[Dear Old Jamie]
Khaki Shorts. White Collar Shirt. Black Vans. Black Cardigan. Regular Damp , Curly Hair. My regular way to dress. Although my school isn't under dress-code. I examined myself in my full-body mirror like I do everyday. I huffed and grabbed my glasses.
I walked out my room , straight into the kitchen.
"Breakfast for today is in the microwave , Dinner is in the freezer. Have a nice day," My mother said lighting up her newport cigarettes. The flame from the lighter caught my attention. It always did ..
"Alright.." I blandly said like I did everyother day.
She left the house after telling me the rules. Which I really dont listen to. Why? Because im a Loner. Why is she telling me not to bring home a boy , when I've never talked to one in my life?
I feel bad for myself sometimes .. I brushed off the sadness and made my breakfast ; Toast with Nutella. I munched silently on the toast. The time passed fast , and before I knew it I saw my bus dash by my house.
My eyes widened as I grabbed my slightly worn-out backpack and went running , full sprint to the bus stop. Just as I arrived at my stop , the bus came.
"Thank God .. " I silently panted walking onto the bus. I toke a seat in the front section of the bus ; the seats making funny sounds when u sat.
Then the bus toke off , lightning speed. My bus-driver never stopped for any late arrivers. He just zoomed past them as they helplessly ran behind. But today was different , the bus-driver stopped in the middle of the street to let a kid on.
The kid was a boy. He dressed like me , his hair shaved into a mowhawk. My heart raced as he sat at the seat across from me. This feeling has never happened before. All of a sudden I felt the need different. I felt the need to show out to get his attention.. I just wanted his eyes on me.
