Strayed ( A case of a child abused)
Wandering down this broken path
Passing by brightly lit homes
No skin laid unscathed
Shuffling with a broken bone
Running from my capture
He ruled my once safe home
I strayed on this unfamiliar track
No destination or aim to follow
His grips terrifies me
The bruises and lashes I hold
His belt branded me
Leaving me with no emotions to show
How should I bury?
The memories that I carry…
How should I forget?
The face of the monster that stares
Dragging my crumpled body
Hoping for someone to show
Please take mercy
On this pitifully tortured soul…..
