(Liv's POV)
"Shep!" I shouted, running around Jamie, but quickly getting stopped by him
He grabbed my arm and softly pulled me back. He no longer looked amused, but rather upset
His dark blonde brows were frowned, while his lips remained stuck straight
"James?" Megan asked, taking a step forwards
"What's wrong?" I asked him, trying to catch his hazel eyes, to give me some hint as to what was the matter.
"James?" Megan asked again, walking towards her husband and grabbing onto his other hand that wasn't wrapped around mine. He swiftly avoided her claws and turned to get my attention, which of course he already had.
"Don't run...you could slip and fall and hurt the baby" he spoke, not look at me but as Shepley
"Baby?" Shep asked, taking a step forward barring his eyes into mine
"Yes, my baby" Jamie spoke, pulling me back just a little, so that I stood right at his side
"Our baby" Megan sounded both pissed and uncomfortable
"Olivia?" Shepley asked
Uh-oh. He was angry. Shepley never called me by my full first name
When I looked up at him, I saw the same confusion in his eyes that Emily had
"Liv...you're pregnant?" Emily asked, walking over to me and resting her small hand over my belly "with uncle Jamie's baby?" She was looking at me wide eyed
I turned my attention to the sweet girl that managed to steal my heart. Just as I was about to answer her, Megan's venomous words filled the room
"Emily! Go to your room! The adults are talking!" She spoke in a voice so low, that I though she would pounce on Emily if she didn't listen
The curly haired beauty opened her mouth to protest, but I fell down on my knees. I felt Jamie's fingers slowly release my arm. I grabbed Emily's shoulders and turned her small fragile body in my direction
"Go. We will talk later" I promised her, leaning over to kiss her soft smooth cheek
Emily nodded and walked past Megan, making sure to 'trip' and land gracefully with her foot right on top of Megan's
The blonde woman almost pushed her away in front of everyone, but contained herself as the little girl apologized insincerely
I watched her walk away, waiting for her to disappear, before returning my attention to my oldest friend
"Olivia?" Shepley asked again
Shit. He was really angry
I looked back at the married couple and excused myself and Shep
I hadn't made it to the drive way, before Shepley grabbed my arm and spun me around
"What the hell is this about a baby?" He nearly shouted
"Shep, I don't want to talk about it rig-"
"You-you don't want to talk about it? He chuckled dryly "the fuck you don't. Start speaking, before I-"
I reached up and smacked the back of his head. He quickly closed his mouth and just looked down at me
"Sorry." He said, looking down at his feet. "But you have to understand. I don't see you all today, you don't take my calls, and then your aunt and uncle come home arguing about you, and something about a baby, I was just worried. You can't blame me" he sounded full of anguish
It wasn't fair. None of this was fair. Not for me, not for Shepley, not for Jamie, and certainly not for this baby
"I'm so sorry. But it's a long story, that I will explain to you, but first you need to explain to me how you managed to find me?" I asked, walking over to a grassy area, next to a palm tree in front of Jamie's house
Shepley looked down at me for a good couple of minutes and then he sat next to me. He crossed his legs in front of himself and placed each hand on either knee. He took a good deep breath and tried to smile, the same smile he smiled when he was trying to comfort me, or trying to keep something from me
"Your aunt sent me. She said that you would probably need me"
"Tania sent you? Really?" I asked
Maybe she wasn't as angry as she made herself out to be. Maybe she was just saying and doing everything that she said and did to ease my uncle's anger. Maybe she would let me move back after a while had passed. Maybe she just did what she did, to make sure my uncle didn't take his anger out on her. Maybe this was all just an act, an act that she played to perfection
"Honey, no." Shepley said, reading my eyes. "She was really upset and told me to tell you that you needed to go back this weekend and get the rest of your things or they would throw it all out." his voice died down at he finished his sentence and with it, died any hope of my aunt ever wanting me back.
She really did choose him over me. She decided that a man...was more important than me.
"I begged for her to explain to me what was going on, but she just told me that you were with some guy...a teacher named James Valentine. I searched his name and found his address."
"Did she say anything else?" I asked, hopping for him to tell me anything that might hint towards a reconciliation.
"Liv, tell me what's going on...maybe I can help? Are you really pregnant?" he asked, ignoring my question and reaching out for my hand.
I opened my mouth to speak, but was interrupted my the front door, opening and closing.
"Olivia, come inside or your going to get sick. You two can talk inside or your friend can come back tomorrow." Jamie said, grabbing both our attention.
"Its not even cold out. I'll be in once we are done tal-"
"No. He's right. You're going to get sick. It's best if you go inside. I'll leave on the condition that tomorrow we see each other and you explain to me what the hell is going on." he spoke as he got up to his feet, pulling me along with him, holding on to my hands.
"You really don't have to go." I said, hoping just a little that he would so that I didn't have to go into the house and deal with Megan who for sure would be wearing her infamous frown.
"No...I think I should. But I'll text you." he said, reaching down and wrapping his arms around me.
"Thanks Shep." I smiled, as his warm arms embraced me.
"No thanks needed Liv." he pulled away smiling the same smile that made me believe everything would be alright.
When he let go of me, I felt a sudden tightness in my chest that I wasn't accustomed too.
"Call me whenever you want and I'll come pick you up. Okay?" he asked, never leaving my eyes.
"Don't worry...I'll make sure she has everything she needs to be completely comfortable. After all, this is Liv's new home. Anything she wants is hers." Jamie said, appearing next to me. His hand resting on the small of my back.
Shepley ignored him and kept his eyes locked with mine.
"Okay?" he asked again
I smiled and nodded my head.
"Okay." I replied, knowing he would need verbal confirmation.
Shep nodded his head and took a step back, then another, and another. Then he turned away completely and walking away. As he disappeared around the corner, I remembered why it was that I loved him so much.
He understood when to give me space, something not a lot knew how to do.
"Come on Liv, its cold." Jamie said, pulling me softly towards the front door of 'my new home'

I hope everyone enjoyed. I'm sorry its been so long since I've updated. I'm going to try and update more often. I want you all to know that I changed my actor for Jamie to Jensen Ackles.
