🌠 Chapter 37: my life is just great🌠
Dani's P.O.V
"the photo you posted on Facebook" i said taking a small sip of my coffee, Matthew nodded his eyes studying me for a while, his gaze lingering
"what about it?' he finally asks
i rolled my eyes, how stupid can Matthew knight get? "ven" i whispered out
his eyes widened "sh*t" he muttered lowly
"ah finally the bad boy understands!" I say throwing my hands up to emphasize my words, Matthew just shakes his head before eating some of his eggs and bacon, i smirk slightly but it changes fast
"you should delete it, i don't think Ven would like to be viewing that every time she visits your profile" i recommend quietly
"what about the matani shippers?" he whines childishly, my eyes widened "don't you want venthew or manxia shippers?" i ask awkwardly, he thinks about it for a moment and he shrugs
"as much as i like ven matani kind of sounds better" he says, i stare at him even more did he really mean what he said?
"have you been told that you have a habit of staring?" Matthew says in a slightly pissed of tone
i blush slightly, before coughing before dying of coughing before my damn funeral happens
okay exaggeraation
"matani's just easier to pronounce" he says pulling his phone out his pocket
my heart drops to the pit of my stomach right now's a good time to dig a hole
i replace the forming frown with a small smile, whats the use if even knows how i'm feeling?, i cupped the warm liquid and finished the remains, "anyways we should go somewhere" Matthew says standing up and placing a twenty dollar bill onto the table, i stand up and follow him as he walks out of the cafe
Matthew unlocks his car and slides in to his side, it's feels quite normal for me to slide into it seeing as i've been doing it ever so frequently, i look outside the window as matthew starts the engine, the suns shining brightly today.
After about 15 minutes of driving Matthew finally comes to a stop, I took a glance at my surroundings to realize we were in the middle of no-where,
Why are we in the middle of no-where?
Lengths of large green trees stood beside the long winding road, I knew it Matthew was definitely planning to kill me today out of all days
Matthew got out of the car and gestured me to follow him, I carefully open the car door and get out, the scent of the pine trees made it's way into my nose
I scrunch my nose up, yeah I don't like the smell of it
"Your cute when you scrunch your nose up" Matthew comments
I blush slightly and look away forgetting what I thought Matthew was gonna do, my instinct immediately kicked in because I got into action jumping into a karate position
"If anyone's dying here it's you" I say bouncing forwards and backwards on my feet, Matthew had this confused but amused look on his face
"What the hell are you doing?" Matthew says in a steady tone
"I know your plan your gonna kill me, but just so you know I know karate" I say looking him in the eye
Matthew stares at me with a blank face, and before I know it he does the most un-expected thing, Matthew goes into fits of laughter he's clutching his chest as he lets out hearty laughs
I blink rapidly, before straightening my posture, and blushing furiously, gosh I love this world so much
"You thought I-I was g-gonna k-kill y-you" Matthew says in between laughs, I give him my iciest glare and cross my arms in front of my chest
"Fudge you" I mutter before walking back to the car door
But before I can turn around he grabs my wrist and pulls me back around, he's already recovered from his laughing spree so he just stands with a smirk
"Let's go?" He says already turning around to drag me into the un-specified forest, if I hadn't been humiliated then I would have gone with him, although my stubbornness got the best of me and us this could be illegal for entering a Forrest with government consent
So I stood glued to my spot making no move, Matthew kept tugging on my wrist but I didn't budge from my spot
"Dani the sooner you decide to move the sooner we can get back" Matthew says in an exasperated tone
I shake my head and look down at my worn out chucks, Matthew let's out a sigh before shuffling closer he puts an arm around my back and another underneath my knees, I let out a gasp as he lifts me into the air bridal style
Matthew chuckles and heads into the Forrest, I wrap my arms around his neck clasping my hands together at the back, his warm musky smell envelopes into my nose
My heart thumps loudly and my breath hitches, this is hard really hard
After a while I finally see a clearing, thousands of flowers spread across the field, twilight much, this place feels familiar like really familiar, Matthew finally lets me down gently, I suddenly feel lonely without his embrace
He proceeds to lay down on the grass, I follow doing the same feeling the warmth of the sun shine on us, "my mom took me here a few weeks back she told me that I always use to go here with a special girl and how much I loved this place" Matthew says looking into the sky
My heart beats fast, it suddenly all makes sense this was me and Matthews special place
I sit up slightly, the reason why I didn't recognize this place is because where we are now is a few meters away from our normal spot
I gulp the occurring lump in my throat as my heart beats faster,
"You know I tried asking who that special girl was, but my mom said I'll find out one day" Matthew says awkwardly laughing at his words
"But you know I'm being completely honest here okay, this girl is ruining me this girl is changing me in a good way" he says finally looking at me
I look at him with a blank expression, "this girl must be lucky to have someone like you" I say in an un-audible whisper
"This girl is killing me" he says in the same tone I used
I feel my breathing go crazy and my heart wanting to jump out, does that mean there's still hope?
Would he still remember me?
Do I want another chance with him?
No I can't
"Anyways we should get going the drive to the convention center is a little far" he says breaking me out of my thoughts
I smile weakly at him my life is just great right now.
Matthews P.O.V
~ Tuesday night ~
"CHLOE DANIELLA CORTEZ" I said trying to get her attention
My eyes widened and shock filled my face, what the heck did I just say?.her face was also filled with shock with traces of disbelief
Memory:
"Hmm tell me something I don't know" I say wrapping my arms around a girl whose face was blurred small waist
She thinks about for a moment before snaking her arms around my neck
"My whole name is Chloe Daniella Cortez" she replied cheekily
Memory ends:
I immediately stand up dani? F*ck fu*ck
I clutch my head as pain starts throbbing hard, I shut my eyes and fall onto the ground, "f*ck f*ck" I mutter it repetitively as the pain roars
I feel small hands gently push me onto the ground into a lying position
The pain intensifies even more, so I'm literally struggling in pain, my breathing is ragged and I feel beyond terrible
Suddenly the pain stops and I calm, before I know it I've fallen into a deep slumber.

