"Where is the one who kidnapped my daughter?"
Metallicar gently handed Mary to Dean before walking up to the screen. "I'm afraid I can't help ya Megzy." She heard Sierra from where she stood behind Jason. She was trying not to laugh, making Metallicar smirk. "Nobot here took your daughter."
"Yes you did! And that traitorous Soundwave as well!" He slammed his fist down on the control panel. "You have ten seconds to hand her over before I blow up your base!"
"Ya wouldn't." She hissed.
"Because of the sparklings? It's just a simple press of the button. Nexus could do it." He gestured to her, making Metallicar snarl.
"Opi!" Sierra snapped, stepping around Jason and walking up to the television. "Don't you dare!" He seemed to relax.
"Sierra. Are you alright? Those Autobots didn't hurt you did they?" She shook her head.
"No, nobody's hurt me." He ex-vented in relief.
"Now you can come home and-"
"No." He stilled. "I'm not going back. I'm sorry opi."
"What?!" She looked to the ground.
"Th-the Autobots are nice opi. And you would never let Soundwave back in. So I cannot come home."
"What does that have to do with anythi- Oh. Oh, Sierra." He vented, shaking his head. "I knew that, the moment Soundwave realized who Metallicar really was he'd leave. But I did not think your affections were strong enough for you to desert me."
"Opiluk. I'm eighteen. I had every right to leave." She clarified.
"Eighteen?" He blinked.
"Yeah. My birthday was five months ago." She shrugged. "Listen. I love Soundwave, with all my spark. I'm not going to leave him."
"Sierra-"
"No. No guilt trips, no pleading, none of that. I'm staying here with the mech I love and with his leader." She glanced to Metallicar. "If he trusts her than I do too."
"Is this your final decision?" Her gaze turned once more to the screen.
"Yes, it is."

Megatron cut the video feed after making sure his sparkling was alright. He vented heavily and pushed away from the console. "Lord Megatron?" He raised a hand.
"Later. I am in desperate need of recharge." Without allowing the vehicon another word he walked to his quarters. Once inside with the door locked he allowed his facade to break. With a pained looked on his features he walked to his berth, sitting and grabbing the holo-image from the table. Sierra beamed upwards in an image, forever frozen in time. Though the still had been taken thirteen years ago, he still recalled every tiny detail around them.
It had been the first time in a long time that he had truly laughed, and he was glad that the child had been able to bring him even more joy throughout the next several years.
Once more he vented, laying back and allowing himself to slip into recharge. The only thoughts on his mind were how events would have turned out were there no war.

Metallicar hugged Sierra as the video shut off, knowing how much she needed it then. Though she would likely never admit it aloud, she had come to see Sierra as her own. Anytime Sierra needed something Jason could not help with she had turned to Metallicar. And the femme had gladly sat with her on many nights, soothing her fears.
And nearly every time Sierra would fall asleep against her side, making it so that Metallicar couldn't leave for a short while. Each and every time it had happened Dean would appear, smiling and commenting on how they looked like a mother and daughter.
"Meta?" She looked down at Sierra, who looked near tears. "Do you think opi hates me now?" She shook her head.
"I don't see how anyone could ever hate ya. Especially Megatron." This made her chuckle. "I have vague memories from before the war. Though we always bickered and threw banter back and forth he cared. For everyone."
"Then how did the war start?" Metallicar winced as the memory ripped through her.
"Things didn't go the way Megatron had planned." Dean felt Metallicar's pain through the bond, barely seeing her holoform shake a little as she released Sierra. He walked over, handing Mary to his sister before wrapping his arms around Metallicar's shoulders, pulling her back flush against his chest. She turned in his hold, hugging him tightly.
::It's alright angelspark.:: She looked up at him and smiled slightly at his rarely used term of endearment and chuckled. He kissed her forehead and slowly let her go, allowing her to turn to the others.
"Alright. Now. Let's find something to do, shall we?"
No one commented on her change of subject as everyone suggested different things.

