Emma sat quietly in her living room, nose shoved in a book.
"How incredibly intriguing," she mumbled to herself.
"Emma! Come in here please," her mother hollered from the kitchen.
"Yes mother?"
"I've decided to put you in dance lessons with all your friends."
"What!? Mother, please, I'm not the athletic type."
"I don't care, it's good for you. Maybe you'll like it."
Emma sighed, and went back to her place on the couch, and returned to her book.

"Now children, I've gathered you here for a reason," Mother Murgatroyd told her young ones. "You all are joining dance classes, well, along with Jenna. But J, you're also starting a different kind."
"Mom! Dancing is for girls!" Alan whined.
"What kind are we doing?" Peta asked.
"It's called ballroom. It's dancing with a partner."
"Who is our partners?" Jenna wondered.
"Hold on, let me grab the list. Ok, Peta, Maks is your partner, Jenna, you have Val, and Alan you're with Brittany."
"Oh, never mind, I'll do it!" Alan's little heart leaped.
Jenna fidgeted in her seat. She wasn't sure if she was comfortable being so close to a boy.
Peta was content. Maksim was probably her best friend, and she was the only girl he didn't pick on.

"Sash! Sash!" Brittany hurried to her brother's room.
"What?"
"We are gonna be in dance!"
"What? No, no, no, no. That's for girls!"
"All the other boys are doing it to!"
"Ugh whatever," Sasha turned back into his room and slammed the door shut.
"Suck it up princess, there's no gettin outta it!" Brittany screamed through the door before running back to play with her toys.
