Before I start this chapter, I just wanted to thank @fangirl206, @potterhead0494, and @sophiawebs  for helping me a lot with my story!! I really appreciate it you guys, thank you =)

Scorpius sat up straight in his bed, cold sweat trailing down his back and face, chilling him to his very core. He threw the covers off of himself, getting out of his bed in a terrified flurry. Pacing back and forth in the bedroom. He was so focused on the dream he had just woken up from that he didn't notice the other bed in the corner, or the guy sitting up watching him.

"This isn't good. I have to stop it, stop it" he muttered, running a hand through his hair nervously, his fingers catching on the few knots that were spread throughout. Albus stood up and walked over to Scorpius, a cautious expression clouding his features.

"Stop what?" He asked, and Scorpius turned to him eyes wide.

"Nothing. I don't know what you're talking about." He mumbled a little too quickly, shaking his head in absolute denial. Albus raised his eyebrow and stared at him,

"I know you too well, it's not nothing." He retorted, and Scorpius furrowed his brow, confused.

"Why are you talking to me, Albus? I thought you hated me.." He asked, sitting back down on his bed and wiping the sweat from his face. Albus shrugged,

"What Helena said at lunch...it made sense." He said as if it was no big deal. Scorpius smiled at him and sighed.

"I had a dream. I had it over the summer as well, but it had gone away for a while. And it's back.." He said quietly, looking down at his hands and fiddling with them.

"What was the dream about?" Albus asked, leaning forward on his hands curiously.

"It's always about my family, and my past. Something bad is coming Al, and I can do nothing about it. If I did, my family would kill anyone they knew I cared about, at least that is what the dream is saying..." He said nervously, looking up at Albus, worry written clearly on his features. Albus ran a hand through his hair,

"You've been having this dream a lot?" He asked quietly, his voice almost a whisper, and Scorpius nodded his head.

"I know just who to talk to!" He said, smiling encouragingly and Scorpius gave him a grateful (albeit a little skeptical) look. Albus smiled and pulled out a small hand-mirror,

"Harry Potter." He murmured into it, and suddenly Harry's face popped up in the mirror.

"Al! He hates my father, this is NOT a good idea." Scorpius said through gritted teeth, trying his hardest to keep out of the view of the man in the mirror.

"Albus, is everything alright?" He heard Harry say, his worry clear in his tone. Albus shook his head,

"Er.. Dad, I have a friend who needs to talk to you about dreams." Albus said awkwardly, forcefully handing the mirror to Scorpius before he could resist.

"Uh, Hi Mr. Potter my name is Sco--" However he was quickly cut off by the elder Potter.

"Scorpius Malfoy! Why are you in the Gryffindor dormitory?" Harry asked, his voice stern.

"Actually, sir...I'm in Gryffindor." He said quietly, and Harry tilted his head, moving the mirror closer to his face.

"Are you? Well then, what's your dream issue?" He asked, moving the mirror back to a less awkward distance. Scorpius gulped and glared at Albus, though he was out of the view of the boy's Father.

"Well, I was having this awful dream over the summer, but then a few weeks before school started out of the blue, I just stopped having them. Now it's come back, and it's more vivid than usual. Does that mean it's actually going to happen?" He explained, his free hand wringing front of his shirt as he tries to explain through his nervous mind-set. Harry thought for a moment, running his hand through his unruly black hair that looked so much like Al's.

"It's possible...but I can't be absolutely certain. Did you want to tell me what the dream is about?" He asked, and Scorpius gulped.

"I.. I don't really want to share the details, Mr. Potter. But I think it would be good for you to know that a couple people would be at danger if this dream was to become real life." He said quietly, yet sternly. To show that this wasn't a joking matter. Harry simply nodded his head.

"I've been there before, Scorpius. I know what it's like to see the people you care about be attacked or killed right in front of your eyes." Harry's voice was getting softer as he continued. It was obvious that he was going back to the dark place he must've been in during the war. "If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask me, alright? I know the topic of death and attack can be an iffy subject at the dinner table at your house" Harry said, and Scorpius nodded.

