"It's been hours and I haven't come up with anything," Neil groaned in frustration.

"What do you mean by hours? It's been thirty minutes dude. Thirty minutes," Matt said laughing.

"It's been the longest thirty minutes I've ever spent. I hate it. Tell me a story. Gossip. I have to find something dude," he cried out almost pulling out his hair.

"Ally knows more about gossip than me. Why don't you ask her." He received a whack on the head for his comment.

"What was that for?"

"Assuming all women love gossip."

"But you do."

Neil cut in before they could get into it. They can argue for hours. "What was wrong with my article anyway?"

"It was sappy. And sweet. And lots of fucking crap." Ally said trying to be helpful. He glared at her. That article took a lot of work. Why do people only like gossip that means destroying someone's life. Or invading their privacy.

"See. Women. Gossip." Matt said nodding his head in agreement with his own statement.

"Do you want another whack upside your head mister?" Ally threatened.

Matt just scoffed. "What will your tiny hands do? You just caught me off guard the last time. This time it's not going to happen, so bring it short stuff," he taunted.

This was not going to end well.

They were interrupted by a stack of mail being dropped on Neil's desk. The mail man had already turned away, he wasn't a very talkative man. He just throws our mail at us and leaves. Easy work. But the problem is, he leaves all the office mail at Neil's desk. His desk. Expecting him to distribute it to everyone. As if it's his job. Neil scowled at the man's back.

Ally was going through the package looking for her mail. "She's getting married again?" Matt and Neil looked at her as she read a letter from the stack.

"Oh, it's a girl I met in college. She was in my group of friends I used to hang out with when you ditched me for guys night out. Umm... Andrea, remember her?"

Neil gave her a blank stare. "I couldn't remember the name of my one night stand. How do you expect me to remember someone from college I never gave the time of day."

She sticks her tongue out at him. How childish - excuse the fact that he does the same.

"Dude, how could you not remember her. She was like one of the sexiest girls in college and also super rich," Matt gushed.

Sexiest. Maybe, but then he's gay, so...

"Doesn't matter. So what's this about her getting married 'again'?" Neil asked her.

She sighed. "The first time was immediately after college. The wedding was planned and everything. She loved this guy, at least we thought she did. Right on the day of the wedding she ran away from the Isle," she stopped waiting for our reaction. We just look at her urging her to go on.

"The next one was a year later. Same thing happened and then three others within the last three years. And now there seems to be a groom number six," she sighed.
"Wow. In five years she's had five grooms but no husband. Why do these men keep doing this to themselves?" Matt said shaking his head. "She must be hot."

"Anyway, this is another invitation card to her wedding to some Jaxton," she said putting the letter aside.

"isn't he afraid he'll be ditched like the others?" Neil asked.

"How should I know, go ask him," her eyes widened and she smiled, "you really should. This can be your gossip. The ditcher bride. It'll be so cool."

It really was a great idea. Gossip. Drama. And it might possibly make someone cry or be embarrassed. Preferably the bride. He might just save the groom embarrassment. "That's a fantastic idea. Give me all the details for a draft for the boss." he said turning to his computer. Ally was all too eager to help.

"I thought she was your friend," Matt said to her.

"She is,"

"Then why are you throwing her to the Lions. Axel is going to tear her apart."

"She's my friend but my best friend's job is at stake."

"You're a wicked woman," Matt said shaking his head.
