Sasuke looked over towards Izuka's direction. When he saw her sitting on the chair staring at him his eyes widened.
"What are you doing here?" He questioned with an emotionless expression.
"I knew you'd come here so I made sure that I got here first." She answered standing up.
"Who is this Sasuke?" Karin questioned.
Izuka looked over at Karin examining her. Karin started to feel uncomfortable under her gaze.
"Another fan girl Sasuke?" She questioned raising a brow.
"You stay away from Sasuke! Don't talk to him so disrespectfully. He'll kill you in an instant!" Karin shouted.
In a blink of an eye, Izuka was behind Karin with her new sword placed on her neck.
"You're the one who should show me respect little girl."
The mood of the room shifted. The room was now cold and everyone could feel the murderous aura coming from Izuka.
"You're all talk. You keep shouting insults and threats but you won't actually act on it. You expect Sasuke to protect you because you're weak. Don't ever talk to me like that again or else I won't hesitate. Respect your superiors." Izuka growled.
Everyone was silent after Izuka's outburst. Karin was shaking in fear looking towards Sasuke pleading for him to help her. Izuka removed her sword and put it back in its sheath that was attached to her belt. Once Izuka walked away, Karin fell to the ground.
"What do you want with me?" Sasuke questioned.
"I need to talk to you about something." Izuka said turning slightly.
"And that is?"
Izuka looked at his three companions then back at Sasuke.
"You know what it's about."
Sasuke nodded letting Izuka know that he understood.
"Get what you need. I'll be waiting outside."
Once Izuka left the room, everyone felt relieved but they were still frightened. Izuka sat on a rock outside of the hideout waiting for Sasuke. After half an hour he and his team came out so Izuka stood up. She walked past Sasuke not saying a word; only making eye contact. She kept walking forward and Sasuke followed which confused the rest of the team but didn't question it. They stayed a little ways behind not wanting to get Izuka's attention.
After an hour of walking, they had reached a post town. They followed her throughout the town until she stopped at a hotel.
"Why are we here?" Suigetsu spoke up.
"We're going to rest here. I don't care what any of you say, you need your rest if you're going up against Akatsuki members."
"How did she know that?" Karin questioned.
"I know a lot." Izuka answered startling Karin.
"How are we going to pay for this place?" Juugo questioned.
"I'm paying for it. I have plenty of money so I got one room with five beds., unlimited food to our room, and unlimited trips to the hot springs."
"Why did you pay for so much?"
"I want you relaxed when fighting the Akatsuki. I know what you're up against but you don't, so listen to my advice and follow it." She ordered.
"I don't need this, I need to find Itachi." Sasuke said.
Izuka got in front of Sasuke right in his face.
"You're not going anywhere; you're exhausted from fighting Orochimaru and traveling to all the bases gathering lackeys. So Mr. Uchiha, you're going to do as I say and not question my judgment." She snapped.
Sasuke was silent as he looked into Izuka's eyes. He could see that she wasn't angry but concerned and worried about him.
"Fine," Sasuke begrudgingly agreed.
"Good, now let's go."
Izuka led the four teens into the motel and went up to the desk.
"May I help you?"
"I have a room reserved under the name of Izuka."
"Here are your keys and passes. Your room us down the hall last door on your right."
"Thank you."
Izuka took them and led everyone down the hall to the room and opened the door revealing a huge room with five beds and a door leading out to the hot springs.
"Did you really pay for all of this?" Suigetsu questioned.
"Yes I have plenty of money."
"Where do you get this money?" Karin asked.
"Being an ANBU has its perks."
"You're an ANBU?!" Karin and Suigetsu shouted.
"Yes,"
"How come you haven't turned us in? Why are you helping us?" Karin shouted pushing up her glasses.
"Because I need to talk to Sasuke; now go enjoy the hot springs."
Juugo, Suigetsu, and Karin left without another word while Sasuke stayed behind.
