1 week later
Niall came home early from the trip and the rest of the boys are coming home today
I'm really eager to see the photos of Niall and Jess once they're published,
I'm not mad at jes because she was kinda forced but I'm really getting sick of management
I sat up and stood up from my bed and walked up to the mirror
I slowly lift up my shirt and I place my hand on my stomach gently
I'm 15 weeks and I'm barely showing,
it's just not right
I've been taking my medicine but I'm getting more tired every day
I havnt told Niall yet but I'm thinking of doing it today
Niall walks in and I quickly pull down my shirt
"Hey" he smiles lying down on the bed
I walk over to him and lye down next to him
"Hey babe I need to talk to you" I say holding his hand as he chin is softly rested on my head
"Yeah" he says
"Ok so last week I went to the hospital, just for a checkup and a scan and I havnt told anyone this so you're the first one, when I has Ella I was very young and I wasn't very strong at the time, i got through that pregnancy but now that I'm pregnant again, I'm even weaker, and our baby is very small and isn't growing very quickly so their pretty confident that it's going to be premature but if it gets worse, we could loose the little baba" I say looking down rubbing my belly
He remains silent as I look up at him
I watch him as a tear rolls down his cheek
"It's my fault' he says wiping the tears away not looking at me
"No Niall it's not" I smile at him "it's no ones fault"
"No Leigh, it's my fault, if I didn't get you pregnant you would be healthy right now and not in pain" he says as more and more tears roll down his cheeks
"Yeah, but I was part of that, but look what we have now, a beautiful little princess who's turning five next week, and who's started school, and who's got her whole life ahead of her, and I'm going to get through this pregnancy because I'm strong enough and were going to have another beautiful little boy or girl" I answer
He looks at me and after he a few seconds he smiles wide
"I love you so much Leigh Anne, more than anything" he hugs me
"I love you too Niall James" I laugh fiddling with his hair
"Mummy!!!" I hear a shout as Ella stomps in the room with a big frown
Her hair is all notty and frizzy with a comb stuck in it and she still has her pajamas on
"See, you're unlucky, if you had my hair, it would be all blonde brown and smooth and straight" he teases standing up
"Just go get her uniform" I tell him as he walks out the door "come here bub" I say patting the bed
She jumps up on next to me as I try to get the comb out
"Mummy ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Mummy stop ow mummy!" She cries out
"I'm sorry princess, I didn't mean to hurt you" I pout
"It's ok mummy" she smiles
"Desperate times call for desperate measures" I say putting my hands on my hips like a superhero standing up
Ella stands up on the bed still not at my height and does the same motion like a superhero
I smile at her as I walk over to the bathroom and get some hair gel out to make her hair smooth
I rub it into her hair and take the comb out alot easier
"Thankyou mummy" she says hugging me
"It's alright princess, go put your uniform on" I tell her before she runs off
I sigh lying down onto my bed staring at the roof
Harry's POV
I grabbed my luggage and saw a small figure stands with one other girl
Her hair was black with green dip dye and her friend had grey-white hair
I smiled as I left my luggage with our manager and security and ran over to her
I picked her up from behind and tickled her
She screams before she realized it was me
She continued to laugh as I remaind tickling her
"H-Harry stop please" she begs trying not to laugh
"Alright alright" I smile setting her down
She spins to face me and I plant a big sloppy kiss on her lips
"Ewwww Harry" she laughs wiping her mouth
I watch as Zayn hugs Perrie tightly as the waddle side to side
I looked back to see Liam on his phone and Louis pacing back and forth in his sunglasses
"We'll we better get back home" I smile
"Yeah" jade smiles looking into my eyes as I stare into her brown ones
"You're so beautiful you know that?" I say to her
She chuckles before pulling me by the wrist over to everyone else
"Hey we can take haz and Zayn home" Perrie suggests
"Hey where is Jesy?" I ask looking around
"Um I don't know, she was with us a minute ago" Liam answers
We all look around and Jesy comes running from a random place
"Guys we have to go" she puffs
"Why?" I ask as we all quickly walk to the exit
"I don't know, something's wrong with Leigh Anne" she answers
After Jesy directing us we finally arrived at the hospital
We all walked fast into the hospital trying not to draw any attention
We asked the lady where Leigh was and she directed us to a room on the second floor
We see Niall sitting on the floor with his knees up to his chest with his arms wrapped around them and the back of his head leaning on the wall
Then next to him is a worried Ella in her uniform playing with a 'my little pony' doll
"Niall what's wrong with Leigh Anne?" I ask dropping to the floor next to him
"I don't know" he whispers staring at the wall on the other side of the hallway
"Come here carrot" I say as Ella stands up and waddles over to me
I pick her up and cradle her in my arms as she brushes the hair on her pony doll with her nimble fingers
Niall's POV
In the past half an hour so much has happened
Leigh started freaking out and went pale so I brought her here and had to bring Ella with me
Everyone kept asking me questions of which I didn't know the answer
I kept trying to zone out but I can't stop thinking about Leigh Anne and how this is all my fault that this happened
{flashback}
