(Normal Pov) (With Shadow)
Shadow ran into the Mystic Ruins. He whined as memories of him and his sister, who died, appeared in his head. He didn't want the memories to come back, but he needed help from. The thoughts came rushing in once he passed by a burned down house.......
"Shadow!" Heaven, who was Shadow's little sister and was 5, came running into his room. Shadow, who was 15 at the time, smiled as Heaven jumped into his bed. Heaven was a black hedgehog with hot pink streaks
"Yes Heaven?" Shadow questioned as Heaven crawled over to him and sat next to him. These two lived alone. No one took care of them. Shadow got a job to support himself and his sister. He worked at G.U.N., to young for a boy his age to be working there. G.U.N let him work there because of his chaos powers. Anyway Shadow and Heaven's parents were killed when Heaven was 3 months old. Shadow had ran out with Heaven as soon as he seen his parents getting killed. He was lucky that he had his chaos emerald
"Can you tell me the story of mommy and daddy again?" Heaven questioned. Shadow smiled
"Sure." Heaven smiled and laid her head onto Shadow's shoulder. Shadow smiled down at his sister. He then began to tell the story of how they're parents met. Heaven yawned after Shadow finished the story
"Tired?" Shadow questioned. Heaven nodded. Shadow got out of bed and picked his sister up. He took her to her room and laid her on her bed. He kissed her cheek and started walking out.
"I love you Heaven. Goodnight and sweet dreams." Shadow turned off Heaven's lights
"I love you too big brother. Goodnight and sweet dreams to you too." Heaven yawned, falling asleep. Shadow looked back and smiled. He then walked out, closing the door a little. He then went into the kitchen to get something to eat, but when he went in there, there wasn't anything to eat. Shadow sighed and grabbed his coat. He walked back into Heaven's room and kissed her forehead, not trying to wake her
"I'll be right back. I love you." Shadow whispered. He walked out of her room and out of the house....
(Later That Night)
Shadow was walking back to the house. He was close to the house. He stopped as he smelt fire. Scared that it might be from his house, he dropped his two bags and started running. When he got there, he seen the house in flames and Heaven banging on the window, trying to break it. She was coughing and running out of oxygen. She seen Shadow and started hitting the glass harder
"SHADOW HELP!!!" Heaven shouted in tears. Shadow continued to run to the house, but just of he was close, the house exploded. Shadow flew back and hit a tree as pieces of the house flew in every direction. After keeping his eyes closed, he opened them and his eyes started to water. He pulled his knees to his chest and cried
"Heaven....." He whimpered as she flashed into his head. She was the only part of his family that he had left and she was just burned in front of him. He sat there for hours, not wanting to get up. Finally he got up and looked back to the remains of the house. The tears continued to trickle down his face. He then ran away from the house, leaving the memories behind....
(Flashback Over)
He stopped as he looked at the house. He felt his eyes water. He roughly wiped his eyes and sighed
"I can't remember the past. I have to worry about the present." Shadow thought. He continued to run until he seen a rusty red brick colored house with a small garden in front of the house. He walked up and knocked on the door
"Who is it?" A girl's voice was heard from the other side
"It's Shadow, girly." Shadow chuckled as he heard his friend groan in annoyance. She opened the door and let Shadow in
"You know I don't like you calling me girly, Shadow." Abigail stated, putting her hands on her hips. Abigail was a white hedgehog with blue eyes, long quills, and a devil like tail. Abigail closed her door and her and Shadow sat down on the couch
"Its been a while." Abigail smiled
"I know." Shadow replied. Abigail hugged him
"I've missed you." Abigail mumbled. Shadow hugged her back and chuckled
"I've missed you too, Abigail." Shadow replied. Abigail sat back down in her seat and punched Shadow in his shoulder
"Ow! What was that for?!" Shadow questioned. Abigail crossed her arms
"For not coming to see me for 2 years!" Abigail argued. Shadow sighed
"I'm sorry. I've just been out of it lately." Shadow rubbed the back of his neck
"Its fine. Now tell me. Why did you come all the way out here to visit?" Abigail looked at Shadow, waiting for an answer. Shadow sighed and began to tell Abigail about his problem. When he finished, Abigail sighed
"I guess I can help, but only because your like a brother to me." Abigail stated. Shadow took a deep breath
"So you have a plan?" Shadow questioned. Abigail laughed
"Hell ya! As soon as you told me your problem, the plan popped into my head." She replied. Shadow smiled
"Thanks."
"Now let's get to it!" Abigail grabbed Shadow's hand and pulled him out of his seat on the couch
"Come on!" Abigail ran out of the house. Shadow ran after her, closing the door after himself
"Where are we going!?" Shadow questioned as he ran beside Abigail
"To put this plan in action!" Abigail replied.....
