I woke up to the sound of my alarm, i hit snooze and looked at the time
6:15 AM
i groaned but then i realized IT WAS THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER BREAK.
I sat up and deleted all the alarms i set for school then i layed back in my bed
I drifted off to sleep again till a few hours later someone was shaking me
" Come on get up Skylar, Skylar wake up!, Skylar come on"
I groaned and ignored whoever was shaking me
" Fine if you won't get up, i have no choice but to do this" they said
They ripped off my covers and started tickling me
" HAHAHAHA OH M- HAHA STOOOPPP HAHAHA OKAY OKAY I'M UP"
I sat up on my bed and there stood Cody Simpson in my room
" I didn't lock my balcony door did i? " i said
He smirked " haha nope, you said you wouldn't "
Cody and I have been friends for a few years now and we're pretty close. I trust him with everything and my family is close with his family.
"Is there a reason why you woke me up from my beauty sleep?" i asked laughing lightly
" You're already beautiful though" Cody said
" But yeah there is a important reason....... I'M BORED" he added
" Fine, i'll get up. just let me get ready first" i said
I got some clothes and went to the washroom and got ready. I put on a teal tank top and white shorts. i applyed some waterproof mascara, face powder and lip balm. then i brused my teeth and i was ready.I came back to my room
" Can we do something now?" cody said
" Sure" i said
we went downstairs and i found my mom in the kitchen
" Mom, is it okay if i stay out with Cody for a few hours? " i asked grabbing a granola bar and eating it
" Sure honey, have fun. Just take your keys because me and your Dad might be heading out and remember Brandon isn't here" she said
*** Brandon is my older brother he's 17 so he's only 2 years older then me and he's pretty close with Cody. The only reason why he isn't here right now is because he got good grades on his last report card so he got to go to Toronto with his best friends for summer vacation. He's coming back some time in August**
"Okay thanks mom love you" i said grabbing my keys and putting them in my bag
" Love you too! Bye Cody, take care of her"
" I will, Bye Mrs.Thompson"
I slipped on my black toms and Cody and I headed out the door
" So what do you want to do now Simpson?" i asked
" I don't know, we can just walk around" he answered
" Sure" i said
We walked around and talked for a few hours till he said
" Let's go back to my house."
i nodded and we walked back
We went back to his house but before he opened the door
" Skylar, can i ask you something?" Cody asked
" Sure anything" i said biting my lip
He opened his mouth to say something but then hesitated.
" umm, what time is it?" he asked nervously
I noticed that he hesitated. He's been hesitating a lot actually but it didn't really bother me
" um it's 2:47 pm" i answered
" Oh okay we have plenty of time to do more stuff" he said
He opened the door to his house and we went inside. i said hi to Angie and Brad and they said hello to me with a smile on their face. Then me and Cody went into his room
" Haha my parents love it when you're here, they really like you"
" i like your parents too" i said with a smile
We sat down in his room
" I'll be right back, i'm going to get something to eat. Do you want anything?" he asked
" No thanks i'm fine" i said
Then he left the room
I was scrolling through twitter on my Iphone till someone came into Cody's room
" Boo" they said
I looked up
" Hey Alli"
" Hey, Do you want to go to the Mall tomorrow?" she asked
" Sure, that'll be fun"
" Can you come to my room for a sec?" Alli said
She stood up and i followed her into her room
" Skylar, has Cody been acting weird lately?"
" Sort of, He always wants to ask me something but he always hesitates and he's been hugging me a lot lately" i said
" Well that's bec-"
" Hey guys, what are you talking about?" Cody said hugging me from behind and cutting Alli off
" Nothing, Do you want to come to the mall with us tomorrow?" Alli asked
" Nah, maybe next time. I need to start working on a new song" Cody said
" Oh ok" Alli said
Cody still had his arms around me but i didn't say anything because i kind of liked it
Eventually Cody let go of me and said
" I think i'm going to be heading back to my room."
Then he walked away
Alli stood up and closed the door. she came back and sat down
" Wow that boy likes youuu" she said
I fely my cheeks heat up " He does not" i said
" Skylar you're blushing right now haha i think you like him too"
" Yeah i do like him, but not in that way Alli"
" Mhmm, then why didn't you say anything about his long hug?" she asked with one of her eyebrows up
" I didn't want to be rude? " i said biting my lip
" You soooo like him!!" Alli said
" Maybe i do" i said back
" Awwww!" Allie cooed
" Shut uppp" i said throwing a pillow at her
" He doesn't like me like that anyway"
" UH YES HE DOES!" Alli said basically shouting
" how do you know?" i asked
" HE TOLD ME!"
" oh " i said nervously
" I don't want to tell him yet though" i added
" i understand, but when you two get married i want to be the maid of honor" Alli said laughing
" hahahaha, slow down there Alli"
we talked a bit more and then watched a few movies
it got late so after watching our 3rd movie in a row i left.
I got home and found a note on the counter
" Dinner is in the Oven. Be back soon xox - mom"
I went to the oven and got my dinner and ate it in front of the tv. It's so quiet without Brandon here i thought. After i finished my dinner, i took a shower then went on my laptop
It was quiet till i heard some leaves move and a knock on my balcony door which scared me. I looked over and there stood Cody, I motioned him to come in since the door was unlocked
" Hey" he said coming in
" Hey" i said back
" Can i talk to you about something?" he said
" Sure" i said closing my laptop
" Well after you left, Alli came into my room and told me that-" I got really nervous on what he was about to say so i bit my lip and he stopped talking
" Damnit thompson" he said
" What?" i said confused and laughing lightly
" Stop doing that"
" stop doing what?" i asked still confused and biting my lip
" THAT! biting your lip" he said half shouting
i gave a confused look
He took my hand and lightly pulled me closer to him and wrapping his arms around me
" Your lip bites drive me crazy, you look so cute when you bite your lip" he said softly
My heart was beating faster than usual
" Skylar, i like you ok, i like you A LOT. I've always wanted to tell you but i didn't have the balls to until now" he said
" i like you too Cody" i said softly
he smiled
"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked
" Yes" i replied
Just as he was about to Kiss my cheek, i moved my head and he crashed his lips into mine.
We both blushed
I'll talk to you tomorrow ok? he said while loosening his grip.
" Alright. good night" i said as i kissed his cheek
He walked over to my balcony and went over to his balcony right beside mine
I closed the door and turned off the light. i slid into bed and i couldn't stop smiling
