Pink. I hate pink, but because it's Valentine's Day, pink is EVERYWHERE is the frigging school. I can't go anywhere without seeing something pink, it's disgusting. I shook my head in disgust as I walked past a girl in the hall who was dressed in all pink. YUCK!

I hurried past another group of girls giggling over a rose that one of them had gotten and into my maths classroom. Our school loves Valentine's Day, the charity committee organise a delivery service every year, where people pre-order flowers or chocolates and they deliver them to the person on Valentine's day. They deliver throughout the entire day and that's the only good thing about it, because it interrupt the lessons and we can get away with minimum amount of work.

I slumped into my seat grumpily, causing Andy to raise his head from whatever book he was reading. He looked at me as I took out my textbook and stationary out with unnecessary force.

'Hey Julie, what's up.' He asked, he never remembered to call me Anna. Oh well, now that Aidan had apologised for that and allow me to call him Asshole Aidan (evil smile), I don't really mind anymore.

'I hate pink.' I simply stated, getting out my pencil and rubber. Andy laughed and glance around the room, which was fill with red and pink heart decorations, they even have little cherubs cut out hanging on the ceiling....ew!

Mr Gorffin (whom I like to call Mr Goblin behind his back, because he looked like a goblin) came in and as usual, no one paid attention to him. He was a substitute teacher, our original teacher is off sick for the past few weeks. He was also a terrible teacher.

'Anna Montrose?' I was deep in my own world and doodling on my maths book when someone called my name, I looked up and saw a freshman holding a bunch of roses next to me. 'Yes?' I replied and the kid shoved the roses in my arms before leaving. God, they are so rude these days.

The rest of class stared at me with interest, and didn't turn away until Mr Gorffin did one of his little cough to catch the class's attention (not that they were on him anyway). I felt people's eyes were still on me as took a card out of the roses.

Dear Anna,

I am Sorry for everything, I love you

Will

I stared at it for a while, tears pickering at the back of my eyes. I decided to shove the note in my bag. I was slowly getting over him and he just had to do this. Prick! I wiped the moisture off my face and tried to compose myself. I am good at composing myself, as long as no one interrupts me.

A few more people came to deliver roses to other members of the class, I was more than happy as the attention shift from me to the others, and the fact that Mr Gorffin is getting nowhere in his lessons. I caught Andy glanced at me a few times, I hoped he didn't see me half-crying.

If Andy saw my teary eyes, he didn't mentioned it, he actually walked me to my next class, which was extremely odd. He kept trying to say something, but nothing came out, he also kept looking around too.

'Okay, Andy, spit it out, what are you trying to say?' I asked when we reach the chemistry lab. He was stuttering a lot and all I caught was 'I...you...hope...like....day...ages.'

'I am sorry, what?' I asked, straining to hear the words coming out of his mouth, Andy blushed, stopped his incoherent string of words and took a deep breath. Just as he was about to speak, Aidan snunk up behind him and scared him by jumping on him.

'Jeus... oh, it's you.' Andy shouted in fright while Aidan laughed heartily slapping Andy's shoulder repeatedly. I can't helped but smiled a bit as well, Andy's face was priceless.

'I didn't know you take Chemistry.' Aidan said to Andy, who seemed to be suppressing the urge to hit Aidan and keeping his face neutral. A giggle escaped me and Andy gave me a defeated look before muttering a quick bye setting off to lesson.

Aidan looked a bit embarrassed as he watch Andy walk away, before returning to his normal self and steering me into the classroom. He saw the roses in my hand and smirked. 'So who send you roses?' He asked cockily, ' You didn't send those to yourself, I could have send you a few friendly ones if you asked.' He added, I rolled my eyes at him. He had been very teasing now that we are friends, he loves to make fun of me and my failure of a love life.

'I didn't send it to myself, and it's none of your business anyway.' I said to him coldly. 'If you want me to help you with your chemistry then you better keep that mouth of yours to yourself, or you will be failing again.'

He looked at me in horror, I gave him my evil smile. We kept at it for a while before both bursting into laughters. Whitney shot us some evil looks over her shoulder, but I didn't pay any attention to her. She should realise by now that Aidan and I aren't anything more than friends.

More people came in and out delivery roses and trinkets, I always wondered why can't they just deliver it all in one go, it's really annoying. I was measuring out some hydrochloric acid when someone tapped my shoulder and handed me a heart-shaped box of chocolate. Lindt.

My hands shot out and took it by themselves, I love chocolate too much. Aidan was watching me with interest, I gave him a flat look and he shrugged, returning to his work. I stole a glance at him using my peripheral vision to make sure he wasn't peeping before opening the card attached to it.

