Krysten's POV
I woke up and looked around it was quiet. I went to the bathroom and then looked at my phone. Jacob sent me a message.
Jacob: I love you and our baby so much.
I sent a message back.
Krysten: We love you too.
I got up and went downstairs and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the fridge open.
Krysten: What the fuck?!
??: Calm down its me, Koran.
Krysten: What are you doing here?
Koran: Well I was just around so I thought I'd pop in.
Krysten: But Jacob isn't here he's out.
Dee: Hey Krysten you're awake.
Krysten: Hey Dee what you doing here?
Dee: Well since Jacob invited Ray out I figured-
Krysten: Wait what? I thought Ray invited Jacob out.
Dee: No Ray told me that they were going somewhere and that I should come and hang with you.
I saw Koran walking away.
Krysten: Koran get yo silently creepin ass back over here.
Koran: Huh?
Krysten: Where are Ray and Jacob?
Koran: Krysten listen-
Krysten: No you listen!! I just woke up and I'm still tired, I'm hungry, my feet hurt like a motherfucker and my stomach is cramping even though there is no blood spewing from my fucking vagina, I've had an on and off day and right now I'm off, and I'm this close to punching you in your fucking face so I'd advise you to tell me where the father of my child is!!
They sat and stared at me.
Koran: Him and Ray sent me here to watch over you two while they were out.
Krysten: But where are they?
Koran: At Rodney's crib.
Krysten: Why?
Dee: Oh my god!
Krysten: What?
Dee: They're gonna kill Rodney.
Krysten: Jacob is such a fucking idiot sometimes I swear!
I went upstairs and got dressed and grabbed my keys. I went downstairs.
Koran: Where you going?
Krysten: Out!
I was almost out the house till he grabbed me.
Koran: You are gonna get yourself killed!
Krysten: I know what I'm doing!
I snatched my arm back and ran out the door to my car. I realized I didn't know where I was going until I realized this was it. The reoccurring nightmare I had been having I remember coming down this way now I know where I'm going.
Ray's POV
I checked the perimeter and Jacob shut down the cameras. I walked in and spotted a guy. I grabbed him from behind and slit his throat. I laid him down so no one heard. I did the same to the next few. Pretty soon they were all dead. I waited for Jacob.
Ray: Everybody that was down here is dead.
Jacob: Same here, you can head for the top floor now.
Ray: Aight.
I slowly crept up the stairs and saw the bodies. Damn. I heard music coming from Rodney's room. I slowly crept in through the door. I cocked the gun and it clicked causing the girl on top of Rodney to move. She stopped riding him and looked towards me.
??: Ray?!
Ray: Stonie?!
Jacob: What?!
Jacob's POV
I could've sworn he said Stonie.
Jacob: Ray what did you-
I saw Krysten getting out of her car and walking up to the house.
Jacob: Shit!
I put the gun up and in the van and ran down towards the house.
Krysten's POV
I was walking into the house and saw dead bodies on the ground. I almost threw up at the scent of blood. I heard a loud crash upstairs and made my way up there. I heard the door downstairs swing open so I rushed upstairs till I saw Ray Ray getting punched in the face by some guy. Stonie was crying and screaming I ran to the end of the hall into a different room cause I was scared. I opened drawers in hopes of finding a weapon and I found a gun under the bed. Then sat and thought about whether or not it was a good idea coming here cause if this turns out like my nightmare then this will not end good.
Jacob's POV
I heard her running upstairs so I followed. I saw Ray fighting and Rodney looked up at me.
Rodney: So yo punk ass helping him?! I thought we was boys Jacob!!
Jacob: We were. But boys don't send other niggas to abuse females!! That shit wasn't cool Rodney and yes I'm helping him.
I looked to the right and saw Stonie.
Jacob: What the fuck are you doing here?
Stonie: Minding my-
A loud bang came from my left. Ray shot Rodney in the hand. Stonie screamed and grabbed a knife. She came fast and I didn't mean to but I punched her in her face. It was a reflex.
Rodney: Fuck y'all!
Ray: What do we do with Stonie?
Jacob: I don't know but we can't leave her here.
Ray: What about him?
Jacob: Tie him up.
Rodney: Don't fucking touch m-
Ray shot him in the other hand. Then he tied Rodney up and looked over at Stonie.
Ray: I think you knocked her out. How much time is left on the bomb?
Jacob: 5 minutes. We need to find Krysten.
Ray: What the fuck?
Jacob: She ran in here earlier. Hurry up.
Rodney: There's your little bitch now.
I saw Krysten appear in the doorway.
Jacob: Krysten.
Krysten: Jacob move!
It was too late I felt a sharp pain in my side and when I looked down I saw the knife in my side. Krysten screamed and ran over to me. I fell to the ground and Ray came to my side.
Krysten: Jacob are you ok?!
Jacob: Stop stressing I'm gonna be ok.
I tasted blood in my mouth.
She started crying.