I hear footsteps, I immediately recall that I am in a hotel room with dani
"Where'd you think your going?" I ask finding my voice groggy I have no idea what happened last night after I sat on that bed with dani
Sh*t hopefully nothing bad happened...no that I care if I took her virginity okay maybe I do care cause Dani's different
I open and close my eyes trying to get used to the light seeping in, "Just heading outside for a- for some fresh air" she says innocently
I look at her suspiciously taking in her outfit as well, she wore some jeans which hugged her legs perfectly and a blouse that if you looked close enough you could see the outline of her bra
Her stomach suddenly growled loudly, I chuckled and stood up "let's go out and eat some breakfast" I say, she replies with a small nod
I head into the bathroom, her scent of vanilla slightly fills the bathroom making my heart skip a beat, I'm being so girly
After doing my business I look into the mirror and fix my clothes I didn't change yesterday and I can't really be bothered anyways, I left the bathroom and walked towards an impatient dani
"Aren't you gonna change?" Her soft but slightly hard voice says
"Why should I?" I say heading towards the door to put my shoes on
She doesn't reply and stays quiet, I feel a sense of deja vu wash Over me, as if I can trust her, I can be comfortable around her not in a friendly way but more, what am I thinking?
"Let's go?" I say, she follows without a word

I don't know why I'm feeling this way, but something in me says I can trust dani with anything the thought occurred to me earlier this morning, I felt it again at breakfast
So now I let my body take control over my brain and drive into a place my mother had brought me to a few weeks back, yup I don't know anymore
The familiar surroundings warmth my body giving me giddy feelings, the first time I came here I got a slight headache from another memory
Memory:
"This flower is for you" I say picking a daisy from the ground and placing it behind her ear
The girl whose face was blurred snaked her arms around my neck and took a deep breath,
I moved closer and brought her towards me and kissed her like there was no tomorrow, the kiss was passionate but hungry it showed how much I liked her maybe even love her
Memory ends:
I stopped on the side of the road and hopped out of the cat not looking at Dani's reaction
I gestured for her to follow me, Dani went out of her side and watched me with a careful expression before scrunching her nose up, huh maybe not a big fan of pine trees but then again neither am I
"Your cute when you scrunch your nose up" I suddenly blurted, curse my mouth
She doesn't see my surprised expression, instead she looks down at her shoes and blushes
But then she looks up and jumps into a karate position which shocks me at first
"If anyone's dying here it you" she says seriously jumping back and forth on her feet, I stare at her in amusement and confusion
"What the hell are you doing?" I try to say in a steady tone
"I know your plan your gonna kill me, but just so you know I know karate" she says in seriousness
I stare at her with a blank expression un-able to contain my laughter I burst out laughing, I end up clutching my chest as it's way to much
From my peripheral vision I see dani blinking and straightening herself from the previous karate position, the thought just wants to make me laughed even more,
"You t-thought i-i was g-Gonna k-kill you" I said in between laughs, she gave me a glare and crossed her arms over her chest , which I found extremely hard not to scoop her up in my arms and make out with her
Fu*ck did I just say that? What the hell
"Fudge you" dani mutters before turning towards the car
I regain my composure and instantly grabbed her wrist tuning her back around to face me, I smirk casually
"Let's go?" I say more of an order then a question, Dani's face was stoic, she made no move which only frustrated me more
Why did she have to be so stubborn
It only makes her hotter

"Dani the sooner you decide to move the sooner we can get back" I say in an exasperated tone, tugging on her wrist
Of course dani had to stay in the same spot, she shakes her head and looks down at her shoes again
Giving up my idea to persuade her to physically walk her into the Forrest, I pick her up bridal style which takes her off guard she gasps as I lift her, making me chuckle
She then wraps her arms around my neck,
Memory:
"Matthew let me down!" The girls whose face was blurred playfully scolded whilst hitting me on the chest
I laughed as I chucked her into the pool which was probably minus zero degrees
She resurfaced and frowned but soon put on a mischievous smile, she immediately pulled my leg which at first I was not aware of but then reality hit me as I splashed into the icy cold water
"Karma's a bi*ch" she says pulling her self towards me
Memory:
That particular memory was different from the rest as that girl definitely sounded different , I can recall other particular memories to, that have that same voice
Were there two girls?
I snapped back to reality as I entered the clearing my mom had brought me to,
I let dani down and walked further onto the field and lay down something my mom said I always did with this special girl
Dani soon followed and did the same, I immediately felt at ease and really comfortable with dani
"my mom took me here a few weeks back she told me that I always use to go here with a special girl and how much I loved this place" I suddenly say letting the words flow out my mouth
I kept thinking this special girl was ven, I mean who else?
I felt dani sit up slightly but she lay back down, I should probably continue
"You know I tried asking who that special girl was, but my mom said I'll find out one day" I say laughing awkwardly at my choice of words
"But you know I'm being completely honest here okay, this girl is ruining me this girl is changing me in a good way"
I say finally looking at her
She wears a blank expression, this was the first time I've told anyone this, the words just spill out
"This girl must be lucky to have you" she says in an un-audible whisper, she's probably affected by this maybe from her previous boyfriend, that guy with blonde hair the one in her album
"That girl is killing me" I say in the same tone she used
She looks lost in thought, I want to ask her what she thinking about but I just can't
"Anyways we should get going the drive to the convention center is a little far" I say breaking her thoughts.