I scrowled at the card, the writing was familiar looking but I couldn't remember for the sake of it where I had seen it before. There was also no name in it, I turned it around and still, nothing. All it has on there was:

Thank you for being you

talk about creepy.

Aidan saw my face and burst out laughing, I glared at him before turning the card over again checking if I had miss anything. And no, it just said Thank you for being you. It would be kind of cute, if I knew who sent it (or not), but right now, it's just plain creepy and stalker-like.

'So who's it from.' Aidan dropped his pretense of I-don't-really-care-who-just-sent-Anna-chocolate and asked.

'It's none of your business, you just worry about Whitney over there.' I said, as Whitney looked over at us for the hundredth times that lesson, and her face just gets redder and redder. 'She didn't seemed to have gotten anything yet.' I added.

'What?' Aidan whispered-yelled, a face of panic as he saw the lack of flowers at Whitney's table. He even duck to check if she had put it on the floor. 'Damn this school and their super slow delivery!' He said, banging his head against the table lightly making me laugh.

'Tough luck.' I couldn't help but snigger, served him right for always teasing me. Soon enough the bell rang signaling end of lessons, I watched Aidan and Whitney's heated conversation for a while with the same interest look Aidan usually gave me before heading off to find Hannah.

Hannah had a giant banquet of roses from Oliver, they were heavily in love and I felt like I should wear sunglasses to prevent the abuses they were doing to my eyes. PDA should really be illegal. It also brought back the memory of the flowers that Will brought me on our one month anniversary, it brought a jibe of pain in my chest that I tried to ignore, determined to act like a supportive best friend that Hannah was to me.

After being treat like a body of air for five whole minutes by the love birds I decided to set off and find Alison instead, maybe I would have more luck. Unluckily for me, but luckily for Alison, she was busily engaged with a random Junior who seemed to have brought her one of the many roses she held in her hands, so I decided that I should leave them alone. It wouldn't be very nice to interrupt their flirting sessions now, would it?

My good mood from receiving gifts for the first time on Valentine's Day had deflected by then so I decided that it would be best to get some food to cheer myself up instead. Of course, Luke and Melissa were not there, Melissa told me yesterday that they were going to sneak off and celebrate their four years anniversary (so, so cute!), and Lizzy had been a bit MIA lately... So basically, I got to seat all alone on Valentine's Day.

After several moments of hesitation I walked out of the cafeteria with my lunch, it would just be embarrassing to eat all alone on my table in the cafeteria. I didn't want to raise attention to myself again, I had enough of that the past few months.

I would eat in the library, but sadly it wasn't allowed. So I ended up walking to the back of the school where there were some neglected benches that no one goes to, I used to read there in freshman year all the time to escape the crowd.

Grabbing Pride and Prejudice from my bag and tearing open my mayo chicken sandwich I settled snugly (as comfortable as one can get in 2 degrees Celsius) and happily. Just as I was about to take a bite while reading how Elizabeth Bennett was rejecting Mr Darcy, I heard footsteps and looked up to see Andy walking out of the back door of the school.

To say he looked surprise was the understatement of the century, I could have swore he jumped about a foot back from where he was. I nearly spewed the food from my mouth in laughters, it was a hilarious sight.

'What are you doing here?' Andy asked, stuttering a little and seemed frozen at his position. I tried to reply but thought better and swallowed my mouthful of sandwich first in case another near-spewing incident occurs.

'Eating my lunch.' I answered weaving the sandwich in my hand, Andy blushed a deep red and muttered something incoherent, I couldn't help but giggled some more, which seemed to brought Andy back from his trance.

'Sorry, I am just, going to go now.' He muttered and turned around. 'Wait!' I shouted, he paused, 'Come on, there are still plenty of space to sit, I don't bite.' I said, Andy stood for several seconds thinking over it before coming over to seat down beside me.

'What's up?' I asked him, taking another bite to my sandwich, which was getting cold. Andy opened his mouth, then closed it again, seemingly lost for words. I chuckled at him and we made some light conversation here and there while I ate my lunch. Then he spotted the box of chocolate I got in my bag.

'Did you get something?' He asked, peering curiously in my bag, his face falling slightly when he saw the roses next to the chocolate but it passed quickly. I frowned but then decided that it was nothing.

'Just some random weirdo.' I answered, picking up the card for him to see. 'I mean, it sounds kind of romantic, but also creepy. It's kind of stalker like to not leave your name, don't you think?'

Andy's face was definitely slightly green, he mumbled a yes and something about homework and ran off. I watched him disappeared into the school building as a thought occurred to me, but surely not.....

The story is finally getting towards the end :) I think most of you would have guessed it anyway. Don't know why Anna didn't :P
