Rachel's P.O.V.
I could see Danny and Camaria's eyes following me while I packed and I felt bad but how can I live with the fact that I'm not enough for him anymore.
I passed the kitchen where Hunter sat talking on his cell phone.. my guess
talking to Sugar probably about their feelings. UGH...
We haven't talk for the last 2 days and I don't know how to feel about that.
This actually hurt leaving the first time was easier than this.
Camaria ran past me crying and she started talking to Hunter, Danny did the same.
My only regret was I never learned sign language.
I guess they'll be fine without me I was always a broken down wheel no one ever needed.
Danny sneaked a glance at me and I could tell he was mad, he sure did have his father's attitude.
"So I'm going to go." I told them as I leaned up against the kitchen entrance.
"Ok." Hunter said.
"If you're going to go then stay gone I'm sick and tired of you ruining everything all the time!" Danny yelled at me as he ran out of the room and he ran up the stairs.
"It's amazing how he thinks this is my fault." I tried holding back a sniffle but I let it show.
"You are the one leaving I'm not."
"Was I the one out there prancing around with Sugar? Maybe explain that one to Danny but no Hunter Hayes can't do anything wrong."
"How about Rachel Boston?"
"Whatever. I'll send my sister over to give you the papers."
"Oh the sister that tried to murder my son."
"Your son that's how you always viewed him right? I always seem to forget that."
"A mother doesn't leave her children two times."
"How about we talk about the father that cheated."
"I think I did alright at least I don't have to spend the rest of my life with a girl who gets jealous over a girl with fake hair."
"Well at least I don't have to spend the rest of my life with a guy who can't sing."
"Oh so hurtful." he said sarcastically and I had the urge to slap him.
"Oh yeah well shut up shorty if you need to reach the alcohol the stool is in the bathroom."
"HEY!!"
I smiled as I picked up Camaria. "Hey baby girl." she smiled at me and I could tell she knew we were fighting but she had no clue what it was about. I sat her on the couch and I looked at her as I took out my phone. I quickly wrote her a text message and I handed her my phone. She looked at me and I wiped her eyes. I told her I was leaving for good and I wasn't going to live here anymore but I still love her and her brother. I told her that she couldn't come with me but she can come and visit me anytime she wanted too.
She handed me back my phone and hugged me. "I wuv u mommy."
I looked at her and smiled "I love you too."
I could hear Hunter walking into the room and I looked at him as I stood. "Tell Danny I said I love him if he even cares tell him I'm sorry"
"Whatever." he told me.
"Tell Sugar I said hi."
He rolled his eyes as I grabbed my bag, keys, and my purse and I breathed in deeply as I opened the front door.
Maybe this was for the best he was a distraction I have to keep my eyes on the ball...

I gave a final look at the house and I could see Danny looking out his bedroom I blew him a kiss and he shut his blinds. He hates me he thinks this was all my fault they thought I really wanted to leave and maybe I did.. But Hunter's is the ass that caused all of this and maybe I caused it first but he dropped the jenga blocks for us.
I got into my car and I closed the car door behind me there was only place where I could think about going.
I pulled into Sammy's driveway and he was sitting on the porch with Hannah she had her head on his shoulder and his arm was around her. I wished that I had such a love like these two had.
But I never was that lucky.
I thought about just leaving them alone because hell Sammy is Hunter's friend never really mine and probably everything I say will eventually get back to him. But damn I could use a hug right and I need to tell him goodbye.
I got out of my car and I walked up to them I could see Hannah's eyes grow cold towards me. She has this sick idea that I actually like him or he likes me but she's crazy he's like the brother I always needed.
"Hiya Hammy." I told them.
She stood up, looked at me, and she walked into the house totally giving me the brush off. Even after I gave them a cool ass ship name she thinks I want him.
"Don't mind her she's just having a bad day." Sammy told me as he looked down at the brown dead grass that filled his uneven lawn.
