Days have been better, brighter than it should be.
I'm letting myself drown in this new sunlight I see ahead of me,
New ray of hope that says I could make it.
After a long while I have sense it,
The sense of feeling again the things I should have felt.
I was numb and dumb,
Finally letting things go made me a way of seeing other things I have never seen.
I should've seen this earlier but I refused to,
Gaining the fact that maybe I will just be hurt again.
What I did was wrong, it only prolonged the pain and my time of suffering and it's hard recovering.
Months passed by I learned to turn away from all the thoughts I had for you.
Now free as the wind I graduallylearn to never look back ever again.