"Niall!" Leigh Anne called out from the bedroom as I ws helping Ella out her uniform on
"Leigh Anne?!" I call out zipping up Ella's dress
"Niall come! Quickly!" She cries out
I leave Ella in the room and sprint to the other side of the house
I see Leigh sitting on the floor breathing in and out
"Leigh what's wrong?" I ask
"I think we're about to have a baby!" She shouts in pain
"Wait, but it's too early" I say
"We'll what do you suppose I do, push it back in?" She asks
"Is it possible?" I ask
"Niall!" She yells
"Alright" I say helping her stand up
"Just bring my clothes to the hospital later" she says
We walk out our door
"Ella come downstairs!" I call out as we slowly walk down the stairs
We make it to the bottom and Ella runs down the stairs without falling over
God....she's so cute
"Come here bub" I say quickly grabbing my keys
"Niall it hurts so much" Leigh cries into my chest
"It's alright babe, it's alright, it'll be over soon"
{end of flashback}
A sudden doctor came out and I stood up
"Um is there any family of Leigh Anne Pinnock's here?" He asks
"We'll I'm, her boyfriend, and that's her daughter" I say pointing to Ella
"Oh, ok, we'll, come here" he says pulling me away from the group
"We were forced to pull a sudden c-section otherwise the baby would have died, so your baby is alive, but it is so small it weighs 678 grams, so less than an apple really" he explains
"And Leigh Anne?" I ask nervously
"She....she lost alot of blood" I did not want him to say those words, please don't say them, please don't say them, "but she's ok, she is very weak and is going to need to be taken care of for a few weeks, so no leaving the house, no plane trips, not even a grocery trip, she needs to lye in bed and rest, pleanty of food and water, and calmness, so you're going to be very busy with two young children" he says
I nod hesitantly but glad she's ok
"But, would you like to meet your baby?" He asks
I look up at him and soon smile
"Come on" he leads me into the surgery room and takes me to a small box thing and I see a tiny baby, it's head is the size of my middle finger
It's so tiny
I look over at the bed and see Leigh Anne lying down there asleep
I watch her as she slowly wakes up
She sees me immediately and smiles
I walk over to her and kiss her forehead
"Good morning" I smile
"Morning" she whispers
"Um, I'm hoping that you would like to know this" A nurse smiles "it's a boy" she smiles holding our baby boy in her arms
She places him and Leigh Anne's arms and she lightly kisses his tiny tiny tiny red head
I'm so chugged but I'm really concerned about the size of him
"What are we going to call him?" Leigh asks me quietly
"What do you think?" I ask bending down
"No, I picked Ella's name, now you pick his name" she smiles at me
"How about........... Lucas?" I smile at her
I watch her as a tear forms in her eye
She looks down at our little miracle
She nods before tears stream down her face
Lucas wakes up and begins to cry
(Play music on side while reading the rest)
"Shhhhhh, shhh sweetheart, mummy's here" she calms him whispering in his ear
He instantly stops crying and begins to gigle
"Oh I think we have a gigler on our hands" the doctor smiles holding a clipboard
I help him fill out all the details
"You two are lucky, most babies who are premature are very loud" he laughs
I look at Leigh smiling who can't take her eyes off Lucas
"Would you like to hold him" she asks me
I nod and hold him in my arms
"Hello Lucas, I'm Niall, but you're lucky, you get to call me daddy" I smile
Perrie's POV
After Niall said yes, we all took turns to go in
I had Ella with me, so Zayn, el and I went first
I held her on my hip
"Now elly, before we go in, you have to be very quiet ok?" I ask her
She nods
I walk in and we see the smallest baby any of us have ever seen
I quietly gasp at the site of the small child in Leigh Anne's arms
I put Ella down next to Niall who is sitting down
I sit on a chair next to Leigh and Zayn stands behind me
"What's their name?" Zayn asks them
Leigh looks at both of us then smiles
"Lucas" she grins
"He's adorable" I smile
"Thankyou, some people have said he looks like his dad" Niall smirks
"Yeah? Like who?" Zayn asks grinning
"........just me" Niall looks down
I quietly laugh
"Um, so, he is premature?" I ask before gulping
Leigh Anne nods nervously
"Yeah, it was only six months, so he hasn't fully developed, but I'm pretty sure that he is a miracle, because not alot of babies get through this" she smiles
"Yeah, he's a lucky little boy" I grin looking at him
"Do you want us to take a photo?" Zayn offers holding out his phone
Leigh nods as Niall moves closer to her
Niall hugs Ella from behind as they bend down to closer to Leigh
Zayn stands at the end of the bed taking a few photos
"Would you like to hold him?" Leigh Anne asks me
I look up at her and point to myself "me?"
"Yes you silly" she laughs
"Are you sure, I don't want to do anything wrong" I say standing up carefully as my pain slightly aches
"We'll soon you'll have your own, so, you should probably get some confidence in yourself" Niall smirks
I smile staring at Lucas
I bend over placing his tiny tiny tiny body in my arms
I sit back down on my chair and slowly rock him side to side
"Hello Lucas, I'm Perrie, and you can call me aunty Perrie, pezza or just Perrie, whatever suits you, and I'm really nervous right now" I laugh, I stare into his large blue eyes, I then look up at Niall "he has your eyes" I smile
Niall slight blushes and looks back down at ella on his lap
He has the cutest big cheeks and large eyes, the rest I can't quite pick out since it's just bare
"Mummy can I hold him?" Ella asks Leigh Anne
"Yeah sure sweetheart, but daddy will help you hold him"