"Thank you, Mr. Potter!" He said, feeling slightly more comfortable with the warm way he had been treated, despite having broken up with Rose. He still felt welcomed by Harry, and he was eternally grateful that he hadn't just been cast off.

"Oh don't call me that, it makes me sound awfully old, Harry's fine. Oh and one more thin--" He was cut off by another person yelling at him from somewhere on his side of the mirror,

"Harry! Why are you talking to Albus in the middle of the night?! He's supposed to be sleeping you twat." Ginny scolded, smacking him over the head with a rolled-up newspaper. Scorpius and Al chuckled, just before Harry's image disappeared from the mirror.

"Thank you so much, Al.." he said, looking up at his once ex-friend. Albus nodded, a faint smile bracing his features. They both went to their own separate beds and laid down. Scorpius felt a little lighter, as though he and Albus had crossed back over to the side of friendship, and not enemies. But perhaps it was nothing more than wishful thinking on his end. He closed his eyes, a smile across his lips as he fell asleep.

Helena was a bit of a risk taker, there was no doubt about it. So to find her wandering the corridor in the middle of the night with Cassandra and Marcy was no unusual occurrence. Ellie had opted out of coming, for walking about wasn't as easy as it had been before she had gotten her prosthesis.

"Where do you think it disappeared?" Cass whispered, looking at the map with searching eyes. Marcy shrugged, while Helena scanned the corridor.

"Isn't James going to get mad that you stole this from him?" Marcy asked Helena, a single eyebrow raised as she only got a wide grin in return.

"What's life without a little risk, eh? And I swear he was just here!" She said, frustrated. Stomping her foot on the ground with a dull clomp. She knew she wasn't crazy. She had just seen her Father on the map.

"Helena, maybe you're just imagining things?" Marcy asked, and Helena shook her head furiously,

"Both of you saw him as well! I need to see him, give him a piece of my mind." She growled, throwing the map on the ground angrily. She was about to sit down when she saw a shadow from behind a tapestry. As her eyes adjusted in the dim light, she could see a tall, thin man with scraggly blond hair and a beard. He was wearing long, dark green robes that billowed around him, and his eyes were narrowed. He twirled his wand between his fingers,

"Helena, dear! It's so good to see you." He sneered, and she glared darkly at him. Cass and Marcy leaned against the wall, causing his attention to turn to them. "You brought friends? Oh this should be exciting!" He grinned, his voice teasing as he started shifting his weight from his heels to his toes.

"You stay away from my friends." she growled warningly, holding her wand out towards him as a threat. He laughed and flicked his wand towards them, causing them both to fall to the ground, frozen.

Helena glared and launched herself at him. He let her tackle him to the ground. Staring down at him with disgust, she spat in his face. "You are a pathetic excuse for a human, and I feel sorry for you!" She practically screamed in his face, before standing up and brushing her robes off. He calmly wiped the spit from his face, as though he had barely noticed it was there.

"I only came to get your help, darling." He said softly, sitting up against the wall, and staring up at her. If it had been anyone else, Helena would have sat next to them and told them that everything was going to be alright, but for him she just stood there. Her arms crossed and her eyes narrowed, her anger radiating off of her.

"What help could you possibly need from me, Father." She asked, spitting out the last word like it was a name not worthy of being the dirt on the bottom of her shoe.

"You see, I need to recruit people for.. for something important. Of course you are the first person I had to come to, seeing as you are my precious daughter and all. But you were sorted into Hufflepuff, which obviously shows how smart I was to disown you as soon as word got out about your house. You could only ever be like me if you had been a Slytherin." He said, taking his turn to look up at her in disgust.

"Hey! You watch your tongue, you selfish prick! Being sorted into Hufflepuff was one of the best things that has ever happened to me!" She shouted, pointing her wand at him. He looked up at her, his face a little weary, but showing no signs of giving up.

