOVE HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!.....andsorryifimveryverylate.... I will sleep in the living room right? Okay. Ill be sleeping in the living room."
he pouted.
You looked at him in surprise and you just cant help it but to hug him quickly.
"PABO!!! PABO!!! PABO!!"
as you cried burying your head deeply into his chest.
His expression seems confused and shocked seeing you suddenly run crying at him.
"Jagiya... Ive been busy and I rushed to---"
You cut him off with a kiss and he passionately kisses you back.
While holding a box of cake and the balloons, he still wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you closer to him.
You suddenly parted away.
You:"Never.....leave....my side...understand? I dont knw what am I without you!" *tears falling*
Him: *wiped ur tears with his thumb* "Jagiya..why...why are you crying.. You know that I dnt wanna see you cry right??? i'm just late. Hehehe. I will never leave you. Never.."
You:"I love you...."
Him: "nado Saranghe... Grow old with me, Mrs. _____…?"
You: "YES.... I WILL GROW OLD WITH YOU...."
He hugged you tightly and kissed yiur forehead.
Him:"Like our vow. Till death do us part..I'm so happy that youre mine."
He held your chin up and softly land his lips into yours.
Then he hugged you tight, but you squirmed.
You: "Jagi.. not too tight."
Him: "SORRY..Did I hurt you?"
You: "No, but the baby might be hurt.."
Him:"whoa... wait... wait.. did. did. I just....heard...baby??"
You: "Youre going to be a dad...thats why I waited for you this long just to tell you this surprise.......SuRPriSe!!"
His jaw dropped after hearing what you just said, his shocked face slowly turns into a big smiled and continued planting kisses on you.
Him: "I will take care of you more and more and more especially now that we're a family. I love you Jagiya.."
He kneeled down and kissed your tummy.
Him: "And you too Little Man...Girl....Man...Girl...Uhh whatever.. I will take care both of you until you will come out into this world... Do daddy a favor???
Dont hurt mommy okay??l? I love you both."
He hugged and kiss you both again while kneeling down at the same time you hugging him back.