Krysten: I could've stopped it!
Jacob: No you couldn't have.
Stonie tried to get up but Krysten held the gun to her head.
Krysten: Give me one good fucking reason on why I shouldn't blow your brains out and onto the walls!!
Stonie: Cause he deserved it!
Krysten pressed the gun more on her head.
Krysten: Wrong fucking answer!!
Stonie: He took everything from me!! Once Cody died I became nothing!!
Krysten: Well Bitch you could've taken everything away from me!!
Jacob: Krysten no.
Krysten: I don't wanna hear it. She's made my life a living hell from the day me and you started dating. Then her side line chick dies and I'm supposed to show sympathy?! Boo fucking hoo she's gone and she almost tried to kill you Jacob the father of my child! I'm just sick of it!
Ray: 2 minutes.
Krysten: All I need is a second.
Ray: You can have this.
He sat the bomb in Rodney's lap. She pulled the trigger and Stonie's body fell to the ground. Ray helped me up and we got in Krysten's car and drove to the hill where I parked the Van. Ray got in the Van and Krysten drove me home. Once there Koran and Krysten cleaned the wound and I burned the clothes. Koran left out after giving me stitches and so did Dee. Krysten sat there and was bandaging up the wound.
Jacob: Im sorry.
Krysten: For?
Jacob: Putting you through all that. I was only trying to help Ray.
Krysten: I know, and I'm fine it's you I'm worried about. Are you sure we can't go to the hospital?
Jacob: Yes I'm sure thanks for helping me out with this.
Krysten: No problem.
I reached forward and kissed her.
Jacob: Damn.
Krysten: What.
Jacob: Im so in love with you it hurts.
She smiled.
Krysten: You're also corny as hell.
She kissed me and we laid down. The doorbell rang.
Krysten's POV
Krysten: I'll get it.
He kissed me then I got up and slowly made my way down the stairs. Once I got to the door I saw a girl taller than me but shorter than Jacob.
Krysten: Hi.
??: Hi does Jacob Perez live here?
I looked back at her car and there was a child in there.
Krysten: Yea but he's kinda not well.
??: Well my name is Maria and I'm here to talk to him. It's kinda important.
Krysten: Well come in.
Maria: Ok I'm gonna go get my daughter.
She went back and got the newborn out of the car. I helped her with the bags and brought her into the Living room.
Krysten: I'll go get Jacob.
I went upstairs and Jacob was laying down and looking at me.
Jacob: Hey who was it?
Krysten: A lady is downstairs and she says she needs to talk to you. Her name is Maria.
Jacob's POV
Jacob: You sure she said Maria?
Krysten: Yes.
Jacob: Thats my cousin what is she doing here?
Krysten: You should go check on her she has a baby with her.
Jacob: Shit. I'll be back.
I walked downstairs making sure Krysten didn't follow.
Maria: Jacob.
Jacob: Me you outside now.
Maria: Don't tell me what to do.
Jacob: Go now.
The baby looked over at me.
Maria: I can't leave my baby in here.
Jacob: Krysten baby can you come here?!
I heard slow footsteps coming downstairs.
Krysten: Yes?
Jacob: Can you watch the baby for a little while me and Maria need to talk.
Krysten: Ok.
We went out on the porch.
Jacob: What the fuck are you doing here?
Maria: I came to talk to you.
Jacob: Why you hate me remember. You said you never wanted to see my face again.
Maria: I did ok but now I need your help. We need your help.
She was referring to the baby.
Jacob: What?
Maria: We need a place to stay and I was wondering if we could stay here?
Jacob: Only for the baby. I don't like you ok, let's remember that.
Maria: I don't like you either.
She brought her bags in and set up in the guest room. I went and saw Krysten in our bed playing with the baby.
Krysten: You're so beautiful. Hopefully my son or daughter will be just as beautiful...but I'm worried...they daddy got a big ass head.
Jacob: Oh I do?
Krysten: Hey baby how long were you standing there?
Jacob: Long enough to hear about my big ass head.
I sat in the bed next to her then laid down.
Krysten: Well it is kinda big.
She kissed my forehead.
Krysten: Im gonna take Maria the baby.
Jacob: Don't be long.
Krysten: I won't.
She soon disappeared behind the bedroom door. Seconds later it opened again and she smiled at me then climbed into bed next to me.
Krysten: I called you a fucking idiot earlier today...sorry.
I chuckled at her statement.
Jacob: I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I thought it was better that way. But you came anyway. Which could've been very dangerous.
Krysten: I know but I didn't want anything bad to you. This may sound strange but when we first started dating I had this nightmare and it stopped for some time but then it started back up again. Every time I had it there were different scenarios and you getting stabbed was one of them that's why I came. I came to save you.
Jacob: Damn there wasn't any better scenarios? I mean I'm ok but I woulda been happy not getting stabbed.
Krysten: Well in one you died and in another you went to jail and in another...I died.
