It was Annabel's first day at high school. She loved school and she couldn't wait, she hastily got up and put on her school uniform. Her uniform consisted of a very beautiful kind of light blue polo shirt with a white tie and a white skirt; she looked amazing in it. "Mum, Dad hop out of bed you must help me get ready for school". Anna's parents were named Emma and Jake; they both had a lot of money but were still the most polite people you could ever meet. You see they had earnt all their money through their work for charities. The people that gave the money to the charities also gave money to Emma and Jake for helping the people in need. As well as that, they both ran their own business selling nerf guns for boys and make-up for girls; both of which were extremely popular. "Ok Anna, Dad and I will get ready for work and we will be out in about 5 minute's ok darling" "Ok mum".
Emma woke up Jake and they both got ready. It took them exactly 5 minutes to get ready and be out with Anna. "Can you help me do my hair please mum? "Of course I can and I'll get dad to make you breakfast" "Thank you" " Jake can you get Anna some breakfast please" "Sure what do you want Anna" " I would like some coco pops please dad" "Great manners sweetheart, I'm proud of you" replied Jake. Jake went to get Annabelle breakfast and Emma put Anna's hair in a ponytail with a braid. After Anna had brekkie, brushed her teeth, and her hair was done she finally got into the car.
Now that she was heading to school she started to get worried. "Mum what if they don't like me" "Nonsense they will like you Anna" replied Jake "Don't worry so much". "I guess your right dad, they will like me" "Good girl, well where here now have a good day, bye, "said Emma.
Anna hopped out of the car and went into the gate. Annabelle didn't know what to expect. Were the teachers going to be strict or were they going to be nice she kept thinking to herself. 'Boom, crash' Anna crashed into one of the students. He was holding all of his books and they all went tumbling down onto the ground. "Oh, my gosh, I am sooo sorry, I didn't see you there" said Anna when she had finally got up, the boy looked up at Annabelle. 'Hi, my name is Harry. Is it your first year here?' 'Yeah, I'm in grade 8' replied Anna 'I figured, me too, see you in classes hopefully'. Harry walked off and Anna was so happy that she nearly went prancing and jumping around.
Anna decided to go for a walk around and in her travels she stumbled upon the library and guess who was there. You guessed right it was Harry. He was playing Mario kart with a bunch of other guys. Anna walked up to them and asked if she could verse them. 'No way, you're gonna fail straight away' said one of the guys. 'Yeah you'll embarrass yourself' said another. 'Hey allow her to play; everyone should get a fair chance' Explained Harry. The boys allowed Annabelle to play and at the start of the game she had no idea how to play she kept on falling off mushrooms in a track called mushroom gorge and then she kept running into cows on another track. Then the bell rang for care, so Anna quickly walked away from the library.
When she arrived to care a group of girls walked up to her. "Hi, my name is Mary" said the girl with blonde hair. "Hello Mary my name is Annabelle but people call me Anna." "That's an awesome name, I'm Georgia, How do you like school so far?" said another girl. This girl was quite tall and had brown-ish hair. "I love school" replied Anna. "Are we the first people you have seen?" asked Mary. "Yep, well there was this one guy that I ran into this morning." "What was his name?" asked Georgia. "I don't remember, but I played Mario Kart with him in the library before getting here" replied Annabelle.
As soon as the three girls stopped talking a teacher went into the classroom. She seemed extremely strict. As Annabelle started thinking she realised that this was the first teacher that she had met today. "Hello class, my name is Mrs Lola. I hope you will all like it here at jade Chambers High." As care progressed Anna realised that Mrs Lola wasn't that strict at all.
The bell went and everyone got given their time table and went to their first class. Annabelle had math, she wasn't that good at math but she went anyway. On her way there some people walked up to her, "hey what's your name?" asked one of the girls, she was wearing a hat and red sneakers. "I'm Annabelle, and who are you" "my name is Lauren, and this is Jessica" said the girl. "Hope to see you around" said Jessica as the two girls walked away. Annabelle looked at the time and realised she was late.
"Why are you late?" asked the teacher when Anna walked into the classroom. "Some girls walked up to me and started talking to me" everyone started laughing, and the teacher hushed them. "Are you blaming the other students for your postponement" "No miss, I was just saying" "I DONT CARE WHAT YOU WERE JUST SAYING IT IS ONLY YOUR FAULT FOR YOUR POSTPONEMENT NOT ANYONE ELSES, YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME SENSE TO GET TO CLASS ON TIME" "ok miss I am sorry".
