Jairo's POV
Today is probably the worst day of my life so far...The day Lily arrives! Yes, i know, it's so soon, can you believe she hopped on the earliest flight over here just to spite me? she's evil, pure evil!! what did i ever see in her?
I have to run over to Hailey's house before she arrives otherwise Lily is going to know that something is up. I ran downstairs and opened the door only to be greeted by the one and only, Lily? How the heck did she get here so quick?!
"Hi Jairo, i took my private jet" She smiled, ugh! she's so fake!
"You said you booked a flight" I said confused,
"No, we booked a pilot, the other one is off sick" Save me now "So, where is this little girlfriend of yours?"
"Jairo, you never told me you had a girlfriend" Ugh, mum, why did you have to say that?
"Uhhh, yeah mum, i do...Hailey, remember?" I gave her a look that said 'go along with it'
"Oh! Hailey, oh yeah i remember, you told me the other day! My brain is like a sieve these days" She started laughing nervously and walked off into the kitchen, that was a close one.
"So, Lily, where's your family?" I looked behind her hoping one of her family members would pop up and save me from this torture,
"There still in America, i flew out early so i could greet you" She smiled and i just stood there on the verge of tears,
"So your telling me, that you flew out from America to England, 4 hours early, just so you could greet me?"
"Yes" Even though i said i had a girlfriend, she was still about to kiss me so i sidestepped before she even got close,
"Well, i'm going to see Hailey now, you know my Girlfriend! The one next door who i mentioned was my Girlfriend! so you get settled in while i have a chat with her" I added for effect "My girlfriend!"
"Well, if she really is your girlfriend, you might aswell let me come see her, that wouldn't be a problem would it?" She smirked, bitch!
I tried not to let the venom show in my words "Of course not, let's go"
I walked over to Hailey's house and like she knew i was coming, she opened the door before i even knocked,
"Hey babe, i saw you walk over" She grabbed me and gave me a peck on the lips,
What. the. fuck?
"Uhhh, yeah, umm, Hailey this is Lily, Lily, this is Hailey...My Girlfriend!" I hope she's gotten the hint!
I saw Hailey smirk as she put her hand out for Lily to shake but Lily being Lily ignored it and Hailey got pissed,
"Listen here bitch!"
Oh wow, Lily's face was priceless when Hailey called her a bitch,
"I don't have to be nice to you, i don't have to talk to you, heck, i don't even have to look at you, but for fuck sake! I'm trying to greet you here but you know what, fuck you! Who do you think you are anyway coming to my house, and thinking you can waltz on in here and be rude to me? You have no fucking right!"
This is so funny "Look, Hailey is it? Speak to me like that and i won't be afraid to call my lawyer for verbal abuse"
"Well listen here, slut is it? Speak to me like that again and i won't be afraid to punch you for pissing me off!"
She grabbed my hand, pulled me inside and slammed the door in Lily's face, i change my mind...Best. Day. Ever!
I turned to Hailey "Well, that was interesting"
"Look Jairo, your really hot okay, i say it like it is, but if you think anything is going to come out of this pretend thing, think again because nothing, i repeat, nothing, is going to happen, kapeesh?"
"Uhhh, yeah, sure, i mean i weren't thinking that, at all, definitaley not"
Yeah right, i was totally thinking that, well, my plans are ruined!
She gave me one last look,
"Mum!!!"
"Yes Hailey?!"
"Where the fuck are my keys?!"
"I don't know, probably where you last left them!"
"Don't get fucking attitude with me, shit mum!"
I just stood there, watching them argue back and forth, back and forth, it was pretty interesting though,
"Don't fucking move them again mum!!!" Finally, they're finished,
"So, where are they?"
She turned to look at me,
"Are you really still here?"
I looked at her confused "Why wouldn't i be?"
"Nevermind, don't you want to get back to slutty?"
I laughed at her name for Lilly "Uhhh, no Hailey, your my girlfriend aren't you?"
"Doesn't mean we actually have to spend time together, just lie, sheesh!"
"Nah, i want to make it more realistic"
Knock Knock Knock!
"Who the fuck is that?!"
Hailey's POV
"Who the fuck is that?!"
I opened the door to find two police officers,
"Hello, is Mrs Strifeman Home?"
"Yeah one sec...Mum!!! It's the police!!!"
I heard my mum rush downstairs and she came and stood next to me, a bit too close for my liking though,
"Yes officer, any news about Annalisa?"
"Yes actually, she's been found"
Thank Heavens!!!
"But" Omg, that's a bad sign "She may have suffered some memory loss so she may not recognise any of you"
"OMG! Officer thank you so much, thank you!"
I stood there, stiff as a board, motionless as still life, just standing there, shocked by the news that had just entered my ears, i can't believe it. I heard the front door close and i felt a hand on my shoulder,
"Hailey, are you alright?"
"Ummmm, i uh, i-"
I didn't finish my sentence, i just turned around and walked upstairs into my room, i closed my door and walked into my bathroom, locking it.
I sat on the floor and looked at the razor blade that has kept me in check all this time. Now that Anna has been found, should i stop? It's just so tempting, even looking at it now just makes me want to do it...omg! I'm addicted!
I looked down at my arms to see all the previous cuts, even if Anna was found, she might not remember me so that will just make things worse, i can't stop, i have to continue! Unless...No! Hailey, you are not going to attempt suicide again!
My inner voice wasn't helping either,
It will help the pain go away Hailey, you won't have to deal with your so called family anymore.
No, i can't just leave everyone like that!
They would be better off without you, and you know it.
I did know it, and it was so true, it's obvious that no one wants me around...I picked up the razor blade and started cutting, deep, just like the first time. If i am meant to die, i will but if not, i will be saved, doubt it though.
I started to feel dizzy, very dizzy, i tried looking down at my arm but everything was just so blurry!
"Hailey?"
Is that Jairo? I can't even tell,
"Hailey?" Wait, naaah that can't be worry in his voice,
The last thing i saw was Jairo kicking the door down before i blacked out completely... total Déjà vu right there.
