Neji held the sleeping kunoichi close to him as he watched her.
She seemed so peaceful, and he would've given anything to keep it that way. He caressed her cheek and watched as her jaw twitched. He then sighed softly before sitting up, moving away from Tenten.
'Not my Tenten,' he thought, shaking his head as his own words felt foreign, 'She's not my Tenten. Focus, Neji. Focus on saving yours.'
The loss of warmth caused Tenten to awaken; her eyes fluttering open to see Neji's rigid back. She almost reached over to caress his back, but stopped herself moments before touching him. She sighed and retracted her hand, causing him to turn and look at her.
She smiled faintly before saying, "Morning."
"Hn," he replied, smiling back, "Did you sleep well?"
Tenten nodded and sat up, yawning softly and stretching her arms out. Neji flushed and quickly looked away.
Tenten glanced at him and asked, "What is it?"
Neji cleared his throat and said, "Ah, well... It's your... Attire... It's a bit revealing..."
Tenten looked down and blushed immensely. He was right; everything could be just about seen. Tenten blushed and covered herself up, saying, "S-sorry about that. I didn't want to sleep naked, but at the same time I felt too hot."
Neji turned and smiled awkwardly, saying, "That's alright. I can't say much; I'm only wearing shorts. It does make me wonder why she'd have clothing like that in her drawers though."
Tenten giggled softly and said, "Maybe I was saving it for you."
Neji blushed and quickly turned, shaking his head a few times to stay out of the gutter. Tenten giggled slightly before sighing and saying, " I know you want to talk now... Just... Promise me something first."
Neji nodded softly, turning to her. She smiled a bit and said, "Just promise me that everything will turn out okay. Promise me that everyone will be happy when this is all over."
Neji sighed and gently took both of her hands, kissing them softly as he said, "I promise, Tenten. I'll make it so."
Tenten nodded and smiled softly, saying, "I'm ready now, Neji... Tell me what needs to be said."

Tenten moaned in her sleep, causing Neji's morning wood to rise a little higher. He didn't even bother to turn as he grinned and pressed up against her rear.
For a moment, Tenten smiled and hummed approvingly.
However, when she opened her eyes, she screeched and jumped out of bed, remembering everything from the night before.
"P-P-Pervert!!!! You knew I was talking about my damned hair, didn't you?!?!"
Neji smirked and said, "Maybe. Nice ass by the way; mind if I get a better look?"
Tenten was steamed. "You sick son of a bitch! Go peek in a bathhouse or something!!!" "
Why," Neji said, standing up, "when I have you to look at."
Tenten growled and suddenly snatched up a kunai, sending it his way. He had almost forgotten that she was good at handling weapons, and he barely dodged on time as it almost grazed his cheek. Tenten was huffing and puffing seemingly tired from her little fit.
Neji smirked and asked, "Is that all you had to offer?"
Tenten gritted her teeth before saying, "I'm not going to allow you to put me on edge like this. Besides," she visibly calmed down a bit, "We need to talk. I'm back, but you're still here with me. You know what that means right?"
Neji smirked a bit before saying, "We get to spend more time together."
"Besides that," Tenten said, waving him off, "We can go look up more info on why this keeps happening. It was that tree I tell you; something about it feels off."
Neji rolled his eyes and said, "You know I don't believe in superstitious occurrences, Tenten."
Tenten snorted and said, "Yes, I know. Go on and get dressed; we need to tell the others quickly."
"Right, right," he replied, watching her curiously. Tenten blushed a bit and said, "Hey, aren't your eyes supposed to be looking at a body part, not my eyes?"
Neji grinned and said, "I can make that happen, you know."
Tenten screeched and sent another three kunai flying at him. Neji barely dodged as he exclaimed, "Alright, alright, I'm going!!"
Despite being angry, Tenten couldn't help but to smirk as Neji made his way out of the room. It told her that she was at least catching him off guard.
'Payback!!' she thought triumphantly.

Neji sighed and said, "We both know that we like one another. I care for both you and the other Tenten a lot, but I also know that only the Tenten on the other side can have my heart. Here is where she belongs. I've hurt her and I hurt you, and I'm very sorry for doing so.
But, we have to right the wrongs placed before us. I have to put trust and faith in the other me. I don't want you gone, but I want things the way they're supposed to be. Does that make any sense to you?"
Tenten sighed heavily and said, "Yes, it does... I just kind of wish it wasn't so, as selfish as it might make me." Neji nodded softly, gently placing a hand on her shoulder.
"He may not be what you want," Neji said softly, "but he's what you've got."
Tenten smiled faintly and said, "It sounds like you know what you're talking about."
"I do," Neji replied, standing up and reaching for his clothes. "I witnessed Tenten losing her breath in a water sphere. I knew that if I didn't do something quick, she would've drowned. Nothing's worse than witnessing your best friend and comrade dying."
Tenten shuddered softly and watched him as he disappeared in her bathroom. Tenten took that as a sign to get dressed; she'd be seeing and dealing with more of her comrades today.
She didn't want to admit, but she had liked the other world better. A lot better. As Tenten got dressed, she noticed a picture of Team Guy.
She noticed on how the other Tenten seemed so happy and content. A surge of guilt almost swallowed her whole.
'She must miss being home,' Tenten thought, slipping on her shirt. 'I wonder if she truly knows how I feel...'