Annabelle walked over to a desk that was on her own. Everyone else sat with someone, as the class continued someone else came into the classroom. It was Harry he was ten times later then Annabelle and the teacher didn't care. "Teachers pet" Anna thought to herself while sighing. Harry ended up sitting next to Anna and tried to have a conversation with her. Anna didn't want to speak to him because she got into trouble and he didn't, but she couldn't resist the temptation to talk to him. "Can you please help me with this?" asked Anna even though she knew the answer. Harry helped her and tried to talk to her again, this time Anna replied and they had an amazing conversation.
Apparently after Anna left the library Harry talked to the boys and agreed that they would allow Anna to try and beat them again at Mario kart. Anna didn't know what to say she knew that she was more than likely going to fail and the only reason why she tried was because she wanted to spend some more time with Harry but she agreed and tried not to allow Harry to know that she was freaking out. "I'd love to, but you better watch out cause I'm definitely going to beat you" "of course you are" replied Harry grinning. Annabelle did some of her work and realised that Harry was extremely sweet as well as hot.
The work that they were doing was on algebra, luckily for Annabelle this was the only part in math that she was good at. She finished before Harry and everyone else in the classroom so she played qwop on her laptop. As Anna reached 50 on qwop Harry looked up and nudged her on the shoulder so she grabbed Harry's worksheet and went back to the game." Miss she took my work" said Harry. "GIVE IT BACK NOW" yelled the teacher. "I'm sorry, I didn't think that Mrs Noral would yell at you" whispered Harry to Anna. Anna didn't answer but she did give him back his work. Anna had written a message on the back of the sheet saying: Hey I am sorry I took your sheet but you did deserve it. I didn't get you into trouble when you were the one that nudged me (don't get me wrong I don't mind you touching me and all but I just wanted to give you some payback), Harry read it and wrote her a message back saying, I am sorry I did that, I know that you just wanted payback and its fine but next time nudge me back I like it more then you taking my stuff. Anna read it and gave Harry a smile and went back to her game.
After math Annabelle had English but all she could think about was break. She couldn't believe that Harry told the guys that she would play Mario kart. All the friends that Annabelle had though were Harry, the girls that got her into trouble and the two girls she met in care. Annabelle's English teacher was named Mrs White, she was very caring and helped Annabelle every time she needed her. The bell went and Anna went out of class.
On the way to the library Annabelle bumped into Lauren and Jessica, "Hey how are you?" asked Lauren. "I'm alright, hey can I tell you something?" "Sure, what is it?" "well you see I don't know what to do I met this boy today named Harry and he was kinda cute so when I saw him in the library I walked up to them and tried to play Mario Kart, I failed miserably so I walked out of the library and ran to care. Then he was in my Math class and he told me that he organised playing with them again, but I don't want to embarrass myself again what can I do?" "Just stay with us" replied Jessica. Anna agreed and stayed with the two girls. The girls were in grade 10 and Anna told them everything about her. She told them about her parents having a lot of money and she also told them about liking Harry. She trusted them with all her secrets.
The bell rang and Harry walked up to Annabelle. "Why weren't you at the library?" asked Harry. "I was talking to a bunch of girls" "Do you know their names?" "Yeah they are Lauren and Jessica" "Don't hang out with them" "Why not?" "I have heard heaps of stories about them, apparently they pretend to be your friends one moment and the next they back stab you" "You're a liar, you don't even know them." Anna stomped off and went to drama. The only friends that Anna had now were the two girls, and the girls in care that she hadn't seen all day. She never wanted to hang out with Harry again.
Her next subject was science, she had never been good in science and she was having a very bad day so she truanted. Anna decided to go and find a place where nobody hanged out at and she sat by herself. Anna heard Mary and Gorga walk by and she hid under the bush. "Anna what are you doing in here, we are in science together come with us" said the two girls.
Anna went with them and told them what had happened. She told them what Harry had said about the two girls as well, to Anna's surprise Mary and Gorga both had the same answer as Harry and they also said that he was just trying to look out for her. "Harry's a jerk, he organised for me to play Mario kart with the boys even though he knew that I was going to fail"
As Annabelle was saying this Harry walked by. He had heard everything that Anna had said and he quickly walked away from the three girls. "I thought she wanted to play Mario kart, I only wanted to hang with her", thought Harry to himself. "Anna was that Harry?" asked Mary. "Yeah but I don't care." "I think your being too hard on him Anna" "nah I'm not he's the idiot not me" "suit yourself".