I tried not to think about her dying. It's too hard. It'd be like loving something and then breaking it. It's gone forever.
Jacob: So I guess we got lucky.
I held her close. She fell asleep and soon after I heard walking in the hall. I'm only ever used to me and Krysten so it feels weird.
I got out of bed and checked to see if it was Maria. But it wasn't. I grabbed a gun outta my room and slowly stepped downstairs. I saw the fridge door open and food being put on the counter. I walked up and held the gun to her or his head.
Jacob: Put the food down and back up slowly.
??: Jacob baby don't shoot, it's me!
Jacob: Mommy?!
She looked at me and I could hardly recognize her beautiful face under the dirt and raggedy clothes she had on.
Mom: Yea it's me. I escaped.
She was looking at the food.
Jacob: You still have clean clothes in your room. You go shower and I'll fix you something to eat.
I hugged her really tight then she walked upstairs and into her room. I made her some food and about 15 minutes later she came back. She was cleaner now. She looked like my mom again. I fixed her a plate and got her something to drink.
Jacob: You can leave the dishes I'll wash them in the morning. If you need anything else I'm upstairs in the room on the left.
I kissed her cheek then went upstairs and got back in bed. Krysten went running into the bathroom I followed and held back her hair as she threw up. My mom appeared in the doorway.
Mom: Is she ok.
Jacob: Yea, just a little morning sickness I think.
Mom: You can only have morning sickness if you're....
She had this look on her face. I wanted to surprise her but-
Jacob: You're gonna be a grandma.
I smiled and she smiled back.
Mom: I'll go get her some tea.
Jacob: Thanks mom.
She weakly smiled leaving us in the bathroom. Krysten started throwing up again. She washed her face and brushed her teeth. I helped her in bed and my mom brought up the tea.
Krysten: Thanks.
Mom: No problem.
Krysten: You're even more beautiful in person.
They both smiled.
Mom: Thanks. I didn't know Jacob had a girlfriend. Then again I wasn't around for him to tell me. It was nice meeting you.
Krysten: It was nice meeting you too.
She got up from the bed and hugged my mother and shut the door as my mother left.
Krysten: She's so pretty.
Jacob: I know.
She sat the tea down and laid back down.
Krysten: I can't wait for the baby to come.
Jacob: Me either. She is gonna look just as beautiful as you.
Krysten: Or, he is gonna look just as handsome as you.
I kissed her.
Jacob: Goodnite.
Krysten: Night.
Jacob's POV
I can't sleep knowing Maria is in this house. What does she want from me. A confession, how did she even find out where I live?... Koran. He was the only other person there that day. I regret it and I don't want Krysten to know what happened. She'll probably leave me. I need to stop thinking. I need to go to sleep.
THE NEXT DAY
Tyra's POV
I woke up and got happy. We're only a week away from graduation!! But I think about Chres and Krysten and Tay and it makes me sad that I'm leaving them. Speaking us Krysten.
Krysten: Hey!!
Tyra: Why so happy?
Krysten: Im finally having dinner with Jacob's mother. Last time she saw me I was throwing up.
Tyra: You were drunk?!
Krysten: Tyra I've been meaning to tell you about this. Jacob and I are having a baby.....yay!
She could tell I wasn't as happy as I should be.
Krysten: I knew it you aren't happy.
Tyra: No I am, I'm just shocked.
Krysten: You sure, cause I know it's a big responsibility and I know Jacob can support us.
Tyra: Thats good. Don't you have to go listen to that reading today?
Krysten: Yea it'll be hard but Jacob's coming with.
Tyra: I was wrong about Jacob. Who knew he was this sweet?
Krysten: All it took was love.
She smiled then hugged me. She should be angry or sad by lunch. She walked down the hall and Chres walked up to me.
Chres: Hey baby.
Tyra: Hey I haven't seen you all day.
He kissed me.
Chres: Sorry I've been doing extra credit for this college application. I'm working on all A+'s.
Tyra: You had all A's last year so if you get all A+'s this quarter, with your athleticism any college will want you.
Chres: Thats what I'm going for.
He kissed me.
Chres: See you next period.
Tyra: Ok bye.
Daniel's POV
I was walking around school looking for one person in particular.
??: Hey Daniel.
She found me.
Daniel: Hey Krysten.
She hugged me.
Krysten: Sorry I'm in a hugging mood.
Daniel: It's ok, I was actually looking for you.
Krysten: What for?
Daniel: Well I kinda wanna talk.
Krysten: About?
Daniel: It's hard to ask cause I don't think you'll say yes.
Krysten: How do you know unless you really ask?
Daniel: Tomorrow I wanna show you something but it's ok if you don't trust me I'll under-
Krysten: I'll come. But I have to tell Jacob.
Daniel: Thats fine. Um..I'll see you tomorrow.
Krysten: Ok.
She walked away from me and I was happy. I had a fun time with Jade last night but, I can't let Krysten go. So tomorrow night will be a test. A test for me to see if I can let her go.
