Is it right to cure people who suffer from schizophrenia? For those of you who do not know, schizophrenia is a mental disorder that often causes both visual and auditorial hallucinations. It can even cause you to imagine entire worlds and live through them without knowing their world isn't real.
It can be caused severe head trauma, or even emotional trauma. It typically develops in both teens and adults, but can devolope in younger children.
The worlds schizophrenic people see is very realistic and feels real, and they are often happy in these worlds. But what about when they're cured, and forced to leave into the real world.
They often don't know how to function in the real world, and end up homeless or just poor.
So I ask you now. Do doctors have the right to cure these people, and force back into the real world after being gone from it for so long?
