Briony's POV ~
I was woken to a bright light shining on me which I figured must be coming from my window as I don't remember drawing the curtains last night. I blinked a few times before I realised I was curled up in Harry's arms. I must've fallen asleep while I was crying.
All I could think about was why I was crying which instantly made me tense up and Harry must have noticed because he stirred in his sleep. I layed still for a while as I don't wish to wake him.
I slowly wriggled out of Harry's arms and placed a blanket over his sleeping body before I made my way downstairs to the kitchen as my stomach was making sounds like a dying whale. I mustn't have had anything to eat last night.
I walked up to the fridge to find a note:
Dylan and I went off to a football match in Manchester so while we are there we will take that time to have a small holiday. Will be back Wednesday next week. There is food in the fridge and money in the cookie jar if you need it. Mom xxxxxx
Today is Saturday so that gives me a week and half to myself. Could have been longer but I am not complaining.
Since Harry was here I had to make enough breakfast for the two of us so I chose to make our favourite........PANCAKES!!
I was finishing off making the last batch when a sleepy Harry walked up to the kitchen door rubbing his eyes and yawning.
"Morning Harry" I greeted him.
"Morning" Harry replied still half asleep.
"Why did you get up this early if you are this tired?" I laughed.
"Food" was all he replied and pointed towards the plate of pancakes that I had just plated up and placed on the table along with syrup, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and strawberries.
We sat down at the table and grabbed as many pancakes as we could and drenched them in all of the toppings, before we ate them all up in silence. We both know how much I cherished food and no one interrupted my food time. Ever.
Once we finished the giant pile of pancakes I decided to go shower and get ready while Harry finished off watching his cartoons on the TV.
Yes he still watches cartoons but who would blame him, cartoons are the next best thing from real life.
I picked out an outfit of blue denim shorts with a white patterned tank top, then made my way to the bathroom setting my clothes on the chair and turned on the shower.
I brushed my teeth while waiting on the shower heating up. Once I had finished brushing my teeth and the shower was warm enough I jumped in the burning hot water. When I go in the shower I feel like all my problems are being washed away for the short time I am in there.
I finished washing out my conditioner and put on my clothes then brushed out my hair and let my long blonde waves fall naturally over my shoulders. I placed my paper plane necklace around my neck and made my way downstairs.
When I entered the living I found Harry washed and changed into black skinny jeans and a white V-neck, also wearing his paper plane necklace.
Harry has clothes over at my house just like I do at his since we practically share houses and it doesn't cause as much bother if we decide to stay over.
I sat down beside him to see him typing on his phone. He looked up and smiled at me then placed his cell phone back in his pocket and looked me in the eye. I have a feeling of what he is about to say.
"Who was on the phone to you yesterday?" He asked, which is exactly the dreaded question I was hoping he wouldn't ask.

Hey guys, this is the third chapter of complications and I hope you enjoyed it. I am still setting the scene and getting everyone used to the characters at the moment but trust me the story will definitely get better.
