Saturday morning I was reading the paper when I saw a picture of Jake. Jake was the guy I dated in high school. He was with a girl and they were on their honeymoon in Jamaica. She's a lucky girl. I thought. Jake looked so grown up in his black tux compared to a baseball cap and pick up it seems like another world. Jake and me with such big dreams fallin in love. We were two kids in a backseat all fearless and young. I got his first kiss but I know she'll get his last. I got the past and she's got the future. I got the class ring and she's got the diamond and wedding band. I got the long hair and hot head and she has the cool and steady hand. I got the boy he used to be and she get's the man he is now and ever will be. We each got stuff the other will never have.
