Lucas talked to Maya for the next seven days not going home and having Riley bring him clothes and changing out shifts so he could shower or sleep.
Farkle,Riley's boyfriend, heard the news and quit the math team so he could come back and help with Maya.
Lucas liked Farkle and they became fast friends. He also liked how he treated Riley the only thing that he didn't like is that ever since he got back they have made out a lot.
It was midnight and Riley and Farkle had fallen asleep where as Lucas sat beside Maya's bed holding her hand and talking to her.
"Maya please wake up." He whispered
"Maya I know it's hard but you have to wake up...I'm...im starting to loose hope." He said sadly
"Riley told me about your parents and how they don't care and I'm so sorry Maya but you have people out here that care Maya I care Riley cares Farkle cares." He smiles pushing hair away from her face
"I'm going to get some coffee I'll bring you some too ill be right back." He said kissing her head and walking out

Pouring himself a cup of coffee Lucas got a call...Riley!
"Lucas Lucas get over hear now it's Maya!" Riley screamed he didn't even let her finish he dropped the coffee and his phone running to Maya's room.
"Crap Maya don't be dead don't be dead!" He prayed he reached the room pushing past doctors and Riley.
And there sat a Maya wide awake.
"Hey Bucky-Mcboing boing long time no see." She smirked
"Maya? Is that you?" He asked walking closer to her worried it was a dream and that he would loose her again
"What the crap are you drunk Huckleberry? Of course it's me." She laughed
"Maya I missed you." Lucas breathed hugging her
"I...I missed you too." She smiled and could feel a single tear roll down her cheek and she wiped it away
"Let's go home." She said
And he nodded taking her hand signing the discharge papers and leaving.
