When I woke up Camz was right beside me asleep. She was so beautiful. "I love you," I said as I snuggled up next to her shoulder. "I love you too Lauren," she replied. "I'm sorry that I woke you up," I said. "I'm glad that you woke me up so I could see you before you left" she voiced with love in her eyes. "I wish I could stay here, but I have to go," I confessed. "You could just stay here next to me, it's starting to get dark," she pleaded. "No, I have to go," I said as I put on my clothes. After I started to put my shoes on she came up behind me and put her arms around my waist. She put her chin in the crook of my neck and said, "Please don't go, I have a bad feeling about you leaving,". "Camz," I said, "you know you have to let go...". "Okay," she said, "you have to facetime with me once you get home okay?". "Okay," I said.

I decided to walk home. It was a pretty cold night. There seemed to be something different in the air. The air seemed thick with regret. After a few minutes of walking a man started following me. It had been ten minutes and he was still following me. 'What should I do' I thought. 'I doubt he can hurt me'. 'I think I should confront him'. These thoughts kept fighting each other in my mind. I decided to confront him. "Excuse me sir, but what the fuck is your problem?" I said. He didn't answer. "Hello? You have been following me for the past fifteen minutes". Still no answer. "Excuse me?" I said. "Do you need help?" I asked. "Listen dude you don't have to answer just stop fucking following me" I said. "You sure do talk tough for a human" the man said. "Human?" I asked. "You sure are pretty too, but your not just a simple human you have more...potential." he said. My heart started to race. Who does this guy think he is? What was he going to do? All of a sudden he grabbed my arm. "Hey man I don't want to hurt you," I said. "Oh sweetheart you don't have to worry about that," he answered. "Okay ass hat you asked for it" I said as I grabbed his arm and knocked it out of socket. I quickly flipped him over on his back, but he didn't show any pain. I took a few steps back officially freaking out. "He told me that you would be hard to bring in," the man said. "Who are you talking about? What makes you think that I'm going anywhere with you?" I asked. He suddenly appeared right by me and lifted his hands as a unknown force threw me against the brick wall. I could not move. "What have you done to me you sick pervert," I exclaimed. "Don't worry about that now he will explain it later," he said. When he turned around what I saw frightened me to my core. "Wha..What happened to your face.." I muttered. "Ha! So you can see my real face huh?" he asked as his eyes flashed to en empty black color. "Doesn't make a difference, your still a pathetic little human" he said as he threw me against the wall again. Everything went black...

When I woke up it was pitch black. "Where am I," I said. I tried to move, but I was restrained by chains. There were only two chains, one on each wrist. The base of the chains was attached to a wall. I pulled on the chains a few times before discovering that they wouldn't give. "What the fuck is this?" I asked myself. "They are silver chains," a man's voice said. "Show yourself," I demanded. "Why am I here?" I questioned. "One question at a time pet," the voice said. All of a sudden the lights turned on. The man that I had been talking to was standing just a few feet away from me. He looked horrible. He looked like he had been in a fight. His skin looked like it was falling off his face piece by piece. There was one thing I knew, whoever this guy was that was holding me hostage was someone I could never agree with. "Allow me to introduce myself," the man said. "My name is Lucifer, and I'm your father, well sort of," he said. I said,"What do you mea--". "Shh. Let me explain. I created your species. Your powers haven't been awakened yet" he said. My emotions were a mix of confusion, anger, and fear. "You are the first of your kind," he said. "You are a bender". "You can control things like fire, water, air, earth, blood, and metal, not to mention human emotions ecetera, ecetera" he answered. The look he had in his eyes made me believe that he was telling the truth. "Why would you do this to me? What makes me so special?" I asked. "Nothing. Except the fact that you are as loyal as a dog," he said. I smirked. "As if I would be loyal to you, dickhead, Just let me go," I replied. "Let me clarify this. You will be my pet. You will help me win the fight," he said as he took a few steps towards me. "Is this what you say and do to all the girls? Pretty kinky if you ask m--" I asked. He closed the distance between us and punched me square in the face. A heavy metallic taste of blood filled my mouth. He looked at me with a smirk on his lips "You see I am the only one who can awaken your powers. And you will obey me," he continued. I spat some of the blood out of my mouth, "Well that really makes me want to join you," I replied with heavy sarcasm. He held his hand out towards me. As soon as he did my insides started to twist and turn. I bit back a scream as my body started to tremble. "If you will not help me then you and everyone you love have no use to me," he whispered in my ear. My face fell. 'Did he truly know about my family' I thought. 'Did he know about Camz?' 'Could I risk that chance'. "Now, will you join me?" he asked. I spat on his face. "What do you think Sherlock?" I replied. "I really didn't want to have to do this," he replied as he wiped the my mixture of spit and blood off of his face, "but you leave me no choice" he said with a smile. He then proceeded to walk out of the room. A door opened and the man from earlier came in. "Persuade her Alastair," Lucifer said as he turned to look at me one last time before he closed the door. "This is going to be so much fun," Alastair said with a child-like grin...
