WHERE SHE FOUND YOU

WHERE SHE FOUND YOU

she found you sitting on that dark colored bench

she found you with your arm around another girl

so instead of approaching you

she turns

she turns and never looks back

then she goes home and relentlessly knocks on the door

no one lets her in for she is such a disgrace

then she lies on the grass

her hair sticky as a fly lands on her arm

she does not flinch

she stays still watching the bug

then the bug is gone

but she is still there

a car parks on the road just at midnight

out walks a boy

his hair the color of a raven

his eyes a shade of blue as bright as the sky

he is pale she turns her head as he sits on the roof of his car

he pulls out a cigarette and a bottle of vodka and beckons over

she does not hesitate stumbling over she sits beside him

taking the vodka and emptying the glass bottle

taking a cigarette and leaning her head against his shoulder

she does not know this boy

yet he already makes her happier then the previous boy

she knew two boys

one who sat on dark colored benches with pretty girls

and the other who sits beside her on a dark night drinking vodka and smoking cigarettes

a difficult choice

or maybe not