One Week Later

Metallicar laughed as Gabriel held Silver, making different faces at him. Occasionally he'd bring his wings into the game, although none but Silver could see them. They were sitting on the floor in the lesser used Rec Room, just Metallicar in her mass-shifted form, Gabriel and the twins. Seeing as Dean and Sam were on a hunt with Arcee and Ironhide. Stargazer was hanging out with Hijack while avoiding Juliet, who was trying to subtly coax Jason to her room.
"Boo!" Gabriel shouted, making Silver laugh. Metallicar smiled while Mary sat in her lap, watching Sunstreaker as he walked in, his paints in hand. Sideswipe was behind him with two large tarps. The second they were on the floor the mech was gone again, likely to avoid being roped into his twin's art. Sunstreaker sighed and glanced behind him. Humming in thought as the adults had yet to notice him.
He pinned up the one white tarp before laying the other one on the floor. Paint splatters covered it, signifying that it was the one he used to cover his workspace. He stretched the tarp on the wall and grabbed the brush, pulling it across.
He didn't notice Mary lean and look around her mother to get a better view. Amazement filled her optics as Sunstreaker painted, for once not caring if it splattered on his finish. He swept the brush across the canvas, a rough image beginning to form. He lost himself in the art as forms emerged, gleaming in sunlight that looked so real Mary had to squint slightly.
A gasp left her a couple hours later as Sunstreaker set the brush down, stepping back to admire his work. Metallicar looked down at her before turning, her optics widening as her mouth opened and closed a couple times. "Sunstreaker." She breathed, standing. He turned to her and watched as coolant filled the corners of her optics. "Is that...?"
"Gorgeous. Whatever it is." Gabriel voiced. Metallicar laughed slightly as she smiled, moving nearer to the image.
"It's the Helix Gardens." The blue crystals shone bright and she could practically hear their soothing music. "One of the most beautiful sights of Praxus." Sunstreaker knelt beside them.
"I remembered how much you loved it Metallicar. And I figured you'd want your sparklings to see it too." She nodded, forced to reset her vocalizer as static burst from it.
"Thank ya Sunny." He chuckled.
"Don't call me that Sparky." She laughed as Mary reached out, barely able to brush a part of the image that had dried. Sunstreaker looked down at her. "You look like you'd be an artist once you could hold a brush." Her optics brightened, the purple turning to a soft lavender for a moment.
"Well looks like someone's going to be spending time with our resident fleshy-hater." Gabriel smirked. Sunstreaker glared at him before standing.
"There's only one fleshy I dislike anymore. And supposedly he has six golden wings." He pointed accusingly at the archangel.
"Shut up, you know you all love me."
"That's debatable." He gasped in mock horror at Metallicar's accusation.
"At least Silver likes me." He muttered. Metallicar merely rolled her eyes before leaving the room.

Alice stretched as she climbed from Optimus' alt mode, groaning as her back popped. "Ouch." She muttered, hearing Optimus chuckled gently. "Shut up." She elbowed his alt playfully. His holoform appeared, hugging her from behind and placing his lips to the top of her head.
"It feels good to finally be back home." Alice smiled up at Optimus. "With my beautiyuful mate by my side." She blushed a bit as he kissed her, only breaking it upon hearing a bark. Zasha rushed forwards and bounced around, the force of her tail flipping back and forth causing nearly her whole body to move. Alice knelt and smiled, scratching behind her ears.
"Hey Zasha. What are you doing outside?" She barked in response and took off towards the building. Alice laughed and yelped as Optimus scooped her up. She yelped in surprise and scowled. He chuckled and walked forwards with his alt trailing behind.
"Guys! Op and Alice are back!" Both looked over to see Sierra with Zasha by her side. Behind her was Soundwave, who bowed his head in Optimus' direction. Optimus set Alice on her feet and looked up at the mech.
"Soundwave. Sierra. I trust the two of you have been helping to hold everything together in my absence?" Sierra smiled.
"We have. But..."
"What is it Sierra?" Alice asked. She chewed on her lip.
"Opi hacked into our systems. He.... He knows where we are."

Barricade scooped up Blaze, who laughed and hugged the mech. "Hey opi!" He grinned before seeing Alexis on his shoulder. "Danni!" She smiled and waved.
"Blaze." Barricade greeted for her. "Did you have fun on your trip with Crosshairs?" He nodded, looking to the mech.
"Uh-huh! We found a small energon cache while we were out there." Barricade looked to Crosshairs.
"Thank you for taking him with you." Crosshairs waved his hand a little.
"It was no problem, really. Tha' kid's a natural when it comes ta scoutin'." He grinned.
"You taught me what I know Cross." Crosshairs simply chuckled. "Can I go with you again?"
"Maybe some otha time kid. For now? Hang out with ya creators." He nodded.
"Will do!" Barricade chuckled and left the room, Alexis and Blaze on his shoulder. Crosshairs sighed a bit, barely hearing Drift walk up behind him and hug him.
"You seem tense, Crosshairs. What is wrong?"
"Nothin. Jus' wishing for things we couldn't possibly handle righ' now." Drift smirked and turned his mate, pinning him against the wall.
"That is where you are wrong Crosshairs." He smirked and leaned in. "We'd find a way. If that is truly what you wish for."
"More than anythin'." He nodded and smiled.
"Crosshairs. Aishiteru." He whispered, making Crosshairs grin.
"I love ya too Drift." The blue mech smiled lovingly up at the green one. "And I always will."
