*Kirsten's POV*
"Kirsten, look what I got!" called my bestfriend, Emily.
Me and Emily have been bestfriends since we were 12, and when my parent's had passed, me and my brother, Austin, and little sister, Catrina went to live with her and her family. My parent's died 3 years ago in a plane accident coming home from London. They were visiting my relatives out there for an "Adult Getaway." When they were flying back, the plane's motor broke down and they crashed into the Pacific Ocean and I never saw my parent's again. It was hard at first but I got used to it. My parent's never really were around during my childhood or teen years anyways. So it's always been me, my brother, and sister. But shortly after my little sister, Catrina had died in a car accident. She was riding her bike home from her friend's just down the street, when a drunk driver hit her, and that ruined my life.
Me and my family lived in London till I was 12, that's when we moved to San Diego, California for my mom's job. My mom was an an actress, so was my father so they traveled a lot and made a lot of money. It was really sad leaving London. That's where my family and bestfriend live... Well, lived. My bestfriend moved away to go tryout for the hit singing show, X-Factor when he was 18, in 2010. He's now one of five of the hottest boyband known to the world. One Direction. His name is Louis. Louis Tomlinson. He was my bestfriend from kindergarten to 6th grade, and my only friend. I'm a very shy person so I don't really have to many friends but atleast I have Emily, she's better than having a lot of friends.
"What'd you get?" I called back.
"2 tickets to see the best singers of all time." Emily said.
"One Direction?" I asked, sarcastically.
"Oh my gosh, girl. You know it. And your coming with me." She replied.
"Okay." I said. When is it?"
"Saturday. Two days away." She replied.
"Okay." I said, walking down the stairs.
It had been such a long time since I had seen Louis. But he wouldn't be able to see me, forsure. There would be tons and tons of fans there and we won't have close seats.
"Austin!" I yelled.
"What?" He said, coming down the stairs with a burnt toaster struddle in his mouth.
"Now, I'm leaving for work. Be good and don't mess anything thing up. Do your chores by the time I get home and text me if you have anybody comeover. Bye, love you." I said, grabbing my keys and walking out the door.
"Okay!" He called back.
Austin is 15 and I'm sort of like a mother to him. Yeah, we have Emily's mom and dad that take care of him to but it's not the same because that's not his real family.
As I get in the car, I notice that I forgot to ask Emily if she had work today. She doesn't have a car and walking is horrible on the highway in San Diego. So I text her.
To- Em.<3
"Hey, I forgot to ask you if you worked today? Let me know soon, thanks!"
I'll just sit here and wait 5 more minutes.
Then, I hear the texting tone go off, so I look at my phone.
From- Em.<3
"Yeah, but not till noon, Jake's gonna take me but I may need a ride back? Please. I'll let you know."
To- Em.<3
"Mhk, thanks. That shouln't be a problem.(:"
And then I left for work. I work at Love Pink and Taco Bell, part time. Yep, Taco Bell. Great job for a 20 year old to be working out. I decided to wait to go to college so I could take care of Austin.
As I drive, I turn on the playlist called "One Direction.<3" and play my favorite song, "Everything About You." Everyone of the boys' solo just kill me in that song, it's so good. It make's me miss Louis. I remember after I moved, we still talked and texted till his X-Factor audition, he used to sing me "Look After You." by the Fray all the time. That was his favorite song.
Finally, I pull up to work (Love Pink) and work the whole day.

When I get off I have 3 texts and 1 missed call.
From- Em.<3
"Hey, found out that I do need picked up from work today, so on your way home, just come by and pick me up. Thanks."
From- Austin.(:
"Hey, I'm going to Nick's, be back sometime after dinner tonight."
From- Austin.(:
"Plans changed, Sarah's gonna comeover, okay?"
And one missed called from Austin.
Oh, Austin, him and his little girlfriend. Funny thing is, I've only had one boyfriend my entire life. I was a senior in highschool and his name was Cody. He was an amazing boyfriend till he moved away to Alaska to take over the family ski resort. Then, we lost touch. I remember the day before I found out I was moving, I got my first kiss. It was with Louis. A bestfriend kiss, that is. Oh gosh, I miss him so much.
