Alexis
"How did this happen?", I thought as Keaira took the test from me. I can't be pregnant, I got dreams and a career to fill. I got school to complete, I can't be a mother yet.
"Alexis?" Keaira called, " Lex?"
"Huh?" I said as she handed me the test.
"You're gonna be a mom." She said
"I can't be a Mom, I still have school and basketball."
"Are you gonna tell Chris?" She asked
"I don't know how he will react."
"You better tell him. Chris is a good guy, Dion told me he has been in bad relationships."
"I don't know what to do."
"You gotta tell him regardless." She said
"I know. Come on." I said putting the test in my purse
We headed back to the house. Dion and Chris were playing the game.
"Hey bae." Chris said as I walked in the door
"Hey." I said
"What up Key?" He said
"Hey Chris." She said as she walked over to Dion
"You work tonight?" I asked him
"As of right now." He said looking at his phone and pausing the game, "Yeah."
"You get some rest?"
"Naw, been kicking it with D."
"Gonna be up texting me all night." I said taking off my shoes and taking them to the room. I don't know if I should tell him about me being pregnant. I then felt his arms wrap around my waist as he kissed my neck.
"What ya'll do today?" He said resting his head on my shoulder
"We just hung out, catching up with each other." I said
"Ya'll always catching up." He said
"That's my girl." I said turning to face him
"I know."
"I'ma take a shower." I said kissing him and walking away
"Can I join?" Chris asked
"Nasty asses.!!" Keaira shouted, me and Chris both fell out laughing
"No, not with them here. Plus you got work." I said running towards the bathroom
"Still ain't gonna stop me. You know you want this dick." He said pinning me on the door
"No, you want this." I said trying to escape his grip
"You right." He said kissing me
"Can you let me go? I need to shower."
"Sure thing." He said letting me go
"Thank you." I mumbled turning on the water and getting in the shower. After my shower, I put on my sweats and Melo Jersey. Keaira and Dion were still here, him and Chris were still playing the game.
"I'm loving that jersey but you need to get my baby JR." Keaira
"I'm good with Melo && Shump." I said going to the kitchen
"I heard Shumpert is good looking now
"He got a flat top and looks too good."
"Who he think he is? Kid and Play?"
"Shush. He's the boo."
"Thought Melo was?"
"He's my husband." I said laughing and pointing to my left ring finger
"That nigga knows nothing about you." She said laughing
"One day he will." I said to myself
"So what up with you and Chris?" She asked quietly, "Did you tell him?"
"No, not yet. I'm tryna find out how to tell him."
"Well you better tell him soon." She said giving me a look
How will I tell him I'm pregnant, but don't want to keep the baby? This is all a big mistake, this wasn't suppose to happen. 3 months ago I wasn't even in this position. If I wasn't in the path I was in already I would consider having a baby. I mean for goodness sake, the woman who was suppose to be my mom isn't and she is in a coma. My own father is out in the middle of Iraq fighting in wars and I'm finding out I'm pregnant. This is all too much for me, the stress, the lies, the pain. I feel like my life is falling apart.
"Yo Lex?" Chris said walking in the kitchen
"Huh?"
"You aight? You seem different." He said
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?"
"Well, Key and D in there having a makeout session on our couch and you in here doing whatever you was doing."
"I was thinking if I should make me a sandwich."
"Well I had an idea."
"What?"
"Lets go for a drive." He said
"Not with me looking like this." I said pointing to my outfit
"Bae, you look good." He said pulling me with me, "If ya'll leave use the spare in the candy dish and lock my door
"I got you bruh."
"Don't be fucking in my house." Chris said pulling me with him out the house
"Don't you gotta get ready? It's already 8." I said stopping
"I got time. Get in." He said opening my door
I got in and he just drove, he didn't say where we were going either, he just said "Gotta make a few stops." We stopped at a flower shop as he picked up some flowers. We then headed to a Cemetery. He paid his respects to his cousin, then we left.
"That was my first time going there since his funeral." Chris spoke
"How do you feel?"
"Mix of feelings." He said stopping at a light, "I ain't felt this way in a while." He said looking at me then back at the road. When the light turned green, he headed to this parking lot, then shut off the car. I then realized we were at the beach. It was empty, but the sun was setting and it looked so beautiful."
"Come on, leave your shoes and socks." He said getting out the car
We walked down the beach, walking in the sand as the water from the shore hit our feet. Chris kept talking about his childhood. I was enjoying it cause it was just sweet how his childhood was.
"I remember one Christmas, my momma told me Santa wasn't gonna get me anything because Santa didn't like me trying to impersonate Michael." He said laughing
"Impersonate MJ?" I said laughing
"I was a kid, I was impersonating everybody." He said laughing
"You ever want kids?" I asked
"One day. I mean I got Jasmine sweating me about being her baby daddy."
"But you do want kids, right?"