The brunette sighed as she walked with Neji. She couldn't help but to feel almost as lost as yesterday, but at least she was home.
'Now I have to figure out to put this Neji back where he belongs,' she thought. As they walked, Team Seven came into view, and Tenten had never felt so happy in the past few days.
"Sakura, Naruto!! It's me; Tenten!!" Both were taken aback right away, but Sakura didn't let that stop her. "Tenten? Is that you? Actually you?"
"Yes, yes it is!!" Tenten exclaimed, mentally cheering. She had almost thought it was too good to be true. Both kunoichi embraced each other.
"What happened?" Sakura asked, holding her hands.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," Tenten replied, "But we had switched back! But Neji had gone back with the other me."
Sakura frowned and said, "Then... This is the perverted Neji?"
Neji smirked and said, "Well, when you put it that way- Auggh!!"
Sakura had slammed her fist into Neji, sending him flying and slamming up against a wooden post.
Tenten said, "W-wait, Sakura!! He's a good guy now!" Sakura scoffed, highly angry. "He deserves so many more punches for what he's made the other Tenten feel like!!" she snapped.
Tenten said, "As much as I agree, now isn't the time for that."
Sakura sighed and said, "Yeah, I know. Even so, he got what he deserved."
"Tenten!! Tenten, is that you?!" Tenten looked ahead and saw his ever-so-jumpy teammate flail-waving.
Tenten smiled wide and said, "Yeah, it's me! Not the same Neji though!" Rock Lee ran up to her and grabbed her in a large hug. Tenten didn't mind it and laughed. Neji had walked up to them hesitantly, almost not believing what he was seeing.
Lee and Tenten had never embraced like that before. Lee looked at Neji, setting Tenten down and grabbing Neji's hand. "Nice to meet you, other Neji!" he exclaimed, viciously shaking Neji's hand.
He smiled awkwardly, wondering how in the world the Rock Lee in front of him was any different than the one back home.

The duo had walked towards the woods for a little investigating when they were suddenly stopped by Hinata, Menma, Choji, Lee, and Shino.
Neji eyed them warily and asked, "Have you come to help or for a fight?"
Hinata smirked and said, "Seeing as how you have a bit of a useless Tenten there, there wouldn't be much of a fight happening."
Tenten said, "Come on Hinata, you know that hurts my feelings."
Hinata said, "I know, and I don't actually mean it. I just know that it'll get on my cousin's nerves here."
Menma said, "However, that isn't why we're here. We've come to offer assistance pertaining to the switch."
"We would also like it if you showed us where exactly the switch took place," Choji added in.
Neji looked at Tenten and said, "I think we can agree with that." Tenten smiled up at him, which caught Hinata's attention.
Menma cleared his throat and said, "Well, let us head towards that area." Neji nodded and proceeded to walk ahead. Everyone followed suit, and Tenten noticed that Lee was lagging behind some.
She turned to look at him and saw that he was close to tears. "Lee," she said softly, "What's wrong?"
Lee looked at her and sniffed, almost choking out, "I just... I thought you were gone... And when the other Tenten was defending me... I almost wanted to believe it was you... It was only one time, and I really am sorry!!"
Tenten gave him a sad smile and said, "Come on Lee. You know me; it's okay. You know I don't hold a grudge, even if you have gone in my drawers."
Lee bit her lower lip before admitting, "Actually... It was a few times..."
Tenten, although irked, smiled as best as she could and said, "Come on; let's not lag behind."
Rock Lee nodded, smiling wide as he walked side by side with Tenten. "I'm glad you're safe, Tenten," he said softly.
She smiled and said, "Thank you, Lee."

Team Seven and Lee had managed to convince Neji and Tenten to at least eat something before going to the library.
Once Tenten's belly was full of ramen, she paid for her meal and glanced at Neji, who had already finished. Naruto, who was on his third bowl, slurped the last bits of the contents loudly. She giggled and said, "Naruto, come on now; she should go before it's noon."
He put the bowl down and said, "Of course!!" He then paid for his meal and asked, "Now that you're back Tenten, what are you going to do?"
Tenten sighed and stepped away from the restaurant, saying, "I'm going to try and find out why I'm back, but Neji's well.. Over there. That, and I have to return this Neji to his proper world. We might be messing up some kind of warp in time for all we know."
"Well, it wasn't exactly your intention to come over to my world," Neji pointed out, chuckling. Tenten rolled her eyes and said, "Yes, I know."
Before either of them could say more, Hinata ran up to them and said, "Tenten, Neji Nii-San! I have great news! Shino said he thinks he knows what could've happened!" Lee beamed and asked, "You know what happened then?!"
She shook her head and asked, "What do you mean, Lee?"
Tenten smiled sheepishly and said, "Ah ha... Well, the good news is that the other Tenten is back where she belongs. The bad news? Well..."
Hinata blinked before looking over at Neji, who smirked. Hinata said, "Oh! My apologies! I thought you were my cousin! Well, you are of course, but... I'm confused." She grabbed Neji's hands and said, "I hope your time spent here has been well."
Neji grinned and said, "Yes, it has, Hinata." He couldn't believe it.
His own cousin not only looked super adorable, but her breasts were as plump as ever.
Tenten noticed a little blood go down his nose and quickly stomped him on the foot. Neji cried out slightly before quickly wiping his nose and saying, "Ah, anyway, we should be going to check the area out, yes?"
Hinata clapped her hands together and said, "What a good idea! I'm sure Shino will know what to make of it!"
"Hey, don't forget about me," said a voice behind Hinata. Neji shook his head in disbelief.
"Shikamaru?"
The young Nara walked up to the ground, smirking as he said, "The one and only. Well, so I thought."
Tenten grinned and said, "Alright, let's do this!"
"Yus!!" Lee and Naruto joined in. Neji couldn't believe how the shinobi were acting.
He wasn't sure if he liked it or found it completely disturbing.
