"Crabstickz...?" Emma whispers. Chris laughs.
"Yupp, that's me.." Emma can't think of anything to say.
"Uhm...uhh..." She stutters. 'Oh my god Emma...what's wrong with you! Say something!' Emma thinks to herself. "Uhm, I've got a job interview...." She says. 'Oh god, Emma, why?...'
"You're a youtuber? How come I've never heard of you?" Chris sits down on a nearby couch and gestures for Emma to sit next to him. She sits down and crosses her legs.
"No, I'm not, but I've always wanted to be," Emma plays with the end of her skirt, she was so nervous. 'Am I really talking to Chris Kendall?'
'Don't mess this up Chris, you always freak when you're talking to a pretty girl...' Chris thought.
"Oh, what makes you want to be one? It is a hard job you know," Chris scratches at the back of his neck. He was never good at talking to girls, and this was no exception.
"I know it's a hard job, but I think it would be an amazing opportunity to show people the real me, and know that there are more than two people in this world that care about me..." Chris was in shock. That was one of the most real answers he had ever gotten during a job interview. Usually all people ever said were things like,
'I think it would be really fun,' or, 'I want to be famous...so yeah'.
Everything about this girl was perfect; the way her hair fell perfectly off her shoulders, framing her beautiful face. The way her lips were the perfect size, all Chris could think about was kissing them. He couldn't believe that he had just met this girl, it felt like he had known her for his whole life.
"Well, what a great answer," Chris stands, offering his hand and helping Emma off of the seat. "Oh, I forgot to ask, what is your name?"
"Emma,"
"Well, Emma, you got the job! I look forward to seeing you again soon," With that Chris walked away.
Emma stood in shock, for two main reasons. One, she had just gotten the job she had been dreaming of for as long as she could remember. Two, she had just let Chris Kendall walk away from her.
'I didn't even do anything cute...' she thinks, grabbing her purse off the floor and quickly walking towards the door.
'God, I'm so awkward...I should have told her that she was pretty...' Chris mumbles, closing his car door and starting his car. He slowly backs up.
Emma jams the key into the ignition and quickly puts the car in reverse and pulls out of the parking space. She turns and begins driving down the row of immoble cars.
Chris was always slow when driving, he was careful. Ever since he was a child he was deathly afraid of crashing. Before he knew it his car was ran into.
