The Room.
I woke up on something soft... a bed? I peaked my eyes open to see if ‘he’ was watching. But as usual, no light. I stretched my arms and legs, hearing clicking noises. Was I really this stiff? I reached over to the bed side in search of a lamp, a torch, a matchstick, anything. But my hands touched something hard and cold. I moved my hands up and down this object to see what it was. I felt some glass and found a switch. Yes! I quickly pressed it and light glowered all around the room.
The first thing I saw was a door. A huge wooden door right a few metres in front of me. Wait, was this the door I had kicked down earlier? Of course it wasn’t, I had broke it down. I shook my head and kept looking. I looked from left to right, taking in every object that was in sight. There was a big brown chest of drawers to my left and the same colour wardrobe to my right. My eyes widened at how big this wardrobe actually was. It was probably about twice the size of me. I sat up and looked down at what I was sitting on. I was right, it was a bed. But this was most definitely the most gorgeous bed I have ever seen in my life. Not to mention how big.. King size? Most definitely. I looked up and saw curtains around the bed posts. I ran my fingertips over the black duvet cover, shaking my head at how soft it was. This was much better than my bed back at home, it was so comfy. I snuggled down under the covers and pulled the thick black quilt over me as well. I was still cold, not to mention I had a huge headache. I leaned back and put my head back on the pillows. I couldn’t help it, it was just so comfy. And I was so, so tired... Maybe if I just close my eyes for a few minutes, I might get better ideas of escaping, I thought to myself. I sighed with pleasure at how my body sunk into the mattress and closed my eyes. Before I knew it, I was out just like the light.
