Chapter 7
Pov Claire
Ok so apparently Gray is mad at me for something ridiculous. So what? I'm kind of into Cliff now... He had his chance! Well while Gray stays mad at me, I'm going back to look at those chicken prices.
Gray's POV
I hope Claire feels guilty for how she has been treating me. Ok, So what? I'm a little jealous, but Claire hasn't even made time for us to hang out today!!
Ugh....well at least I'm done working for today. Im going to the Library to see Mary. I dont know if I like Claire... or even Mary yet. But until I make up my mind I'm better off reading books.
Pov Claire
Back at the Poultry Farm
"Sigh.... " I breath out while standing back at Popuri and Rick's place.
Popuri says "What happened! I told Rick the whole story!"
"Well I talked to Gray and he is so mad at me!!" I say with a little fear that you can be heard in my voice
"Well Claire, you shouldn't be that upset about it cause he'll get over it. And you didn't really do anything wrong, and plus its almost summer! Kai is coming soon!!!"
"Popuri you really shouldn't be hanging out with a guy like Kai! He's always traveling!!!" Rick says walking down the stairs to where me and Popuri were standing.
"No he doesn't!!!" Popuri says defending Kai
"Popuri and Rick you guys really are brother and sister! Well I have to get going See you later!" I say leaving out the door.
On my way back to the farm I felt sorta happy and sad inside. It was almost summer so maybe I shouldn't get so worked up about Gray, he'll get over it!
Eventually... And then again I have Kai to look forward to seeing! My old friend. Kai always wore a purple bandana, a brown jacket with a white shirt under it and purple pans with black boots.
Kai always came in the summer cause he's not the sort of person who stays in the cold. Popuri really has a crush on him too, but could never really go out with him cause Rick is very over protected of her!
But anyway, I was on my way back to the farm and out of nowhere a dog comes and starts chasing me!! It chased me all the way to my farm! I got tired and sat down where the dog couldn't see me. But turns out the dog was right behind me! I scream so loud and next thing I know Zack is there. Zack is the guy who takes my shipments when I ship items for money. He's very muscular, but friendly!
"Hi Claire sorry if he startled you! He's very nice but i don't know what to do with him! " Zack says to me
"Hi Zack, and what do you mean?"
"Well I found this dog on the beach and Won wont let me keep him!".
(Il tell you about Won later in the story) "Well Zack, I'm getting lonely on the farm without some animals, I could keep him!"
"Sure he's all yours! But I gotta get back home. See ya!" Zack says exiting my farm
"So um.. puppy what should i call you...your brown, and jiggly! Haha, il name you jiggles!!! Haha, no that would be weird, how about i just name you Max for now"
(Puppy barks)
So me and Max were now friends but what about me and Gray....
Maybe I need someone's help....
