It’s been several months since we last spoke

If I were to be precise
Yet I still haven’t reached the stage where it gets easier as each days goes by
It hasn’t gotten much better
Still hurts like an open wound
I can’t get used to this
I have no desire to accept it
Reality
Nothing good lasts forever
It’s not been proven wrong to me so far
For everything good I’ve ever had you took away
Crushed it
Destroyed
Now I’m left alone with no wise words from anyone to heal my pain
No words are spoken but my own
In my time of need
Those so called friends of mine have fled
I lay here alone in my bed
Tossing and turning
Thoughts raging a war in my head