"If it's mine, I'll take care of it, cause that's my seed. Why you asking all these questions?"
"Just cause, I wanna know your thoughts on kids. Which leads to my next subject."
"Let me guess. Marriage?" He said stopping
"I just want to know your input." I said looking at him. He just looked at me.
"Well all I got to say is all a marriage is, is a piece of paper saying your married to someone."
"That's not how I see it."
"Well that's how I see it. All marriage leads to is divorce. I'm not trying to live the life my parents did." He said facing the water
"And you don't have to." I said hugging him from behind. "Your parent's marriage won' dictate your life. I know the least thing we want is to grow up like our parents, but don't let their decisions make your decisions." I said as he pulled me to face him.
"So, I'm guessing you want me to marry you?"
"Not yet. When the time is right." I said putting my head in his chest
"Come on. It's getting a little cold and I gotta head to work." He said pulling me with him. We went to the water fountain and rinsed our feet off. Then got in the car and took off to the house.
"If I ain't gotta work tomorrow night we should go to the movies." Chris said as we pulled up to the apartment.
"Sure." I said hopping out the car and walking upstairs
"Sounds like you don't waant to?" Chris said unlocking the door
"I do, I'm just tired." I said walking to the room
"Well go get some rest." He said kissing my cheek
I walked into the room and got in bed. I was watching Chris get dressed, but that's the last thing I remembered.

I was getting dressed and Alexis was watching me. She looked hella tired too. After I put on my shoes, she was knocked out cold. I was walking out the room and reaching for my phone on the counter when I accidently knocked over Alexis's purse. I was beginning to pick everything up when I was shocked to see a pregnancy test. I was even more shocked when it had a + sign. Alexis is pregnant and didn't even tell me. She just sat up in my face acting like ain't nothing new happened. Where the fuck we do that at?
"Yo Chris?" Dion called. I didn't even hear him knocking.
"Yo?" I said still looking at the test
"What's that?" He asked walking up to me, "Is that a pregnancy test?"
"Yeah man. Alexis pregnant and she didn't even tell me." I said putting everything back in her purse neatly.
"Dang man. Come on." He said pulling me out the house.
We headed to King's hideout. We greeted everybody as we were walking in.
"D and Chris.!! My two favorite errand boys." King said as we walked in
"What up King?" Dion said sitting down
"What up with Chris?" He asked
"Nothing." I said
"Aight. Well lets get to this then. Theres some nigga that messed with my baby sister and impregnated her and talking bout that ain't his baby. I want you to bring his ass to me." He said hitting his blunt
"Aight." We said getting up
We headed outside to Dion's car, he had a 2006 Dodge Charger. We got in and he put in his Yeezus CD.
"You good?" Dion asked me
"Yeah. I'm straight. Lets do this job." I said getting comfy
"King gave you the picture right?" Dion asked me
"Yeah." I said giving him the picture and address
"Oh yeah. His ass is mine."
"Why?"
"Trey. His punk ass owe me money."
"Trey? He sound familair. Who is he?" I asked trying to figure who
"Jacob's younger brother."
"The one with the braids?"
"Yeah, him."
"Aight. You know where he at?"
"Where else?" He asked looking at me. We pulled up to where I'm suggesting Jacob's house. We got out the car and went up to the door.Dion knocked and Jacob answered.
"What up D? Why you here so late?" Asked Jacob
"Yo brother here?" Dion asked
"Yeah. He in the back with one of his little toys."
"Aight."
"You here too?" Jacob asked me
"Yeah. Boss man want ya broher."
"Why?"
"He messed around with his younger sister and now she pregnant by him."
"I done told that nigga about messing with these girls." He said
"Go get him." Dion said
"Aight."
"Yo what up D?" Treyy asked coming out the back
"Lets roll out Trey." Dion said
"Where to?"
"Somebody wanna see you." Dion said
"Who?"
"A guy that goes by the name of King." When Dion said that Trey's eyes went wide
"This gotta do with his sister right?" He asked
"Yep." Dion said
"That ain't my baby. She was pregnant aready when I got with her." Trey said
"You messin with pregnant woman again?" Asked Jacob, "That's why you in this mess." He said
"Just come on. I ain't got all night and I damn sure ain't got time for people bs."
"Hold on, let me get a shirt."
"He ain't gon do noting to him, is he?" Jacob asked
"Not if Dion talks him out of it. That's his cousin." I said
"Talk some sense into that nigga then D."
"I'll try, my cousin doesn't play with family."
"Aight, lets go." Trey said walking out
"Dion will talk to him for ya." I whisered to Trey

Sorry for taking too long on the update. Yesterday was my last day in Cali and my Daddy was Wild N Out, but I'm back for now aha. Right now I'm kicking it at the park fo the 4th but expect an update tonight again. It's just now going on 10 so I will most likely update for ya'll. Happy 4th of July.!! Hope everyone had/has a great and safe 4th and I'll be back.!! :)