Anna and the two girls walked to science and told the teacher why they were late. It was the first boy teacher that Anna had met and she didn't like him very much. It wasn't that the teacher had done something wrong Anna was just angry with the whole male population in that moment of time.
The bell went and Anna had Geography. She lined up outside the classroom and Harry walked up to her. "Hey Anna, is it true what you said outside the classroom?" Anna ignored him and looked away. "Anna please say something, if it's because of what I said about Lauren and Jessica then I am sorry, I was only trying to help" Anna got annoyed again and started to yell at Harry. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK UP TO ME AND THINK IT'S ALL COOL, they were my friends Harry and you were mean to them" "I was only trying to protect you Anna" replied Harry. "WELL STOP TRYING, YOU DON'T KNOW ME AND I DON'T WANT TO KNOW YOU" Harry was so shocked that he walked to the back of the line and didn't say another word.
The teacher came up to the classroom and told everyone to come inside. As Annabelle was walking she saw Mary and Gorga looking at her like she had done something wrong. Anna didn't know what to say, she understood what she had done wrong but she also knew that he shouldn't have been mean to her friends. "Anna, why did you speak to Harry like that?" Asked Mary, "I don't know, I was just mad at him", "are you going to apologise?" "No, I don't want to speak to him again" "Harry really cares about you Anna, you shouldn't push him away from you like that" Annabelle didn't say a word, she knew that what her friends were saying was true except for the part about Harry caring about her. She always had believed that she wasn't perfect and that no guy could ever care about her or even stands to be around her for that matter, but she agreed and still stuck to her theory of not apologising. Geography went by in a flash and the bell rang for second break.
At break Harry ran to Mary and Gorga. "Hey umm could I talk to you guys please, it's about Anna, and well I don't really know where to start..... This morning when she ran into me I felt this massive connection between us and well she is an amazingly beautiful young lady and i was just wondering...." "Yes we will try and talk to her for you, but right now we have somewhere to go" replied Mary "ok, thanks" "it's alright".
Meanwhile Anna was talking to Lauren and Jessica about what happened in geography. Annabelle thought that she had the right to say what was on her mind to the two girls and thought that no one would ever find out anyway. Anna was very mad at Harry and was still mouthing off about him. Anna also told Jessica and Lauren about Gorga and Mary. "I can't believe that Gorga and Mary would stick up for that idiot, why would they do such a thing" replied Jessica. "Don't worry about them, were your real friends Anna, they are just jerks that don't care about you or the world" "Yeah your right I guess...." Just at that moment Gorga and Mary walked past. They had heard what the three girls had said and were very mad at Annabelle for saying what she had said. "Hey Anna, before you leave, do you have fb?" asked Lauren. "Yeah, I do, I'll add you" "thanks well see ya tomorrow, the bells about to go" "ok see ya"
"Line up right now, this term I am going to be extremely harsh on you, if I see a mobile I will take it for a week, I have asked your parents and they have said it is fine, you will listen to me and only me, you will not talk out of turn and you will be respectful, AM I CLEAR" "yes miss" Anna was in shock her hpe teacher was a lady and was so strict and scary. Anna was starting to not like the whole idea of school and it was her first day. There was no one in this class that she knew and she was relieved.
10 minutes into the class there was someone knocking on the door "sorry im late miss" to Annabelle's surprise it was Harry. "Oh great, mr.goody goody is here" said Anna under her breath. "MY NAME IS NOT MISS, ITS MRS. DOUBLE" "ok I'm sorry Mrs. Double" "DON'T TALK BACK, FIND A SEAT, SIT NEXT TO THIS LOVELY LADY". Mrs. Double was pointing to a seat next to Anna. Harry didn't say another word and sat quietly next to Anna. It was a very long quite period. Anna was starting to feel sorry for Harry but didn't want to talk to him still. The bell went for home time and everyone started to get up.
Anna's mum and dad were waiting outside to pick up Anna. Anna walked up to them and hopped straight into the car without saying a word. "Hey darling, are you alright?" asked Jake. She didn't say a word, little tiny droplets of water started to come out of Anna's eyes as she watched her school go out of view. "Anna dear, speak to your father" "Yeah im fine, just tired" "ok darling as soon as we get home I will make you some dinner and you can go into your room and play on your computer, love you" "thanks daddy, I love you to"
