**Zayn's POV**
During the entire plane ride I could see how nervous Ashlynn was. I wanted to make all that go away, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. I was honestly terrified about coming over here. I know there will be a lot of drama at the funeral, and I don't know if I can handle seeing Ashlynn break down again. Then, I finally have to face her mother. She already hated me, and was going to give Ashlynn such a hard time about me. To add on to all of this stress, I keep thinking back to that note I found on my front porch. I didn't know what to do about it. I hadn't shown anyone the note yet; I didn't want any one to stress. I could handle this one on my own, Right?
The plane landed, and we made our way off. We all hopped into our rental car and Ashlynn asked," So where are we off to now?"
"Dallas," I explained.
"Why are we going to Dallas?" She asked, looking about ready to puke.
"Babe, that's why we are here. The funeral and your sister are in Dallas. That's where you lived before coming to London right?" I asked, wondering why she was so freaked out about going back.
"Oh of course, I just..um.. forgot that's all," She said,while a single tear fell down her cheek.
I grabbed her hand, intertwined our fingers, and asked," Babe, why don't you want to go back home?"
"Zayn, I hate my home. It holds nothing but bad memories and heartbreak! Every time I thought about coming back, it made me cry. I never wanted to come back here ever again," She explained. I wrapped her in my arms and she buried her head in my chest.
"Babe, don't worry. As long as I am here, I will let nothing happen to you," I smiled, and we both fell asleep as Niall drove.
**Ashlynn's POV**
We arrived in Dallas in no time, and then I had to direct the boys to my little town. All the time I was doing this, all the memories of my childhood flashed through my head. I hated it; it made me want to cry, but I was trying to stay strong. I was starting to feel sick. We pulled into my driveway and my mom ran out. "Ashlynn!" She cried while running towards me. She wrapped me into a huge hug. No matter how much I disliked my mother, I really loved this. It felt like it did before everything started going wrong. Then my sister ran out, and hugged me.
"VERONICA!!!" I yelled. A happy tear rolled down my face. I was so happy to finally have my sister back.
"You have no idea how happy I am to see you Ash," She smiled, still holding onto me. We all walked inside, and started catching up. My sister told me everything she remembered about being stuck with Alex. With each thing she told me, it made me happier he was dead. Everything finally felt like it had fallen back into place. I had my sister back, my mom was the same way she was before Veronica went missing, and I had the best friends and boyfriend in the world. Everything was great, but I spoke too soon.
My mom asked me to help her with something in the kitchen. The second we walked into the other room, she had to open her mouth and ruin everything. "You have to breakup with Zayn...."
