I get to go home today and spend time with my family. I don't know how Jack will react to the kids, I haven't told him yet
"We're home." I called out to my parents
"Oh good, I just put the kids down to sleep." My mom replied coming into view
"Kids?"
"Uh-"
"Oh, Elodie hasn't told you yet."
He turned towards me
"I have triplets now."
"Like, they're your kids?"
"Yeah."
"That's incredible! Where are they?"
"I'll show you."
I led him to their room and opened the door
He stepped inside, and instantly became softer
"They're so precious."
"Yeah."
"What are their names?"
"This one is Aubrey, and this one is Adelaide, and lastly Ethan Jr."
"Can I hold them?"
"I promise you can later."
He looked down
"Who's the dad?"
"He's not really in our lives right now."
"Is he the reason why your arm is broken?"
I nodded my head
"He's really a nice guy actually."
"Is he a nice guy if he hurts you?"
"He didn't mean to, he was-" I started
My eyes trailed down to the floor
"He was hurting someone." I murmured
He wrapped me in a hug
"You'll soon find the one, I can tell."