I finally get to Emily's work, after 15 minutes of driving.
"How was work?" I ask, as she get's in.
"Good, thank gosh I don't have to go tomorrow. We can go pick out a cute outfit for the concert." She replies.
"Well." I said. "I have to work, tomorrow till 4."
"Kirsten, you think I didn't already talk to Barb, she's letting you have the next two days off." She says. I have connections." She whispers with a little giggle.
"Okay." I said, laughing.
The whole car ride home from then was filled with music.
I walk in the down to find a happy looking Austin and gorgeous looking Sarah.
I'm so jealous of Sara. She may only be a freshman but she is BY FAR the prettiest girl I have EVER seen.
"So I see you invited Sara over." I say. While Emily chuckles.
"Uh, yeah. I mean I didn't think it would be a problem." He said.
"It's not, don't worry." I say." Hi Sara."
"Hi Kirsten." Sara replied
"Austin, what about you go to your room, Tammy and John are going to be home anytime now." I suggest.
And they go up the stairs.
Just in time for Emily's mom to come home.
"Hi girls!" Tammy says.
"Hi!" We reply.
"What have you guys been doing?" She asks.
"Both, just got home from work." I say. "Long day."
"I bet." She said. "Kirsten, I got a call from your Uncle Paul in London today."
"Uncle Paul?" I ask. "I have an Uncle Paul?"
"Yes, he said that he wants to have custody over you and Austin." She says, very unhappily.
"But I'm 20, I don't have to go with him, do I? I don't even know the man and he wants to have custody over me and my brother?" I ask.
"No, no, no, sweetie, you don't have to if you don't want to, but I'm afraid your brother does. Your mother mentioned him before, seems like a nice man. With a lot of money." She says.
"What does it say on my mother and father's will? Yeah, money runs in the family, I guess. Means nothing to me. I can take care of myself and Austin, too." I reply.
"It says whoever steps in to take great care of you both can have you, but must be a family member or a really close family friend. Your right, darling but I'm sure you don't have enough to pay for a good enough lawyer to keep your brother here. Neither of us do." She states.
"Well, you guys take great care of us. And your a close family friend." I say.
"I don't think so, family beats friends. We'll talk about this some other time with your brother, okay?" She says.
"Okay." I reply. And me and Em go up the stairs.
I get in the shower for about 15 minutes, and then get dressed in Nike Dri Fit shorts and tank. After that, I go and lay down. I unlock my iPhone and see my wallpaper. Me and Catrina. I whisper, "I miss you, baby." and fall asleep.

When I wake I hear Emily getting ready in her room, next door.
"Em!" I call. "What time is it?"
"Noon, now get yo' big booty out of that bed before I come and push you off." She orders.
"Okay, okay. I'm getting up!" I say.
I take another shower. Get dressed in a white see through tank with a white cami. Red maleot shorts, and white vans. I straighten my long blonde hair and put on some makeup, eyeliner and mascara, and my red and black raybands, and go check on Em.
"You ready?" I ask.
"Yeah, let's go." She replies.
And we go get in my car and go to the mall.
"You excited?" I ask.
"Are you freakin' kidding me? Excited. I'm... W-wait... What's a word that means more than excited?" She asks.
"Asdfghjkl?" I ask.
"Yeah, that's what I'm looking for. I mean it's Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan. We're sitting so close we can touch them." She says.
"W-wait, hold up. How close?" I ask.
"1st row, duh. You think we'd sit far away?" She replied.
"So, like... Louis could maybe.. See me?" I asked.
"Uhm, sweetie, that's why I got them so close." She said with a big grin on her face.
"Ohmymy, you know me SO well." I said.
Emily nodded and then I turned on the radio.
When we got to the mall, we went strait to Forever 21. I picked out mint green shorts and a black lace crop top, for clothes. I then went to look at Jewerly. I found a gold heart long necklace, infinty gold braclet, and fake diamond ring. Then, for shoes. I get gold, sparkly sperrys, then go check on Emily.
I see Em has a hot pink strapless shirt with black matelot shorts for clothes. For jewerly, she has, a diamond long necklace, a faith braclet, and a flower ring. For shoes, she has black toms.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yes ma'am." She replied.
Then, we checked out.
