Why Now?

This is what happened when i knew that somebody close to me died.

Why now? It was a perfectly satisfying morning. Why now? We were going to have an amazing day. Why now? Why did you have to leave us now? Why did you have to go to a more heavenly place? Why didn't you wait for us? Why now?

It was a normal day, we were going to the mountain. I woke up and did the morning routine. We were standing in front of the car waiting for my father to take us to the mountain when he came his head dangling low. "I have some bad news..." Said he. It couldn't be that bad on such a beautiful morning? "What is it?" Questioned mom. "Imad he... H-he died, a car crash, yesterday while he was coming back from his graduation party..." He said all in one breath. What?! No! No! No! No way! No way! Imad? MY Imad?! My one and only cousin? IMAD!?!

"I-imad a-as in t-the son of N-nicolas? M-my c-c-cousin?!" I stammered scared of the answer. "Unfortunately yes..." My father replied in a low voice. And that was it. That was all i needed to go into a trans. I forgot the world around me. I forgot my weeping brother, my shocked mother, and my sad father.

Imad... Imad... H-he was only 18! He s-still had his l-life infront of him! Imad... My sweet, loving, caring cousin. Why? A car crash?! That was how his perfect life would end?! A CAR CRASH?!?! A CAR CRASH!!!!!!!!!

I stated shaking my head violently hoping that what i heard would go away. But all it did was causing my mom to panic. I just stopped shaking my head and dropped to the floor sobbing hard - oh so hard - that i couldn't even breath. I kept repeating the same words:" why now? Why now imad? Why now?!"..........
