Now I know this is short but I listened to the song 'what if' by Jason Derulo and it inspired this cute little oneshot. I know it's very short but sorry. Hope you enjoy x
What if?
"I'm scared," I whispered, "I've never felt like this before? I don't understand". I looked up towards her.
She smiled, "I know you're afraid baby," her delicate hands reached over to my face and pushed a golden curl behind my ear;Her touch sent shivers through my body,ricocheting through me. "But you know I'd never hurt you,right?..."
I nodded.
Its true. She wouldn't dream of hurting me,she cared too much.
"Look princess," she placed her hand gently underneath my chin and pulled my face up to hers.
I gazed into the eyes I had fell in love with.
She looked back at me,her warm hazel eyes serenaded me,I felt at home. Every fear I had felt before disappeared and I knew what I felt and there was nothing to be afraid of.
"Now listen," she whispered.
"I can't, tell the future? I can't tell you what will happen next? If I could I would. If I could promise you it will all be ok I'd promise you.. But would you want to know? I mean isn't that just the beauty of the world? We don't know what will happen?"
She gently placed a kiss onto my forehead and whispered "sometimes we just have to ask ourselves, baby" she paused and grabbed my hand. "..what if?"