"She's not the only one."
"Marriage is hard."
"You're saying that to the one that can't keep one together."
"So it's true? I thought it was drunk Hunter since he couldn't spell."
"Yeah it's true.."
"How are you doing?"
"Not good.... Not good at all Sammy."
"It will get easier. I don't know what was going through his head but he's sorry."
"If he was sorry he wouldn't have kissed her... and he would have asked me to stay but he never does."
"He always let's the good ones walk... by ones I just mean you.."
"Did I make a mistake?" I asked as I threw a glance at him as he stood up.
"Rach if you thought it was the right thing to do then it was.. I can't tell you it was right because I wasn't put in that situation but if Han put me in that position I don't think I would walk. But that's just me it isn't you."
"What if he won't let me see the kids or if the kids don't want to see me? Danny hates me." I started crying and he rest his hand on my shoulder. "Danny just doesn't understand and I don't know how to tell without telling him what the fight was about."
"He'll understand. He really loves you he told me that a couple weeks ago.. He wanted you all to be a family he was saying how everything was good and he always wanted a mother just like you.. And Camaria I can never get her to stop gloating about you.. If Danny doesn't want to see you, you can come over when he's over.. Or if Hunter doesn't let you I'll beat the shit out of him."
"When I was gone did Hunter really care?"
"Yeah he did he was a mess."
"Then he's an idiot who I should never have came back too." I stood up and looked at Sammy. "I'm going back home so I guess this is goodbye."
"Goodbye? Isn't Nash home?"
"Yeah it's my true home sweet home but it's not that home I grew up in. I'm going home to Louisiana to check up on some shitty people..."
"Well will you be back?"
"Of course I still have my bud and my children to come back to..."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah."
"Why are you and Hunter such dumbasses? How am I the only one that sees you two are the one and the same?"
"I don't know Sammy."
"Can I ask you one more question?"
"Yeah."
"Why does life suck?"
"I don't know I was going to ask you that." I let a short chuckled that hurt and I cleared my throat. "So why was Hannah upset?"
"Um..."
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want too."
"No it's ok you're family.. It's just Han and I been to every doctor in the state and each result came back that we can't have children."
"Sorry.."
"Yeah we also looked into adoption and well that fell through too we don't qualtify."
"Why not?"
"Because of my job.. I'm not home much and she'll be like a single parent."
"You're job huh."
"That or the person just didn't like us.."
"You guys ever thought of the third option?"
"What is that? I'm pretty sure we're opened to anything right about now."
"Kidnapping." He stared at me and just blinked. "Too soon?"
He smiled and started laughing "Not quite that desperate yet." he pulled me into a hug and I smiled under him. "I love you girly."
"I love you too Sammy."
"You stay safe you hear."
"Loud and clear."
"That's my girl have fun in Louisiana and whatever you do stay away from the LA boys because we both know how that ends."
"Yeah like Hunter."
"Yup." he laughed.
"How about I try the Canadian boys I hear that they're nice this time of the year I heard it's Halloween over there since last month was Thanksgiving."
"That's racist and no it's not."
"I KNOW!" I laughed. He rolled his eyes as he let me go.
"You can be so bitchy sometimes."
"I get it from my sister."
"Whoa I wouldn't go that far." he laughed.
"Tell Hannah I said bye."
"Will do."
"See ya Sammy." I kissed his cheek and I walked back to my car.
"Bye Rach."
I looked up at him and sighed as I opened my car door. "I'll look into adoption for you guys see what I can do. Hell I'll carry the damn thing if I have to for you guys."
"That would be a gross looking kid." he laughed as he leaned up against the railing.
"Yeah I don't think we need another canadian in our group... Say it with me Sammy what you talking aboot?"
"Go to hell."
I winked at him as I got into my car and I waved as I saw Hannah coming out of the house she rolled her eyes as she put her arm around Sammy and he smiled at her.
I wished with all my heart for a love like those two.
