This goes out to my little 6 year old cousin who lost his dad and mom in the matter of 6 months. He's strong and keeps smiling everyday. He now lives with my uncle and girlfriend (who is his real aunt and not mine) and their two sons who are around the same age. He's not my biological cousin, but I consider him that. And he feels the same way :) Love you little buddy :)

You ask continuous questions

You want to find a common ground

You want reasons

But there are none to be found

You feel God betrayed you

You feel so lost

You feel so hurt

You feel you were double crossed

Your dad was a hearty man

He loved you so much

He wanted what was best for you

I know he misses your touch

Your mom I didn't know her

I'm sure she loved you too

She may have made mistakes

But all she cared for was you

Now you live with your aunt

And her two sons

You guys play all the time

Especially games that involve virtual guns

Please talk to us

Speak on how you feel

We may not understand

But at least you're being real

You may question God

But I'm sure he will save

A very special life for you

Because who could'nt love the Brave
