 Feeling broken like a toy that is no longer.

Only some scrap now.

I pick you up and look at the details.

Your right shoulder is torn, your eyes are faded to grey.

The wheels that kept you moving are bent.

I examine you to every detail.

To a child, they would want a shiny new one.

When i see you, i dont reject you.

I pick you up and bring you home to be repaired.

I try to fix the bents and rips to make it look as good as new.

I repaint the chipped and tattered areas and redo a smile on your face.

When finished, i gently kiss it and put it on the table thats in front of me.

I give it a little push and it moves forward like it will until it needs to be repaired again.