"You look just like your mother you know, except for your eyes. You have my eyes." He said, his voice gentle as though he were speaking to a newborn lamb instead of the daughter he had disowned. Pointing to his bright blue eyes, as though to prove his point. Though they were the same shape and color, his did not shine with the mischief or love Helena's held. His were dull, cold, and showed absolutely no emotion.

"I'm glad I look like Mum, because you're a mess." She said kicking his leg as hard as she possibly could. "Get up and fight me! I'm not going to join your stupid little group! You aren't the next Voldemort Father, you're not even remotely good enough to even attempt to achieve people who look up to you like Voldemort's Death Eaters did. You never will be so stop acting like you are. You're a horrible human." She said once more, glowering at him when he refused to stand and fight like a man.

"I don't want to fight you, just destroy you. Friend by friend, animal by animal, and then I'll get to you. Once you are weak, I will come find you again. After all your friends and stupid little animals are gone, you will practically be begging me for death. You'll regret the day you turned down helping me." He said, before disapparating with a loud crack. Helena looked around frantically, nobody could disapparate inside of Hogwarts! Running over to her friends, she checked their pulse. Sighing in relief she undid the body binding spells that had been placed on them. She then ran away before either could look around to figure out what was going on.

Helena had found a small corner up in the Astronomy tower, where she finally let her tears flow. She wasn't used to being this confused, distressed, or even sad. She was a happy person, who cared about everyone, and she wasn't normally put in a situation where she had to choose between what was the right thing, and what was the easy thing. Her father had appeared, after 17 years. He hadn't said much, but enough for Helena to know he was planning something, something that was not going to be good. She let out a shaky sob, and ran a hand through her hair. Her father couldn't do that, she couldn't let him. If she had to join whatever his little club was to save the people she cared about, she would. Nobody deserved to be put through the same pain she had grown up with. Not really knowing your father or mother wasn't something she wanted any kids to have to think about. She slumped against the ground and stared at the enchanted ceiling, where the sky was visible. She stared up with tears in her eyes. She was so immersed in the stars, and trying to take her mind off of her father that she didn't hear another person enter the room, and make their way towards her. As they laid down silently next to her, she jumped and sat up.

"What on earth are you doing?" She asked, quickly wiping the tears from her face. The boy who laid beside her frowned, an eyebrow raised.

"What? Am I not allowed to look at the night sky, at midnight?" He asked, glancing at his watch as he said this. She shook her head, and laid back down.

"Thank you for finding me.." She muttered in an almost inaudible whisper. He nudged her,

"Any time, love." Evan grinned. She smiled faintly and turned her attention back to the sky.

"My father, he-he appeared at Hogwarts today." Was the whisper Evan heard, and trying not to react badly he looked over at her.

"How is that possible? No one is allowed to apparate in or out of Hogwarts?" He said softly, his confusion clearly noticeable in his tone of voice. She sighed,

"I don't even know. I don't know him well enough to really know anything about him...I just don't understand why he chose today, after seventeen years of neglect, to come to me?" She said, frustration rising. Evan nudged her again and sat up, looking at her.

"I know this is really tough, Lena. But you cannot let him get to you. You have an amazing future set out for you, and if you let your nonexistent father step in the way of everything you have coming, you'd be absolutely bonkers." he said, staring her down. She nodded her head, and sat up as well.

"You're right! I-I have to pretend he never showed up, even though he threatened everything I love." She said, wiping away the few stray tears that had escaped. Evan engulfed her in a tight hug,

"He's all talk. I promise!" Helena sighed and pulled back from his hug, before standing up and running a hand through her hair.

"I can get over this, I promise. I'm not always crying." She joked, referring to the past two times Evan had found (and comforted) her. Laughing Evan took her hand and tugged her behind him. They exited the Astronomy tower, and Evan led her through the school's corridors. She didn't pay attention to where they went because she was timidly looking in every nook and cranny for her father. Finally Evan stopped pulling her and looking up she saw they were in front of the Hufflepuff common room,

"Night Helena." He said ruffling her hair, before disappearing. Helena grinned and tapped the correct password on the barrels, and entering the common room. She went to bed that night feeling much better than she had after seeing her father.
