Chapter 5- Jealousy
*Dylans POV* I noticed a guy standing behind her. He had blonde hair. He was taller than me and
better looking than me. I couldn't compete with him. He and her were obviously on a date.
Jealousy filled my veins, pumping through my body. I was mad. I had known her for ten years and
had never been on a date with this girl while he had known her for less than a day and was already
spending a lot of time with her.... My Madi. All mine. Not his. 'Who's this?' He asked, jealousy
flooding his tone. I growled under my breath. 'Im Dylan.' I said, making sure he knew to back off.
I was intimidated but I was going to defend my honor. He stepped closer to me. 'And who are
you?' He asked, breathing onto my face. 'Madi's best friend from Ireland.' I said, stepping even
closer to him. His height was helping him intimidate me, with his body towering over mine,
making me feel small. 'Well I'm Niall- Madi's date.' He said, smirking at me. I wanted to slap that
grin right off of his face. *Madi's POV* I could tell they didn't like each other. The room reeked of
testosterone. I wanted to get in between them, but I couldn't move. I was paralyzed, helpless.....
*Nialls POV* He was getting on my nerves. He was trying to claim Madi as his, but she was
completely oblivious to the situation. That was good. 'You'd better back off buddy.' He whisper-
shouted at me. I just glared at him. He obviously liked Madi. But she was mine. We were on a
date, not them. 'No, I think you should back off.' I said, stepping even closer to him. He clenched
his fists, and I could tell he might throw a punch at me. I wasn't scared. I would take it. 'I think
you should go.' He shouted at me, raising his hands. I just stood there, looking at Madi. She was
so beautiful. She looked at me with fear in her eyes and I could tell we were scaring her. So I
decided to take a step back and let him throw the punches, not me.
