You see Nora is my little sister. She stayed in Denver with my dad, but the longer I stayed there the worse I would got. You see my Mom and Dad fighting and getting their divorce during the time i went to rehab didn't help with anything. Crying got worse, body got weaker and mind became infested. Thinking about this stuff again was destroying me but Nora was always there.
My life wasn't ideal but there is no one in the world can say theirs is either. Ups and down are usual right?
Lost in my train of thought I sat at the dinner table while Mom and Nora talked about school work and ' twelve year old problems' like what the hell can be so hard in her life?
"Hey, I heard that!" Nora said looking at me with her eyebrows knitted together.
Oops I had done it again. I had spoke my thoughts it had become a bad habit lately. Yesterday I did with Tom and now I'm doing it again. "Shake it off Holland, Shake it off." I kept telling telling myself, I needed to calm down.
" Um, i have to go, I mean please can I go?" I asked Mom.
"Are you okay Hols?" Nora asked looking a little concerned.
"Uh yeah I just need to do something," I said standing up from my chair.
"okay dear, don't forget to feed Petunia," Mom said taking a sip of her 2010 aged Wine.
With that I walked away. 'Stupid Cat' I muttered under my breath.
I got in to my room and sat down with my back resting against the wall and ran my hand trough my hair. Why did life have to be so complicated?
I picked up my phone and dialed Tom's number.

"Holland?" he said very tiredly.
