(Sock's POV)
"Jonny.. don't cry.." I said gently, him gripping my hand as he sobbed. I grabbed his shovel from him and tossed it by his parents' graves.
For days, Jonathan ignored me. He would pretend I wasn't there, and he wouldn't respond to me when I talked to him.
"Jonathan!! Come on Jonny, it's been a weeeeeekk!"
I was cut off by him lunging his chair at me, it smashing into pieces against the wall. "GO AWAY!!! I'M TIRED OF YOU!!"
I gasped, my heart shattering right there. He was huffing, face red in anger and panting in rage. His teeth were bared.
I burst into Mephistopheles' office, crying my eyes out. He tried talking to me, but I yelled at him.
"WHY JONATHAN?! YOU JUST HAD TO PICK HIM, DIDN'T YOU?!"
I watched Jonathan from a distance at school every day after. He never spoke to anybody, always had his headphones on and blasting music, and he actually put his hood up. He cried every day when he sat alone at lunch.
