Claire's p.o.v
Codys just messages me, telling me we're going to this new resturant uptown that he wants to test out. I decide to get dressed since it's 6:30pm & his coming to pick me up at 7.
As soon as we arrive at the resturant we're seated because Cody made reservations a week before already. Something seems off, Cody hasn't spoken a word on the way here, did I do something wrong? "Cody is something the matter? " I ask.
Cody's p.o.v
I break out of my trance "Cody is something the matter?" She asks. I'm dreading to tell her what's on my mind but I have to. I can't believe I'm doing this. "Claire I don't um... think we should be together anymore" I say in a soft tone. It's over I did it.
Claire's p.o.v
What? He just broke up with me, I thought i was going to be the one to do it first, well not tonight at least, maybe tommorow. "You're breaking up with me? " he dosent awnser, he just nods.
"Well, uh, thanks for everything you've given me & all the memories we made", my voice cracks, why am I crying? I don't even love him. But its because I'm going to be alone again & I'm going to be stuck thinking about Tristan again & how much I love him.
I get up from where we're seated & I walk out of the resturant & start walking down the side path away from the resturant. My vision is so blurry because I'm still crying. I pick up the pace on my walking & I bump into someone. I look up to see who the person is.....
"Tristan?"
"Claire?!"
