" My God, Raina you won't even believe that idiot had the nerve! " I was speaking to Raina over the phone, giving her a recap of what happened this afternoon.
"Yeah. Qué es esto??! All of a sudden he wants you to be his partner? Seriously, there's something going on in there, way more than he's letting on. " said Ray, reacting the way I expected.
"What do you mean by that? " I asked, clearly confused. What more could he possibly want from me ?
" What I'm trying to say is, mi chica, that there were other smart nerds he could have asked, some of them even smarter than you, no offence, but he's obviously up to something else, and this chemistry project is just an excuse. " she said, matter of fact-ly.
Gosh you're so right! But I can't let you know that. And I definitely can't let him use me. No way!!!
"That's one way of looking at it, a very crazy one too. But I'll think it over. " I replied meekly.

I'm in my pyjamas, on my bed, and it's one a.m, I have school tomorrow and I am STILL AWAKE.
I honestly can't sleep, not since what Ray said could be a big possibility.
I don't understand what Daniel wants from me, if not to use me for his chemistry grade.
And with that thought in my head, I finally fell asleep.

Tuesday morning. You can feel the hatred of school thick in the air, so thick that you could cut it with a knife.
I walked into school with Jared, looking at my schedule, seeing that I've got first period mathematics with Raina, I instinctively looked for her.
I found her talking to Brian Anderson, some snobby rich boy. I walked over to her, and stood by her side, smiling innocently at Brian. Of course, their conversation terminated the moment I got there, and I only heard Raina giggling while Brian stood there smiling.
Once Brian was gone, I turned to her smiling, wiggling my eyebrows questioningly at her, while she blushed under my intensive stare.
" Qué es esto?" She asked me innocently.
Innocent, my ass.
"You know what I'm talking about, Raina. "
" Okay fine. Brian was just flirting a bit... and he wanted to know if I am still single. That's all Savannah. You don't need to be overprotective. I've got a brother for that remember? "
Yeah. Ronaldo da Silva. He's in Jared's class. But Ronaldo isn't a nerd, nor a rich boy, nor an emo, and he's not snobby.
He's an athlete. A jock. He's on the track team and he's really buff. He has girls fawning over him all the time. But of course, he isn't overprotective over his little sister. That's because he's too busy being eye candy for them girls.
" Yeah. I remember Ronaldo. I just don't think he remembers you. Especially when all those hot girls surround him. " I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
Does he even realize that all the guys in school envy him?
Ronaldo looks sexy. He has that whole Latino vibe going on for him. He has curly brown hair, the same shade as Raina's, and he has olive skin with piercing green eyes, very bright and lovely. He attracts literally every girl in school, except Raina and I.
I took out my muffin and started eating, since I was late again I missed breakfast and I only managed to grab something off the kitchen table.
We walked into maths class, only to find Daniel and his group of people surrounding my table and partially Raina's as well.
Raina looked uncomfortable with the situation, but of course I wasn't fazed by these dimwits. So I went over and demanded that they move from my table.
"Move out of our way. Don't you guys have any place else to talk about garbage? " I asked cynically.
" I'll only move if you say yes to my proposition. " he said smugly.
This guy can't be serious. I stood there with my arms crossed, and glared at him.
" Fine. If I say yes you're gonna have to leave me alone. "
" You do realise that we're gonna have to work together on the assignment right?"
He said, smirking yet again.
" Yes Daniel. I know what partnership means. I just prefer to work alone. " I smirked back at him.
" I'm gonna keep you company during that whole assignment. You're welcome. " he winked and then walked off with his group of dimwits.
I didn't realise that the entire maths class were watching what had occurred between Daniel and I. Geez, don't these people have anything better to do than to gossip???
Raina and Clara both looked at me all shocked and all. I just rolled my eyes and opened my books. Mrs Chesterfield walked in and class commenced.

After maths class, I was ambushed by both Clara and Raina, who both wanted to know why the heck I agreed to that idiot's proposal.
I obviously don't want them to know that I was even a little bit curious as to what he wants from me, but wasn't about to admit to it.
" I wanted him to stop bothering me, so I decided to play along with it. " I stated simply. Thank goodness they left it at that.
Now all I have to do is figure out what the heck Daniel wants from me.