"What do you want?" He questioned trying to hide the anger in his voice.
"He's still mad,"
"It can wait Sasuke, go and relax. Please just let me finish what I was going to say the last time we met."
Izuka gave him a smile then went out the door that led to the hot springs joining the others. She quickly got out of her clothes and put a towel around her then headed to the hot springs. Quickly, she got into the water and sat down enjoying the moment of relaxation. She looked around noticing that there were only three other girls but no Karin. She concluded that they weren't ninja and she sensed Karin outside the changing area. She could sense everyone in the premises keeping alert for any dangers.
She then heard Karin scream and yell at Suigetsu then she stomped her way into the springs huffing about how stupid Suigetsu was. She caught Izuka's stare and glared at her.
"What are you looking at?!"
Izuka lifted up her hands in surrender showing that she's not looking for a fight. She then got lost in her thoughts gazing up at the sky. Karin couldn't help but look at Izuka's body noticing the scars and the ANBU tattoo. The scars that caught her attention were the two on her chest close to her heart.
"How did she survive that?" Karin wondered.
She looked more at Izuka's body looking at all the scars that marked her. She was a bit jealous seeing how beautiful Izuka was and that she resembled Sasuke. Karin looked away and decided to get out. When she got up, Izuka did the same revealing the giant scar on her stomach. Karin had to stop and stare at it. The scare was grotesque and couldn't help but stare which Izuka noticed. She ignored Karin's stare and wrapped a towel around her body then got out. Karin still stood there with the image of Izuka's scar in her mind.
"Just what has she been through?"
Once Izuka was changed, she laid on her bed which was near the window and stared up at the veiling. She was wearing comfortable clothes for once instead of ninja clothes. After a few moments everyone came into the room looking relaxed.
"Anyone want food?"
Everyone then nodded so Izuka got up and went over to the door. She saw an employee walking down the hall.
"Excuse me, can we please have some food delivered here?"
"Of course miss,"
Izuka closed the door and walked back to her bed.
"Food will be here shortly."
"We shouldn't be resting. Itachi is out there and we need to find him." Sasuke said.
"Oh stop it. I remember when you use to be fun. What happened?"
"You know exactly what happened. The same person who gave you that scar almost killing you!" Sasuke shouted pointing at the scar near Izuka's heart.
Everyone was silent as they felt the air change again.
"You want him dead more than I do! He was your best friend and he killed everyone you cared about and almost killed you! What happened to me? What happened to you?! You use to be sweet and caring never wanting to kill another but now you're the opposite."
Everyone expected Izuka to get angry but she was the opposite.
"Jeez Sasuke, relax. Sorry I asked." Izuka said calmly.
"I won't relax until Itachi is dead."
"Then what Sasuke?" Izuka snapped.
He was silent.
"Exactly, you're a fugitive. What are you going to do when everyone will be out to get you. Good luck trying to raise a family not able to tell your child why they can't be registered as a ninja."
Then there was a knock at the door drawing everyone's attention away from Izuka. She got up and walked over to the door revealing a young girl with a table of food.
"We'll continue this later Sasuke; eat something, you're too skinny."
"Don't scold me like you're my mother."
"I never said I was. I don't want to be a mom, not after raising you and Naruto."
"Don't say that name."
"Fine, fine,"
The atmosphere cooled down so everyone went to eat in silence. Juugo, Karin , and Suigetsu wondered who Izuka was. So for they know that she's an ANBU, Itachi tried to kill her, and she raised Sasuke.
"Fight me," Sasuke spoke up.
"Excuse me?"
"Fight me."
"I don't know Sasuke,"
"Now," He growled.
Izuka then smirked.
"Fine,"
Can you all do me a huge favor and please inbox me some things that I can improve on in my writings? I want all the stories that I'm working on now to be better than the others. I know for a fact that my characters won't be Mary Sue's well I'll try as much as possible and my own POV won't be in them. So if you can do that then I'd appreciate it :D
